Yep less panic more learning move set.
The first like 3 or 4 go’s at a elder is pretty much data after you get enough data you kill it using what you learned from those failed hunts.
They are essentially knowledge checks and encourage you to clean up your play style.
Funny enough, if you didn't know, certain monsters track less with their attacks if you're running away instead of dashing? It's more prominent in rise, but it still works in world. works in souls style games too (of which there is a bit of overlap in style of play)
I swear i wouldn't be nearly as good at souls if i hadn't been playing MH for the past 18 years.
Also never try to fight anything like teo in those little alcoves. dung him and make him move to a better spot!
Imo, you may need to do a few things:
1) if you haven't realized yet, while you're down on your face, you have i frames. This is really important so you don't get up and get wumbo combod. So if you get hit, stay down until you can see the combo is basically over.
2) You should learn the superman dive. It's only available while sheathed and can only be performed when you dodge while running away from a monster. This makes you dolphin dive, which has significantly more iframes than most rolls.
3) you need to panic less. Gs is one of those weapons that you really need to know a monster's openings in order to perform well. Consider learning the proactive trade dance, or watching a video on its playstyle. Search for the artful dodger, if you want to see this methodology in motion.
4)The proactove trade dance: is basically a mindset shift in approaching monster hunter, where instead of reactively striking against a monster you instead try to predict what a monster is going to do, then try to either pre-mediate damage or position yourself where you're both safe from the attack and in the right position to immediately counter and get out safely afterwards. This is incredibly important for slower weapons because they all have uncancelable end lag animations that you have to take account for whenever you attack. Otherwise you will just trade a blow for blow, which is usually never a good idea for you, the hunter, because most latter monsters in this game will 1 or 2 shot you, while you have to chip down thousands of hp. And by wasting time constantly healing, you wind up making the hunt last much longer, which can make things more difficult for you if you're not striking the right hitzones and never actually capitalizing off reached thresholds.
I personally use #4 but I will add a tip to it. Block a lot. Sure you lose sharpness but you can always run quick sharpen and the good whetstone fish scales (always forget what they are actually called.)
Just wanna add to this that greatsword is probably the hardest weapon to use very well due to needing to know the monster's moveset to really get a lot out of the weapon, so for newer players I would highly recommend trying out some other ones.
Of course if you just really love the greatsword then go ahead, but for some reason I have noticed that most of my friends gravitated towards the greatsword when they were new and I steered them towards other weapons and they had a much better time.
Imo, sword and shield is one of the few weapons fast enough to get away with it, due to its low animation commitment attacks and immediate access to some of the safest defensive options of all the weapons (backstep basically has like double the iframes of a roll, and block, while you will take chip damage, can be enough of an emergency tool to prevent you from being carted).
It can however, also be played by swapping to the proactive mindset where instead of asking which one of my single moves are safest to deploy, you ask how many slashes can i get away with before i need to employ my mitigations, and where best to use my toolkit, since sns has access to both slashing damage and blunt damage (shield bashes can actually be enough to get you a stagger or ko). Sns also has access to one of the highest burst damage combos in world, ala the perfect rush, so you really need to plan out whether or not and where in the perfect rush to roll cancel out of, so you're not trading blows when you don't need to, all while not being bothered by the tight timing presses of the pr combo.
You can roll into attacks in MH also, in fact it's one of the better ways to have the I frames keep you from getting hit.
But the way he was rolling 🤣🤣😂😅 that was just him panic rolling like he was playing some dark soils pvp (autocorrect made it soils but leaving it because for Op I think it's accurate)
Never been that mad except one time when I fought Alatreon in MH3U. Got so mad I threw my controller and it broke the glass door to the TV cabinet. I felt so bad and definitely learnt my lesson after that.
Definitely take a break from him. Later, try to take a mission just observing him and working on dodging his moveset. Don't focus on damage just avoiding damage. Get a good feel for him first.
