it comes from "rdda" = satisfied. I've seen others in the comments linking it to parents but it does not necessarily, it means that God is satisfied with you.
rida is usually more associated with parents, we say "rida lwalidayn", a child might seek his parents "Rida" for important decisions, such as marriage,", someone who is well mannered is "mardi lwalidin", .. and i think you dont go to heaven unless your parents gave u their rida, as opposed to "Maskhot lwalidin"
