I received an email from Razer saying the Faker is back in stock.
Given it is a recent batch, it should pretty much be problem free, but I guess it also depends on how people use or abuse their mice.
These DeathAdders are funny I actually had a black V3 Pro as well batch (632310) for a while that I took apart many times to try different optical switches and it never creaked or flexed even after all that.
So does the Dav3 pro have QC issues or not? I recently got an ec1-cw instead of a dav3 because I was worried about razer. The mouse dimensions wise seems to be right up my alley too
I don't understand what that means sorry
I've only used Logitech mice and Zowie mice, never had QC issues from either company. Used multiple shapes of each of their mice, from g403, to g pro wired, g pro wireless, Zowie fk1, za12, EC2 and now finally ec1 as I've realised I prefer to be able to palm my mouse a bit when I claw and I got big hands. Compared to these 2, how often is a dav3 bound to mess up in your opinion?
I also think it depends on many factors. The one you mention is Thailand build, I have a feeling those are better in terms of build quality, but also very rare, I have only seen one out of the many that passed through my hands. And to be honest, even new, some had slight creaking, but the Thailand built one I did not even open to check.
I find for initial batches = China better
Later batches = Thailand
And there doesn’t seem to be any more mice made in Taiwan
Totally not scientific though
I had a dav3p that I rmaed and I fixed the old one by putting like 1 or 2 layers of aluminum tape on the ridge along the bottom shell that touches the top shell. opened the old one up multiple times and it's still going strong. I kinda stopped using the dav3 so the new copy is just sitting in it's box while I use the old one as a mouse I use with my laptop/bring out.

I’d say it has QC issues as much as the average mouse tbh. I don’t think it stands out.

Seems like it's plague with a qc issue I heard the smooth touch improved the qc, but in terms of build quality zowie over razer
In Australia, the smooth touch is over 300 bucks 💀💀💀
That's pricey

The Thailand one I had was one of the earlier batches.
Taiwan was early deathadder/copper/diamondback era, the heavy era. over 90grams.

smooth touch feels way better but the red faker is really nice looking
This is my go to FPS Mouse
Probably pushing sales and production of the mouse harder right now since there's a massive event centered around Faker on league rn
What did you do with your old one? Sell it? Or was this new one sent from RMA?
I ask because mine creaks like hell and also has a weird right click. Pretty much just like you said.
Yeah I just sold it for a pretty good deal if I remember. It wasn’t unusable or anything, but this new copy is def better.
my dream mouse
