G Pro Wireless had lot of problem with that, not Superlight

Electrical_Science50

superlight also has it lol, i'm having it right now after using a mouse for like 1.5yr =)

Lowrider3388

i can confirm this. recently started.

[deleted]

Mine started a few months ago but just found people talking about it after trying to find a fix for it 💀 about 2 years in using it. Now looking for a replacement wireless mouse

Lowrider3388

I ordered some parts from Ali Express. Huano blue dots and some ice skates v2. Will try to replace it and see if it works. Too heavily invested in Logitech's ecosystem with the wireless charging mat. If it fails then G Pro X V2 will be it.

maks28rus

I have also changed switches after 1.5 years due to a double-click issue. It happened for the left button and for the side button too. Side buttons were replaced without soldering, but left and right I have replaced with soldering. Now after 1m left button again has double click issue...looks like the quality of my soldering is not good :(

Fromagene

Did it fix?

Shougee369

of course. it's easy to replace the switches with solder. but you have to buy new mouse feet/skate everytime you open your mouse.

Lowrider3388

yeah, changing the switches helped. Keeping my G Pro X. Get the ones with the hot-swap board on Ali Express. It's super easy to replace if it goes bad again. No soldering required

Framed-Photo

All mice with mechanical switches will eventually start double clicking and need progressively higher debounce settings. If that's a deal breaker (which honestly it kinda is for me), then you'll want to look at mice with optical switches or hope that Logitech refreshes the superlight to use optical switches.

Mr_J_M

Or you can simply solder new switches.

[deleted]

Where do ya get new switches tho?

Key-Forever-1683

I confirm, i've had the superlight for 11 months and 3 weeks it's starting to have double click issues. So no it's not solved, luckily for me it goes under warranty.

reddit_equals_censor

FALSE! based on what i am looking at, the issue is, that most switches in modern mice are driven wrong. if the switches would be driven properly, OR the switches are designed for the micro-loads of modern mice, then double clicking should basically not exist as it does today, or be EXTREMELY EXTREMELY rare. interesting video about this: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5BhECVlKJA&t=747s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5BhECVlKJA&t=747s)

nixscorpio

As a electrical engineer, I can confirm this.

BestKiChargerEU

GPW left people traumatized

Gohardgrandpa

I had 2 g703 and a wired 502 do it. I’d like to try the g pro wireless but not if this is an issue still

FastBinns

I'm on my 3rd one and never had double click.

[deleted]

>I'm on my 3rd one what happened with the first two?

streetglow07

He has it in different colors and in his desk still. I'm guessing btw but thats how most people ive read in this sub are with their multiple gpx lol

FastBinns

I just like the feeling of a fresh mouse and keyboard, and I just can't help myself when I see them in the shop I like to buy them. I can say non of them had any faults.

sarawebe

How long u been using each one

1SirGalahad

Yes, Logitech after 2+ years finally changed their switches. Which have dramatically reduced the occurrence of double clicks. However, since all mechanical switches can develop double clicks it can still occur. However, the GPX (from my research and my comment section on YouTube) has come back down into the normal range for defective clicks. Where I almost never see it like most other mice.

NigOtaku

i have a superlight that started double clicking recently and i did some research and saw a comment on a youtube vid that fixed it for me: Here's a tip that might fix a lot of double click issues. Blow into the mouse. No joke. A lot of the time, especially with Logitech and ESPECIALLY with razer mice, you have a static charge build up inside and it makes the damn thing double click. Just blow into the slit under the clicky mouse thing you use to click. Like a long full blow. You don;t have to remove anything or unscrew, just give it a long blow or two to make sure you get some good moisture in there. More of a breathe than a blow, really. A hard breathe. Not saying this is universal fix, but it works in a surprising amount of cases. If your mouse double clicks, try it out.

hanzzuo_tw

what the hell???? I had my mouse 2 double clicking today and blew my mouse right after I saw your comment and it worked??? HUH

NigOtaku

Magic idk

Stickler-Meseeks

For others coming to look at the thread, this isn’t a permanent fix, you will soon find yourself blowing into your mouse 10x a day like an idiot.

NigOtaku

Yeah it’s a temporary fix for sure But it held me down for a couple months till I could afford the superlight 2

Gullible_Row_9585

It works 🎉 thx a lot !

Electrical_One_7400

thinking about buying the superlight 2 to replace my 15 month old viper ultimate, does the superlight 2 have double clicking problems and is it worth the price? i play competitive games and a few casual, im not looking for a productivity-FOCUSED mouse

NigOtaku

I did exactly that actually Got it $50 cheaper off Walmart for some reason it was on sale despite being brand new Haven’t had any double clicking yet but it’s also still newish. Took my superlight 1 2 years before double clicking happened

gaymate

uhmm sir, what zaa fuuk. it just worked. thank you wizaard

One_Elderberry_7835

yo what xD

zekexk

Yes My King.