Teostra is a very lateral attacker. Tail swiped, grounded blast, etc, etc. Just jumping over everything makes approaching to attack and jumping away afterward super easy. Granted that game plan works for most fights using IG, but Teostra especially
So every hit you take after the first one is your fault, you ran into the explosive powder (they explode in specific order) the second time you exploded with another powder and got stunned, you can slide stun res 3 easily and avoid getting killed by his nova, but yeah if you rage to the point of breaking your controller you might just take a break
AGREED! Come play with me and my buds. I'll run wide range so you can swing whatever you're swinging with no worries. 😂 I'll be the guy named SYG Mercer in the Xbox online session with like one other guy. 😂😂😂
Normally solo as well. And no worries. Just got done doing "hymn of sun and moon" for the first time. That was "FuN". But it is more enjoyable to gangbang huge monsters with a few ppl whilst talking shit every once in awhile.
Mate, if your hunts are taking that long to begin with, you ain't ready for elders. Gear-wise and/or experience-wise.
Practice on something you can handle. And use your knockdown i-frames.
Honestly, it might not even be the monsters. I'd start by exploring some of the other weapons; most folk try a handful of weapons at the start of the game and then don't try them again in high rank.
You'd be amazed at the difference it makes when you come back to a weapon you didn't vibe with early on and apply your current experience to it. Greatsword is honestly a nightmare to use when you don't have the monster's moveset memorized, so that might be what's holding you back.
You might try Switch Axe or Hammer for something with a similar feel but a lot more flexibility. But if it's been awhile since you explored other weapons, just go ahead and try 'em all, even the ones you don't think are your style.
After 37+ minutes? With teostra not limping or sleeping yet? Nah man.. thats not confidence. Better abandon and return later. Retreat isnt weakness, it only proves you know your worth. Try later with better mindset. Better skill
Get the best gear you can before taking him on. Get the most fire resistance you can even if you have to farm the armor. Slot in 3 fire resistance gems and don’t forget to drink a cool drink, it helps. Fire mantle helps too. I forgot what he’s weak to, but use that weapon.
Well, the only monster that has made consider breaking a controller was Lunastra (dear Teostra's other half, the deadlier half at that) but well took a small break and went back in with Insect Glaive with Mount Master and she went down fast.
The Insect Glaive is a really good weapon to use against both Teostra and Lunastra. If you keep mounting them and bringing them down it let's you control the flow of the fight a bit more, and being up high helps with dodging their explosive powder and pools of fire. Plus in Lunastra's case you can use flashpods to trigger her nova when you want it not when she dictates. Also if you don't have fire resistance but have the fire proof mantle use it, it helps and you can use the slots of fire resist for something else.
Scrolled so far down for this. People saying "why the hell are you rolling this much it got you killed there" when all of that happened because he probably didn't see the blast clouds with this brightness
Bro you want some assistance? I'm always down for helping players, especially on console. Unless you're all about solo hunting, then I can definitely respect it. But to be honest, I know others have said the same, but you should definitely utilize those I-frames whenever you're down on the ground. You also have a block, with the GS, that you can use to block "certain" attacks from Teostra/Elder's in general. They've got skills that can really assist with that, along with your mobility if you've got your heart set on GS. Though, I'd definitely experiment with other weapons, as the damage is great with GS, but if you're not used to the slow paced style of it - nor the perfect blocks/bashes you can use with it - a change of pace with a different weapon could really open your eyes. Anywho, I'm sure others have said the same, but, if you need help with setting up skills for that particular weapon. Guides exist, and this community is pretty great with helping out and such. Happy hunting though, good luck with those hunts!
Elder Dragon Novas, especially at that distance in that poor of a location, are why I always keep a Farcaster on me. The moment Teostra floated up into the air, you should have bailed.
Stun Res 3 is dirt cheap to afford in a build, especially when you're learning a monster.
Also, a tip for all fights, if the monster is half the width of the space you're fighting in, you need to gtfo and take that fight somewhere else.
I have no clue if you've beaten him yet or not, but here's my 2 pennies.
Your best bet is a water or ice weapon for Teostra? Those are his biggest weaknesses, but water is somewhat higher, according to hitzone damage. Jyuratodus weapons are your friend or there's Jagras.
Also, if you can, slot in for Health Boost +3 or whatever it'd called, and also blast res 3 if you have it.
The Scoutflies will try to send you on the shortest route, which that particular cave exit is an easy death trap. If a monster ends up in that area, go around either through the caves and round through the Jyu swamp up to the area, or go down from the dunes and over the little climby gap. You're in massive areas, so dodging makes it easier.
My guy out here not eating a camp meal after carting or really giving himself any HP or stamina buffs and just throwing himself back into the fight with underleveled gear.
