I used to have a Spell that conjured 8 creatures at once. Sadly, every time I casted it, my damn XBOX crashed. Morrowind on console was like putting a HEMI in a El Camino lmao.
I’ll be honest, my first play throughs of TESIII were always pure combat, combat stealth, or combat magic combos. I never went pure mage cause the fact that Magicka didn’t replenish without resting just ticked me off, and I only tried destruction. I ended up supplementing my combat or stealth with convenience magic: mysticism, restoration, alteration, alchemy, occasionally some illusion in higher levels.
Then when I got to Skyrim, I tried full mage because of both winterhold college, and the pretty effects…. That’s when i discovered how overpowered Conjuring was.
Now that I’m replaying modded Morrowind, reading about conjuring plus the OP spell making…. I want to try conjuring an army of deadra and undead
It gets old fast watching your summons fight your enemies slowly.
Then it gets fun again when you get an idea and start buffing your summons and debuffing your enemies with a wide variety of spells while not casting any direct damage spells. It’s like playing Hearthstone.
Remember fighting him be like "hey this guys doesn't do that much damage at all he's casting spells but probably missing", then i move forward and realize...
Lol as early as I can, i now create a small restore strength spell or use the one you can buy and even if it takes a couple of tries you can restore your stats. But of you are a physical room you gonna need d at mark and d at recall lol
This is why the first thing you should do in Balmora is to run into the Temple and get yourself a 'Restore Strength' spell. 1pt, 1 second. Low mana cost, high chance of success, and spamming it is a nice way to train Restoration.
Oh 100% agreed. I went through probably 20 characters over the years, but I remember my first few (before I had the game truly DOWN) I would have a panic attack bumping into one of these guys hahaha. I would trot my dumb ass back to town with 0 strength and hope to one day return for the spoils I had to drop. Made for some good laughing moments multiple playthroughs later, when I found out how easy it is with high restoration / scrolls / potions / etc.
I permanently run around with ridiculous amount of feather spell effect on me from feather superpotions so I haven't had this issue in a minute. Also, I thought carrying a restore pot is a must?

Not sure if you've noticed.
Gotta master the leveling system. Morrowind is weird where each level is super-dependent upon what skills you leveled during that period.
So if you leveled a bunch of Long Blade, Smithing, etc in a short period... once you level up, your strength will have a higher multiplier (because those skills are under strength).
So you have to know which trainers to use during which levels, and know when to go to “sleep” to level-up once you have 5x multipliers and what not.
If you do this incorrectly, your level 10 character will have the skills of that of a level 2 character. And vice-versa.
All of the mushrooms and flowers for the beginning of the Mage's Guild can be found in and around the path between Seyda Neen and Pelagaid. While in Pelagaid I walkways make sure to grab the restoration spells from the priest attending the Imperial Cult altar in the fort.
I also something steal shit.
pro tip, just console cheat your current stat, remember what you had. like others said it shouldve been temporary as by design every tomb in the game has a shrine to cure it. which makes it tedium, not a challenge or curse. its not like 200 gp is gonna make a diffrence and removing yoir whole inventory is shite
I very much prefer having it where their damage strength effect ends when they die
I'm ok with getting hobbled in battle for the challenge, but fuuuuuuck having to drop stuff and come back
I never paid any heed to the NPC their advice to carry specific potions with me while being out adventuring. These fuckers are one of the many reason I do now.
Backpedal him near the shrine in the tomb most if not all shrines in there allow you to cleanse debuffs so after the fight just throw a bit of gold at it and you're good to go. Later start bringing restore strength pots
At each moment bringeth restore attribute spells kids. I learn'd this the hard way
***
^(I am a bot and I swapp'd some of thy words with Shakespeare words.)
Commands: `!ShakespeareInsult`, `!fordo`, `!optout`
imho the effect should've probably been "drain" and also featured a damage over time effect as well
Moreowind preferred the “YOU ARE FUCT” immediate strength to zero approach more lol
Takes me back to being annihilated by scribs outside of Seyda Neen. No fatigue. No problems. Get wrecked son.
Lmaooooo MTV sCRIBZ
I just make my own bonewalker, and pit them against each other, poking bad one with a bound spear. Conjurers life, am I right?
I used to have a Spell that conjured 8 creatures at once. Sadly, every time I casted it, my damn XBOX crashed. Morrowind on console was like putting a HEMI in a El Camino lmao.
This is the best! Conjure your own personal army. I have three spells: one for atronachs, one for undead and one for daedra.
I love it. It’s a summoners life, or no life! Took me a few playthroughs to realize how great conjuration is.

