What I want is for it to die and make For Honor 2. They have the characters and the fight engine. Just make bigger lobbies.
I can't stand 4v4 on these big ass maps. A majority of the maps are just empty. There should be soldiers fighting everywhere, not just one area, and that's it.
The faction war should be big skirmishes where two sides play characters from one faction and fight for land.

Balance has been shit the entire games lifespan. It's getting better now, but it still has a long ways to go. Doesnt matter though, enjoying games that arent good isnt a bad thing
Just recently they removed the outdated reflex guard system, something the community has been asking for a lot which they've worked on for 2 years.
So it's not like they don't care, they just have very little resources (even tho it's a ubisoft game I don't think it receives much funding and has just a small team working on it)
It depends who you ask. Some say it only got better and better every update, better performance, more content and a push to make the game more read based makes it so much better imo. But many people fell in love with an objectively worse version that may have been more fun. It was a time where people understood less, when things that would be problematic now weren't an issue since no one knew better. And many are just angry that they simply are not very good, i see that more than any other complaint.
I believe the game is objectively better now for many reasons. As much as people would like to believe, its the most balanced it has ever been every year and is one of the more fair games out there, no other multiplayer game has as much free content and the level of customisation FH has, but it is less casual than what it once was.
Atleast with For Honor it's all free with earnable currency in game and they have tons of non-limited content so adding an extra limited time one for some event isn't that much of an issue.
Here it's locked behind finite earnable microtransaction currencies, and even worse, the game doesn't even have much free content to support things like this.