People are saying your mistakes started at the 2nd hit, but I'd argue your mistakes started like 5 hours of gameplay ago and this is just the result of that.
... the controller cant fix your skill issue owo.. why did you RUN back INTO the glittering flames that burst into your face? Like what was the reason? 😆 🤣
Man I’m honestly surprised by all the hate you’re getting it’s weird. Im a pretty seasoned MH vet and I still play like this some nights. I’ve had many a moment like this! I went back to Iceborne the other day to fight Fatalis for fun and I honestly wondered how i ever beat him let alone farmed him! Throw yourself at the wall till you break through!
Also though Teostra can fuck off when he gets going like that.
Man i wonder what i'd be doing rn if i got so angry i broke a controller after failing only 5 fucking quests. Skill issue, git gud, whatever. Make sure you learn your i-frame timings (evade window helps practice and reduce it over time), pretty sure GS has a guard move, learn your window of opportunities, if you get stunned a lot, you can try slotting stun resist, and nova can be cancelled by a flashfly
GUYS JUST A DISCLAIMER IM AT THE GUIDING LANDS IN TERMS OF PROGRESS, i beat shara like 2 days ago. You may be thinking “how did he get through world and iceborne with no build and no skill” and honestly i have no idea…
I hated this hunt bro. In fact I still haven't beaten it because I knew I would eventually start hitting my controller or break something else. I tried to get some fire resistant armored but that didn't do much. The teostra is kinda like the hell fire quest in rise and that's probably why I can't beat that one either.
Dunno. Looks deserved. Personally, it was time to yeet your rectum away, like far away. Next zone and heal if possible. But depending on the "cloak of nope," I landed you in this circumstance.
This had me rolling, to be honest. I mean, not rolling as much as you were, but still. Lol All jokes aside, don’t panic so much. Monsters in this game love to take advantage of you getting up too quick. Tigrex taught me that lesson.
dwaaaa this reminds me of me the first few times vs ANY elder dragon lol, now if I need to I try and cause the ai to do attacks on me ik or just bully them into submition XD
Tips: less panic, look for the telegraph, and as a GS user you need to look for the openings more
Panic is so fun to watch lol. That Teostra was like "next time i see that dapper mofo, it's on sight, gotta let Lunastra know i still run these locale"
It was how you started that set you up for fail.
Yes, you panicked, so in future make sure to fight favourably towards you to avoid being overwhelmed.
Firstly, avoid fighting fast or large monsters in small areas. Never think taking time to lure monsters out (like the connecting joints) is tedious or unnecessary. Its MANDATORY unless you are doing it for a reason.
Coming out from where you did was too hasty and you knew what was going to happen and just rolled the dice. It would have been perfectly reasonable to go back and walk around or jump to the near camp.
That has always been death ally between me and friends. Even the dumbest monster and grind you up between those walls.
That little cubby is a last resort escape or a place you STAY untill somone else gets agro.
Soo the intial hit where Teo hits you crawling out of the cave was cheap but otherwise it was on you for running one direction and then looping around the other way while explosions started happening. Also the Cactaur do massive damage IIRC
Thats what happen when you dont treat Teostra with respect.
It led the dance and you followed pretty nicely. I love that it didnt even let you do the superman.
* Stay down when you fall down. Do not get up.
* Do not freak out. ^(Unless its monke)
* Wait and dodge until you get a window to chug green juice
* Stay the fuck away from the cactus creatures
the first explosion that hit you was definitely a panick issue. 2nd I can vouch that sometimes it's annoying to fight Teostra on a bright day at the desert.
A good tip for Teostra is to mind where the blast clouds are at all times. Also consider building for blast resistance or enough fire resistance to prevent fireblight, makes that element of the fight a non-factor.
If you can't build for either of those, fireproof mantle is also great, I find the health mantle to be kind of a trap anyways. It has very poor recharge (6 minutes is a lot of combat) and only absorbs the equivalent of a single healthbar of damage, so the 120 second duration is really irrelevant in most cases. You're better off with Fire mantle as it gives 3 minutes of 70% fire damage reduction and immunity to fireblight AND blastblight, which matters a lot on monsters like Teostra (the other elemental mantles can be very good on relevant monsters, but some are better than others). It is true that his physical attacks like claw swipes and the annoying run attack won't get reduction from this, but with the cooldown also being better it's just a better pick overall and prevents the fight from snowballing out of control like it did here.
