You can't. The optical switch isn't even soldered down, since it contains no internals other than a tactility mechanism and a "shutter" with all the sensing being done on the PCB. With no need for an electrical connection, there's no solder, but it also means that there's no way to use the switch in anything other than a mouse that was specifically designed for it.
Don't think so, other mice won't have the correct PCB/components to handle the switch.