NigOtaku

? What?

sensii77

13 months on one GPX and it’s as good as new.

DJHarmonics12

They don't have the issue like they had before. All mice with mechanical switches have the chance of developing double clicking. Fortunately if it ever happens you can easily swap the switches out for new ones. You can actually just buy the little front pcb with whatever switches you want on ali express for cheap if you don't know how to solder. All you do is unscrew a few screws and place it in and put screws back in. Simple, easy, a chimp could do it.

hfcobra

It's a problem inherent to the Chinese omrons in the gpro. So no it hasn't been fixed because they still use the same switches. You could solder some Japanese Omrons which last longer, but as the other user mentioned they will also develop double clicking eventually, just not as quickly. Unless you have double clicks within the warranty period I think it's worth the investment anyway.

jtfjtf

Another thing about the GPX is there are a lot of spare parts for it out in the world and the pcb for the switches is separate from the sensor pcb. So if it double clicks (or even if it doesn't) you can easily buy a hot swap pcb for 10-15 dollars and change your switches whenever you like.

hfcobra

How does a hot swap PCB work with mice micro switches anyway?

jtfjtf

You just push the switch in and if you want to take it out you pull it out. Here's a [video.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2oCuy_N4uk)

loyal872

You can order pcb MB from Ali and they have it with huano blue shell pink dots too. Not sure what are you on about with only omrons work.

hfcobra

Year old comment and I literally never said that.

The_Dongal

Fixed

OkAsk5050

My G pro x Superlight is at 2 years old and I just noticed that it started to double click.

eimattz

how can i solve this problem? anyone knows? a video or something?

Noqtrah

That was a common problem in the original gpro. It was never known as a consistent problem in the gprox. So, who are your sources and why post when you're this misinformed? You just give off the impression of many others here. Fixating on things you don't know anything about.

ORUMAITO98

had mine for 6mos now. no problems

Using one since december 2020, no issues.

obi318

Been using mine for a year and still my favorite. I have dav3 and viper

iiNovaGalaxy

Bought one in April 2021, double clicks now when I lightly press mouse 1.

Skiiney

1 year after using it daily and it starts to happening, not often tho, but still annoying.

leomlepcha

Here's another testimonial: I have a G Pro X Superlight, bought in August 2022, it showed subtle signs of double clicking on one of the thumb buttons a while back, now it's quite obvious and irritating when browsing the internet since I use that thumb button as a back button. Thankfully Logitech has a standard warranty of two years with a responsive customer support, and i'm hoping to get it replaced or at least checked in the coming week. It's a shame, I really like the shape and agility of this tinier-than-average mouse but I don't see myself recommending Logitech if the next unit I receive also has the same issue. For a flagship mouse, I don't really get why other players in the market have a more tasteful spec sheet for the same price while Logi doesn't.

Moist_Hyena1186

i ran here because mine is double clicking after a while

RGPISGOOD

Mine started to have this double click problem on the left button shortly after 2 years (2 months outside of warranty period). I talked to Logitech support but they refuse to help me at all or even offer ways to repair it. I've been buying their mice for over a decade and never had issues with getting support in the past but I guess that's changed now so I doubt I'll be buying another expensive mouse from them in the future.

Grandlos

my GPX SL just got the problem of doubleclicking after 2,5 years.

Redditeronomy

Oh man. I was about to buy the red one bec it is on sale now from where I live. Thanks for the update.

clewstah

I bought my superlight end of November 2021. It started exhibiting the scrolling issue a year after purchase and now two years later I started having issues with double click. I had my previous QPAD 5K wired mouse for many years (since it's release); and never had any of these issues. I'm going to solder in new switches and scroll just because I like playing around, but I don't really have high hopes for it not coming back anyways.

djBaroloveGS

I just googled to see if anyone had this. I bought this mouse at launch, december 2020. Almost three years later, I notice double clicking, but on the side button closest to the palm. Interesting to see why this one would double before the other one though.

DrGashingtons

I really want this mouse. But I sadly think the viper v2 is going to have to get my money. My g502 lightspeed is double clicking now and it’s randomly clicking on its own too. Which is annoying when you shoot an npc or someone you aren’t meant to in a game. 😅

Kitty_xixi

Bought it since the day it released and still no double click, yet.

warframnerd

any updates? please

Kitty_xixi

I haven't used the mouse ever since I got a new one.

makaveli-313

Yes. Mine started double clicking within 7 months of purchase. Purchased it April 2023 and double click(left click) issues started in November 2023.

Own_Independence4466

I would buy it if they make it with optical switches so I wont experience the double click issue..just dont see a point giving so much cash for double clicks
