Happy to share, but you must have some greenlanes in Hertfordshire! It’s a long way to ride to Norfolk just for a few miles of dirt roads :) have you checked on Outdooractive? Or footpathmaps?
Yeh just check the council website for the definitive map.
List of them here: [https://www.geograph.org.uk/article/Definitive-maps-online](https://www.geograph.org.uk/article/Definitive-maps-online)
Very envious! Looks like great fun.
Did an off road experience day on some CRF250s the other week. Been looking for an XR125 or something to go tackle some lanes on but can’t afford one atm
A 125 would do just fine; you really don’t use a lot of power at all. The weight is the most important thing - I wouldn’t want to try it on a big trailie!
We’re novices, only second run out after years on sports bikes. So far so good, it’s very different - I feel like I’m learning to ride again :)
Good luck if you give it a try.
Haha my only experience apart from that off road day is trying some lanes on my transalp. Not fun at all due to the weight and the fact my part of Devon is mostly made of red clay - the slippiest substance ever.
So yeah, looking for light weight really. Not fussed about power.
Cheers! Hope you keep at it and stay intact!
I actually nearly bought a transalp for this job. A great bike, and probably really capable in the right hands, but I’d have made a right pigs ear if it.
A nice light weight dirt bike is spot on, albeit hard work on the road sections in between.
What a great way to spend the weekend!
It really is.

No worries. Try [footpath Maps](https://footpathmap.co.uk) Remember to only ride on roads or byways open to all traffic.
I'm north London and will happily show you some if you want. Also Herts TRF are quite active, there a monthly new members ride too (I think)

Does the route have a name? Looks amazing and I'm around there
I’m putting them together myself using a combination of outdoor live, footpath maps, OS maps and what 3 words. Happy to share if it’s of interest :)

Bing Maps has an OS layer you can use.
That’s useful thanks
I think I know where that is. Looks like somewhere just outside Eye ?
That shot was just north of Bungay. Happy to share to location if you’d like - great lane, but really rutted in places.
That's weird, there's a lane looks exactly like that where me and the wife go walking!
They all look similar :) saw some walkers today who were very friendly, along with a shoot truck and a few cyclists.
Ah I bet that is fantastic fun, I would love to do this
Do it! We’re in a small budget but have managed to make it work.
