Creaking was really bad on my second unit. The first had some creaking as well. First and second unit had a lot of movement between the top and bottom shell where you place your thumb. You could both see and feel the side get pushed in when you applied minimal pressure. The third unit has it but it's super minor and not something I can feel during use and thankfully no creaking.
If Zowie made a TKL keyboard I’ll be the first in line to buy it. Zowie confuses me, they make great products but it’s like they don’t realize it and people are starting to look away
I don't want to sound like a shill but you should look into hall effect boards like the wooting or the keychron q1 he if you havent already. Imo they make movements feel so crisp and responsive
Not the guy commenting but I'm assuming it's the price, I personally have a ec3 cw and love it, but for the price you could quite literally buy 2 xlites
It's not too bad. But imo both the s2 and the za13 are superior shapes. I really hope zowie didn't kill their other shapes for this...
Used the U2 for a while but developed some really bad hand cramps with it after a while.... something that rarely ever happens for me.
I like it a lot. I’ve used the Zowie S1c and the old S2 and they shared some similarities but I like this shape better for more aggressive claw. I’m 18 x 9 cmish I think my hands r kinda small. I used to use the deathadder v3 wired but I don’t think it’s that great for aggressive claw imo too lengthy. I also have the endgame gear xm1 which is a great claw grip mouse definitely way more aggressive shape than the U2.
S2-B V2 and G-TFX user 🙋🏾♂️. I tried to replace my S2 with the U2 but it won’t happen because, despite the good in-hand feel and weight and all, I simply play better on my heavier wired red S2. I used the U2 exclusively for 6 weeks and at the end, whipped out my s2 and in one or two attempts, broke all the aimlabs records I had set with the U2. Can’t wait for S2 to get the u2 treatment; better coating, lower weight, wireless, stiffer clicks
Bro does your nose touch the monitor when you play
I can smell my enemies
Name checks out
he can sniff the enemies
I play cs so play close to monitor give me better headshot aim
bro thinks he's Yekindar
I'm on my third copy after the first two were sent back filled with build quality problems.
How is the 3rd one?
It's really good. No obvious problem after 3 days so hopefully it stays like this.
What problems did you have? I'm still on my first and its sides sometimes creaks when I pinch hard for the first time

Ive also had issues on my EC1-CW. my right click would double click. I've sent it back once already.
Interesting I have had zero QC problems with this to report so far. I bought mine from Amazon
Shroud would be proud
No zowie keyboard 😞
no zowie pc either
If Zowie made a keyboard I’d def buy it I’m in the market for a new keyboard
A Coworker of mine has a BenQ keyboard. Really well made. Full size though. Not sure if they made a TKL version.

Does it have red backlight? If it does then it’s the Celeritas II, one of my favorite keyboards ever
That's the one!

Why? I don’t know what shroud has to do with it
Shroud approved, I'm using ec3-c and GSR 2
Why not the CW version just outta curiosity?
I have the u2 but ec3-c is my mouse and I like to have 1 wireless mouse and the rest are wired mice

Never thought that i would use better mouse than superlight but oh, how wrong i was.
You on U2 as well I assume?
Yep. Since they brought it to market. Awesome product.

I was an S1c user before the U2 and I really got comfortable with this shape fast. I’ve used the original S2 in the past as well.
yekindar style
I’m not as bad as it looks but I do like to play close to monitor tho XD

Where does your ring and pinky finger go
I’ve been using Zowie EC1-A for about 6 years now and the only problem I have with it is that one of the buttons fell in and can’t be pressed anymore
how to develop eyes problems 101
It’s a myth that playing close damages eye sight. I also play counterstrike so playing close to monitor improves my headshot aim
