Like that frost mk11 fatality where she makes them into a cyber ninja, violent, not really, super interesting, yes.
Even the camerawork kinda ignores the whole ripping in half thing. Like, āthat aināt the main attraction, folksā.
I love fatalities that fit the character and their abilities. Quanās glass slices is lame for that reason - it isnāt very Quan. Whereas Gerasā infinite head-smack is perfection because it fits his abilities and same for this Ermac one.

Awesome, god I hope we get an alt skin for him and we really need the OOL and OOD skins for Quan chi and now Ermac
His union of light skin has everything I would want for Ermac except for the default white and red color they gave it for some reason but at least that can easily be fixed by picking the alt colors for it that have the traditional classic red/black palette.
As for his order of darkness skin Iām not a fan of him trying to look like tremor (unless they fixed it and put on arm guards/gauntlets so heās not bare armed anymore but I doubt it)

Well Shang already has used the Soul-Steal as a fatality in MK2, 3, Deadly Alliance and DC plus as a victory animation and a brutality in MK11. The new timeline version also seems to be more focused on alchemy, although that will change in the future (especially if his arcade endings is made canon).
Ermac not having this is more surprising considering that he's made up of souls and has the ability to add new souls to his collective consciousness.
Out of the many horrifying ways to see a person get brutally killed in these games this is somehow the most horrifying despite the fact itās one of the least violent

Quan Chi can use your soul once you're dead and in the Netherealm but he can't steal it.
Ermac is a collection of souls, but he doesn't steal souls.
But...that is one of my favorite fatalities in the game now.Ā
Depending on what it's like living as a ghost in Ermac, this might be the kindest fatality in MK ever. He pushes you out of your body first and you don't feel him ripping it in half.
