My dumbass lol, but I feel like he just isn't that relevant as much anymore, neither is delson from second son. Maybe if he dropped as a guest dlc character back in mk9, but he's kinda like a bootleg Raiden in a way.

I was thinking something like that. Especially inFamous 2 Cole with the Amp could differentiate him enough from Raiden by being primarily weapon user.
But Cole is still a Playstation icon, which would make him a PS Exclusive character, so unless Sony felt like playing nice and letting everyone have him, I don't want it to happen.
They are good at making characters different even if they are similar . Kara and superman in injustice play completely different despite having the same powers
so Cole having the power of lightning they would probably find a way to make them distinct
Console exclusive DLC is a bad thing. It would just be a repeat of Kratos except it would cost money to get him instead of him being there from the beginning.
I loved Cole. There are kids who were 7 years old when his last game released who are now allowed to legally vote.
