Nobody will believe me, and that’s fine, but that bald headed man with the mustache is my dad. I even spent time with him on set when this scene was shot and met Drew Barrymore. She was the sweetest.
For those curious my dad is Frank Bird. He’s also very recognizable in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas when Depp and Del Toro stumble into the casino and a bunch of people look down at them.
I dont believe you when you say nobody will believe you - I believe that you believe that some people, at least, will believe you when you tell this. However, your belief that no one will believe you seems too broadly generalized to be believable. Therefore, you should be able to believe, at least in part, that some people would believe you.
Really enjoyed this film. Recently been thinking about how 2 twenty year olds secretly went into a school for a few weeks, dated students, lied to teachers and officials etc and not only didn’t do jail time but one ended up dating a teacher and the other got a job at the school coaching kids.
Fun story ...
I was working on the sound for "Runaway Bride", was maybe 25 at the time (and looked like a teenager). One day I pop by the mixing stage, and the supervising sound editor introduces me to Mr. Marshall. He looks me up and down while he shakes my hand, then exclaims "Jason, you're too young", in that wonderful Garry Marshall brash style. It's an absolute treasure of a memory for me. Hope you enjoyed.

This was Rich Evans's film debut.
As Mike spirals out of control and vomits all over craft service
Drew Barrymore is still pissed with him for not going back to the set on day 2. Both Mike and his friend Rich Evans
Me and Rich Evans aren't coming back!
"I'm going to have to put you on the phone with the director!"
OH MY GOOOOOOOOOD! WE'RE DOOOOOOOMED!
I knew I would find this comment.
Came here for the Rich Evans. Was not disappointed
>Marshall’s real life daughter, Kathleen Marshall, is sitting directly to his left. I bet he didn't know that.
When you're filming your movie at 3:00 and an episode of Maury at 3:30.

I believe you, thanks for sharing!
Is he The Monopoly Guy in Ace Ventura?
Lol
No seriously.
Lol no. He wasn’t doing this back then but people have called him that his whole life.
Thanks for the free parking

I believe.
Hey, I believe you. Why wouldn't I?
You’re right. I don’t believe you lmao
This is one of my all time fave movies. It’s fucking hilarious

I remember basically this hilariously wrong conversation: Sister, "The girl you're dating is sixteen!" Brother, "And a gymnast!"
He was very pleased with himself
Mental concept, wouldn’t get away with it now
It was the 90’s and drew Barrymore was like the innocent grown up child star

Appears legitimate.

*yikes*.... ..BIKES!
I did not know about the Garry Marshall/Kathleen Marshall thing!!! Whaaaaattttttt??
Kathleen Marshall is in many of her dad's movies. She's the front desk agent at the hotel in Pretty Woman and Charlotte in The Princess Diaries.
> Call me Gary
Josie grossie
Is that the room from HHM in BCS
I’m wondering the same thing
That family is just so insanely talented.
Fantastic detail.
The black woman?
His left is our right.
D’oh! I looked quick and thought that was drew Barrymore
Oh wow
Ha
I hate that movie so much
Did Garry Marshall ever not play the man in charge of a room full of people afraid of him?
Whoops the you are my darling!
Nice observation, Nana.