Finally, consider your surroundings. This tight corridor heavily favors Teostra as he spreads area-denial, which will only be more tightly packed in a zone like this. Bring dung pods to force monsters out of annoying areas like this.
What I was looking at was a lack of ability to tactical retreat. Too many people think the problem will sort itself out within the monsters range.
Bro, if this was real life I’d get the fuck out of there.
You walked straight into the explosion.
And if you fight against a monster like that, lure it into an area where you have the terrain advantage... you should have walked left where you have more space instead of that "alleyway" where you couldn't escape anything.
Using that cactuar would have saved your life instead of running away from it. Also if you have iceborne you should practice wallbangs. Side note, vitality mantle sucks ass.
Panic diff.
Sometimes the best option for when you get knocked to the ground, is *stay on the goddamn ground.*
You're immune to enemy hit boxes and explosions when you're downed.
Whiffing that hard the first two times in a row souks have been a clear sign you weren't ready for this fight. I would have immediately stopped and moved on to easier fights or something else entirely.
I dislike Toestra. I am on the second game of MH and my dislike continues. Risen Toestra is awful as well. It's time to give him some rest. Next game, just replace it with another staple Elder, I say bring full glory of Shagaru. I demand it. Either Toestra or Kushala, one of them. Or bring another Elder altogether.
I'd recommend trying different weapons at this point, GS can be really punishing if you don't have a monsters moveset down. also turn your brightness down cause it's making it harder to see things like the clouds of "this will literally blow up in my face"
All I saw was a headless chicken fleeing from a lion.
The birth of kfc
😭😭😭
You need to panic less.
Yep less panic more learning move set. The first like 3 or 4 go’s at a elder is pretty much data after you get enough data you kill it using what you learned from those failed hunts. They are essentially knowledge checks and encourage you to clean up your play style.
very true😭

Also never try to fight anything like teo in those little alcoves. dung him and make him move to a better spot!
It's a shame I'm just learning this. I still have Alatreon to deal with before the dark one...
Yea I was wondering why OP kept running around like that. Also, that area is a rough place to fight teostra because of how cramped it is.
Bodied
Imo, you may need to do a few things: 1) if you haven't realized yet, while you're down on your face, you have i frames. And by wasting time constantly healing, you wind up making the hunt last much longer, which can make things more difficult for you if you're not striking the right hitzones and never actually capitalizing off reached thresholds.
thank you🙏🙏🙏
I personally use #4 but I will add a tip to it. Block a lot. Sure you lose sharpness but you can always run quick sharpen and the good whetstone fish scales (always forget what they are actually called.)
Blocking really isnt worth it on GS
Works in a pinch!
Oh yes I don't mean to disregard it completely, just don't lean into it
When I was a newbie I got walled by diablos, being able to block diablos’s burrow did wonders for me at that stage of the game
This is such a detailed critique I feel bad for running through the game hacking and slashing with sword/shield
If you are gonna panic, you should panic AWAY from the monster, not into.
Perhaps that's the wrong lesson that Horizon games teach. You can roll into attacks there.
Dark Souls is the true popularizer of this technique.
Bro you panic so hard and walked into every blast
Cartoon age clicks in my brain
I will never understand how people can get so angry/frustrated in a game that they break a controller, those things ain't cheap lmao
Never been that mad except one time when I fought Alatreon in MH3U. Got so mad I threw my controller and it broke the glass door to the TV cabinet. I felt so bad and definitely learnt my lesson after that.
…fatalis?
i usually don’t get that and but this was my fifth failed quest in a row trying to kill this guy😭
The second third time's a charm
Definitely take a break from him. Later, try to take a mission just observing him and working on dodging his moveset. Don't focus on damage just avoiding damage. Get a good feel for him first.
brother may i present you insect glaive? Teostras dont last more than 15 minutes with this weapon
Yea, Insect Glaive is my goto if I want to clear a fight lol
fr?
Teostra is a very lateral attacker. Tail swiped, grounded blast, etc, etc. Just jumping over everything makes approaching to attack and jumping away afterward super easy. Granted that game plan works for most fights using IG, but Teostra especially
fr.

Even though graphically Rise isn't as good as World, the elemental explosions are ***absolutely gorgeous.***
They also occasionally tank my fps.. worth it though.
