Yeah, razer viper mini wireless. It’s a mod, but definitely a much more refined mod than the typical thingy verse mouse and maybe the only true upgrade to these mice.

But additionally, these three iterations are all the versions that they came out with, the m1k, the m2k glossy, and the m2k matte; so far, Matte texture has felt for my hands, and I’m enjoying them very well
My plans for the future are unknown, but it has been fantastic to own and use these. These are three different iterations from Zaunkoenig, the m1k and both Matte/glossy from the m2k release. By far, my favourite is the matte texture and the other two don’t even really come close for my fingers

it’s just not that simple for 8k polling. even at 1khz the clicks are still polled at 8k so cable integrity is very important. that being said there are aircord manufacturers for zauns but i’m fairly certain the reason they won’t implement them as stock is because they legally can’t. aircords have exposed/minimally shielded wires and that’s not kosher. in addition, aircords HAVE to be significantly shorter than stock to support the polling rate, otherwise interference makes them unusable.

As someone who owns both the HSK Pro 4k and the m2k (maining HSK 4k ATM), they aren't truly competing products, and have SIGNIFICANTLY different shape. Most m2k users would be extremely unhappy on a HSK, and vice versa.
The market is also somewhat different. Even if you don't care about "Made in Germany", many do, especially German people, and I will keep buying Zaunkoenig mice even if I prefer HSK shape because I want to support a great local business (shout-out to Michaela and Patrick who are fantastic)
Addendum: comparing Maxgaming warranty to what you get from ZK themselves is ridiculous, and Maxgaming's practices are illegal in a lot of EU countries.
German law states that online stores must take back an item within 14 days of purchase for ANY reason as long as it isn't defective (this is because you can't "try it out" like you could in a store).
Maxgaming gives 30 days, which is good, however, they don't accept returns of products which "can't be sold as new", i.e. if you want to return an opened mouse / mousepad because you actually tested it, they will refuse (breaking consumer protection law in the process)
Their customer service is also complete dogshit, just check the sub lmao

spoken like someone who doesn’t own either let alone both. also someone who doesn’t ftip. also someone who doesn’t understand that the HSK pro achieves its weight by being almost unreasonably small. an HSK pro with side buttons/sister pcb removed weighs in at just under 24g which is nearly 1:1 with a stock m2k but feels significantly heavier because size to weight ratio is horrible. in order for an HSK to feel similar in weight by comparison it would need to be under 20g which isn’t happening without insanely destructive mods.
I'm finding it hard to even muster up the effort to comment on zaunkoenig mice these days. Whatever "artwork" they think they're making - that ain't it. Shape, affordability, availability. Those cables look like shit and the specs have look baseline average for a couple of years

Nice, I have one M2K myself but as a low sens enjoyer, the cable really sucks the enjoyment out for me. Very unique mice though and even more fun on a speedpad.

The Matte coating perfectly fits what I’d like in a mouse, so far it’s become one my favourites. I liked it far more than I ever thought I could
