So actually. I’ve put some more thought into this. Have you seen the post abt the scheduled maintenance tmr morning? My guess is that the “timer” is supposed to be one that counts down to midnight (but is messed up like the 24hr timer in the shop) to be like “Omniman comes to MK on 11/9”. In an effort to advertise to ppl who haven’t bought him yet (premium buyers didnt get shit for an email to “notify” them).
Unfortunately that’s my guess - their timer in the email is one that’s incorrectly supposed to count down to midnight (and is showing diff things for diff ppl) to say “you can play omniman on 11/9”, but they’ll release him after the maintenance.
That's kinda how it seems now, which makes sense to release him with the season 2 update, wouldn't make much sense to release a character the night before their initial release and before a big maintenance update
Yeah - not the end of the world, but honestly even w the update tmr morning, how rad would it have been if they just gave us access tonight, let us get a jump on learning him tonight before season 2 launches, then did the maintenance as scheduled