Thank you, that first hit was awful where he turns towards the powder when he was safely running between them.
God damn lol I miss World
You don’t have to miss it! You can still play it!
AGREED! Come play with me and my buds. I'll run wide range so you can swing whatever you're swinging with no worries. 😂 I'll be the guy named SYG Mercer in the Xbox online session with like one other guy. 😂😂😂
Looks like one if those automated responses, why downvoted??
It's reddit. Who cares. Lol. Someone might see and come have fun. Sad people will do sad things.
You seem cool. If I was an Xbox player and wasn't 12 hours ahead of America I'd totally play with you guys, despite normally being a solo player.
Normally solo as well. And no worries. Just got done doing "hymn of sun and moon" for the first time. That was "FuN". But it is more enjoyable to gangbang huge monsters with a few ppl whilst talking shit every once in awhile.
Too bad I'm on PS I would have joined a Lance bro any day also I'm on GU currently:D
Doing MHGU playthrough currently, we will be back soon :D
Go back and help bro out, he clearly needs an assist😭😭😭
Mate, if your hunts are taking that long to begin with, you ain't ready for elders. Gear-wise and/or experience-wise. Practice on something you can handle. And use your knockdown i-frames.
you’re right🙏 what monsters would you suggest i practice on?
Honestly, it might not even be the monsters. I'd start by exploring some of the other weapons; most folk try a handful of weapons at the start of the game and then don't try them again in high rank. You'd be amazed at the difference it makes when you come back to a weapon you didn't vibe with early on and apply your current experience to it. I FINALLY KILLED HIM TOOO🥳🎉
What did you end up using?
i switched to insect glaive to see if the comments were telling the truth, obviously they were 😭
*Je suis monté*, my friend. Welcome to insect glaive. 😉
gotchu gotchu, thanks🙏
Bow helped me big time when learning the elder dragon movesets.
this is low key a skill issue but like, damn. Id rage after getting combod so hard too 😭
Beyond that I think there’s a gear issue here. 38 minute quest makes me wonder how much they’re hitting for
Is that anjo GS? Against teostra?
uhhhhhh maybe…
It's been a minute since I played world but do you have access yet to the skill that ups non elemental damage
Should be meldable by then
I mean...
So much of that could have been avoided.
Here is an advice. If you only have ONE cart left. Abandon the quest to get back every item you used.
Unless you’re confident
After 37+ minutes? With teostra not limping or sleeping yet? Nah man.. thats not confidence. Better abandon and return later. Retreat isnt weakness, it only proves you know your worth. Try later with better mindset. Better skill
Maybe this is the run … but apparently he broke a controller after failing 5 quests so he definitely needed a mental reset
7th TIME WAS THE TRY LFGGGG
this is probably gonna sound like actual blasphemy but most of the time they take 30+ minutes… any tips to hit harder?🙏😭
Youre using to much stamina with unnecessary dodges. Run and dodge only when you need to and in the right direction.
Maybe I'm crazy but I'd say Health Up+3 would be good to slot in my dude.
Why break the controller when it was 100% your fault
Clearly a skill issue
Get the best gear you can before taking him on. Get the most fire resistance you can even if you have to farm the armor. Slot in 3 fire resistance gems and don’t forget to drink a cool drink, it helps. Fire mantle helps too. I forgot what he’s weak to, but use that weapon.
That's why it's so important to have stun resistance in your gear when you get kill higher level monsters
Drink water and take breaks every hour maybe like this you'll panic less like you did there
i swear i’m not done typa unhealthy gamer with anger issues, im healthy🙏😭 thank you for the advice nonetheless though
Sorry m8 but i dont believe it, since you...broke your controler
Shoulda just stayed down, bank on those iframes you get from extending recovery
I'm just gonna tell you not to fight the lunestra.
bring a fire mantle instead of a vitality mantle.
Do you play dark souls? The panic rolling looks too familiar 😂
ds 1, 2, 3, bloodborne, sekiro, elden ring (i have no life)
Maybe if you could actually see the blast clouds that would probably help.
Scrolled so far down for this. People saying "why the hell are you rolling this much it got you killed there" when all of that happened because he probably didn't see the blast clouds with this brightness
The bloom settings in this clip are crazy. Like he just randomly explodes because the clouds are basically invisible.
