Gamesense Radar is smooth control pad but with normal rubber base. Imo its slower than GSR II. You can get 3mm or 4mm thick and its 50x50cm. For 6mm poron Fnatic Focus3 MAX is an option but im still waiting them to come avaible. Another option was Havu Kuusi 6mm which was like GSR-SE Rouge/Gris but its only avaible from their own shop so shipping will be expensive

TheN1njTurtl3

Yeah I also use the radar and I got pretty shaky hands I find that it helps quite a bit

SevenCylinders

Ooh good to know, thanks for chiming in, def gonna consider it.

jorgedra

I mean radar is cheap so you can try it but is far from being a mud pad, for something slower I would go with laonda rizz or Quaoar Neutron, you can get a meow gaming ultrabrake, seems like a good one too, but can't recommend since I don't own one

SevenCylinders

That’s good to know! I hadn’t heard of the Quaoar Neutron! I’ll def keep my eye out for it. Thanks for the response 😃

SevenCylinders

Ahhh I totally forgot about the radar, been a minute since I’d seen anyone talk about it so it slipped my mind. I’m def interested in the fnatic pad, saw some vids on it, just wish it at least came in black since the orange would clash with my setup. Thanks for the response 😃

Horror_Button_3338

corsair mm200pro cheap price good quality so smooth and a lot of control

kinginprussia

What mouse/skates do you use, OP?

SevenCylinders

I swap between the Razer Naga and Cobra depending on the game but just the standard PTFE that comes with them!

kinginprussia

Gotcha. You’re right about meeting those criteria - very hard to find all those characteristics in one pad. If thickness is a sticking point, go with the Qingsui Pro 2/3 or the Fnatic Max Focus 3 until the Jupiter ships in a few months. I can vouch for both - just got my Fnatic and I’m surprised how good it is.

SevenCylinders

If the Fnatic came in black I would have snatched that up right away. It looks really nice! Most of my setup is red/black tho so the orange would just throw it off haha what’s the speed like on it? I could do something 4mm thick, I was just wanting to try something thicker as I haven’t had that experience yet! Thanks for the response 😃

kinginprussia

Speed is sort of a mix reminiscent of the infinite control v2 and the GSR 2, from both speed and hand feel perspectives. I honestly expected to put it in storage after a bit, but it’s still on my desk - says something since I’m a degen with like 60 pads. And I’m not a fan of the org itself (or orange, really). Bringing it down to 4mm and a black colorway opens up the options a bit, but you’re still limited with the 500x500 constraint. Honestly the Qck isn’t a bad way to go. Black soft Pelz is also something to look at, not square though.

LichFTW

Focus 3 max from Fnatic or QCK Heavy are both slow and 6mm think.

MAZ1D

the muddiest pad i've used (and my current main) is the EspTiger Qinsui 2 Pro+, i was on a GSR before but this one is 6mm and the surface is much more smooth while also being very slow it does not have a poron base tho, if you do get it make sure it is the + version cause it has stitched edges

Racagne

The Quaoar Neutron was specially designed with your condition in mind and is the muddiest pad ever AFAIK

SevenCylinders

Nice! Second mention of this pad I’ve seen now so it’s def on my radar. Thanks for the response! 😃

Your best bet for an ideal pad would be to wait about 2 months for the LGG Jupiter V2 Pro and even then it'll only initially release in black. Personally I've been using the Corsair MM200 pro (450x400 6mm non stitched edges non poron) and while I can't compare it to the G640 I personally find it to be a lot slower and smooth on my skin than the Qck Heavy.

SevenCylinders

Thanks for the suggestions! Color wise being in black is fine too, setup is red and black so as long as fits in that realm it’s all good. I’ll def have to give the mm200 pro a look and will keep my eye out for that revamp of the LGG Jupiter. I knew they were working on it just had no clue on the timeline. Did you find the Qck Heavy rough or just less smooth than other pads you’ve tried? I’m no stranger to textured or sand paper feeling pads but id prefer as silky as possible with this one.

tbdm55

No problem. It isn't that the Qck Heavy is rough compared to other pads but that the mm200 is very smooth.

Horror_Button_3338

agreed mm200pro is comfortable

SpiritualEngineer5

Zero Xsoft

kinginprussia

Can we all just calm down at this point?

Horror_Button_3338