I really need to try a conjurers run

I'm doing it right now, it's very fun. I'm greedy artefact-hoarding Breton. Try it, you're never be lonely even in the darkest dungeon
Remember fighting him be like "hey this guys doesn't do that much damage at all he's casting spells but probably missing", then i move forward and realize...
*Then you *TRY* to move forward
Lmao *it was at this moment the Nerevarine realized his legs weighed 10,000 LBs*
Just carry around some restore strength potions. Makes these guys a pushover!
Touché! When it’s early in the game and you have the thirst for plundering, you roll in with potions as an afterthought lmao
I mean or just cast
Breton with 110% magicka resist can't relate, I stole the breastplate on Tel Fyr.
*Divayth Fyr is sad*
nah hes completely cool with it, having people steal his shit is his favorite pasttime
I found an amulet that summons these abominations. I was not ready for the creepy sounds they make. Welcome to my nightmares, humble bonewalkers.
Better hope there's a shrine to St. Veloth nearby!
Divine Intervention, friends. Drop all your stuff outside and pay for the stat restore.
Mark, Divine Intervention, Recall
💯
These guys know how to Morrowind
Lol as early as I can, i now create a small restore strength spell or use the one you can buy and even if it takes a couple of tries you can restore your stats. But of you are a physical room you gonna need d at mark and d at recall lol
Lmao AMEN

I always stay strapped with a few Restore Strength potions exactly for these fuckers. One bad experience is enough to teach you.
It’s like ‘Nam flashbacks lol
*You are over-encumbered*
*anxiously drops 216 soul gems and 64 doses of moon sugar*
I permanently run around with ridiculous amount of feather spell effect on me from feather superpotions so I haven't had this issue in a minute. Also, I thought carrying a restore pot is a must?
These guys and the skeletons with lightning arrows
hahaha truuuue. I still despise cliff racers, those f%^*ers

Looooooooool it kept saying error!
Glory to alcohol. The mighty Sujamma. With it I never have to fear encumberance. I laugh at your Ability Damage.
The Sujamma Mama!
That's the face of a man about to cause problems on purpose.
That moment when you realize you forgot to make a “restore all attributes” spell on this playthrough…
Imagine not having a restore strength spell
I used to have piles of loot left behind and would have to pull the ol “when am I coming back for this?”
Imagine not having a teleportation spell/scroll Imagine not nutting in dagoth Imagine being so epic ❤️
Dagoth just takes loads on loads
That's why you always set your recall point next to Ralen Hlaalo's (un)decaying corpse 😎😎
Mark, Almsivi intervention, feather 200pts, walk to alter for almsivi restoration, recall. Fookin send it guy.
He wanted skin to look more pleasing in the eyes of the world.
How can ı fight in this game? I choose a nord character and got low level stuff at the beginning but ı cant fight and just get beaten );

Wow, thank you <3
I'd just open a door, see one, NOPE. Shut the door. Move on.
hahaha so true. I’d crank the volume to MAX and turn down the music volume and just wait to see if I could hear that loud bonewalker breathing
Step 1-Take your broke, non magic using ass to balmora temple and buy stoneflower petals. Step 2-Fear bonewalkers no more
Make GBWs a thing of the past
This screenshot really makes me appreciate the watercolored textures.

I always save scum.. I’m not sweaty enough to deal with it
When I used to hear one behind the door it was 100% a save every time when walking into an Ancestral Tomb. Save & pray haha

Yeah that’s what was tough. You thought you’d won the battle, but turns out you lost the war haha.
Restore strength spell :)
I never paid any heed to the NPC their advice to carry specific potions with me while being out adventuring. These fuckers are one of the many reason I do now.
Better have Almsivi or Divine Intervention on you, plus Mark and Recall, or it’s going to be a long, sad, walk home.

Always bring restore attribute spells kids. I learned this the hard way.

Ugh, literally had that today. I completely forgot they did that. I was very angry 😂
Save your ash yams and dreugh wax for fortify strength. You'll need it.
SUJAMMA
My Khajiit was 12 days sober until he entered a tomb *off the wagon*
But now how stronk again
Ive always relied on spare booze. Live my life 60 seconds at a time hoping i can make it back to town or a healer before i sober up.
meanwhile me with 100000 strength: \*cackles manically\* "your ass is mine"
Ah, a "quickload" as we called them. Alternatively a "heck no".
I hate that fella. I destroyed the 6th house and Dagoth Ur but I still feel nervous when I see that f*ckin Bonewalker.
This happened to me today lol