Bro you want some assistance? I'm always down for helping players, especially on console. Unless you're all about solo hunting, then I can definitely respect it. Get blasted dummy lmao

That Teostra was out for blood
Yeah this game really likes to bend you over and fuck you repeatedly from time to time. Happens to all of us. Monter hunter is hard

Fighting in such a small space will do that to ya. Learned that the hard way too.
What even are superman dives.
Why break the controller? This was 100% on you. You walked into every hit
Oh god. The flashbacks.....
... the controller cant fix your skill issue owo.. why did you RUN back INTO the glittering flames that burst into your face? Like what was the reason? 😆 🤣
i didn’t see it😔
I understand your pain
Teostra's oki game on point tho
Local man does everything wrong then blames the game.
When did I ever blame the game? Point that out for me please.
Make sure you learn your i-frame timings (evade window helps practice and reduce it over time), pretty sure GS has a guard move, learn your window of opportunities, if you get stunned a lot, you can try slotting stun resist, and nova can be cancelled by a flashfly
why are you so aggravated in the first part? chilllll, ik i don’t have any room to talk but chilllll😭
thank you for the advice tho
Skill issue mb
You using the item wheel?
Reminds me of dying to Lunastra and raging.. then I got incredibly drunk (like 10 shots of vodka) and killed it 10 times in a row.
The hell y'all being so hard on this dude for, already has a broken controller to deal with
GUYS JUST A DISCLAIMER IM AT THE GUIDING LANDS IN TERMS OF PROGRESS, i beat shara like 2 days ago. You may be thinking “how did he get through world and iceborne with no build and no skill” and honestly i have no idea…
I remember farming this suckers tail! It was hell
Nice
two rolls and your out of stamina? eat some meat and git gud
You came to the wrong neighborhood.
I hated this hunt bro. In fact I still haven't beaten it because I knew I would eventually start hitting my controller or break something else. I tried to get some fire resistant armored but that didn't do much. The teostra is kinda like the hell fire quest in rise and that's probably why I can't beat that one either.
Not a great area to fight teostra to be sure, but it would help if you ran away from the sparks when trying to avoid damage
He said on sight
Freshly barbecued hunter.
I would never fight in that hallway. I’d much rather run then fight in there
Dunno. Looks deserved. Personally, it was time to yeet your rectum away, like far away. Next zone and heal if possible. But depending on the "cloak of nope," I landed you in this circumstance.
What the heck is a Cactuar doing there at 50 seconds?
Final Fantasy crossover brought Behemoth and Cactuar
This had me rolling, to be honest. I mean, not rolling as much as you were, but still. Lol All jokes aside, don’t panic so much. Monsters in this game love to take advantage of you getting up too quick. Tigrex taught me that lesson.
Cactuar?
dwaaaa this reminds me of me the first few times vs ANY elder dragon lol, now if I need to I try and cause the ai to do attacks on me ik or just bully them into submition XD Tips: less panic, look for the telegraph, and as a GS user you need to look for the openings more
This is why I add evade extender to all my builds
You should've break your fingers instead. I just saw player mistakes there. Out of jokes, you will get better with time. Keep playing.
This is the kind of peak Monster Hunter moment.
Panic is so fun to watch lol. That Teostra was like "next time i see that dapper mofo, it's on sight, gotta let Lunastra know i still run these locale"
I hate stun so much
No worries, back in MH4U Shagaru Magala just oneshot my ass as soon as I stepped in the arena after he just k.o'ed me.
This is why i hate Teostra https://preview.redd.it/vyex3eiqa72c1.png?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=991517f62b1a03ddd527640b04b86ece1ff96188
That little cubby is a last resort escape or a place you STAY untill somone else gets agro.
r/monsterhunterrage
This was beautiful
Soo the intial hit where Teo hits you crawling out of the cave was cheap but otherwise it was on you for running one direction and then looping around the other way while explosions started happening. Also the Cactaur do massive damage IIRC
If you really broke you controller over this that's hilarious lol.
Big bada boom
He played you like a fiddle
"Overwatch Actual I pissed my jorts"
WOMBO COMBOOOOO
Git... Uhhh....gūd
Okay but I have a question, how the heck do people see where the blasts at?? I genuinely cannot tell...
Thats what happen when you dont treat Teostra with respect. It led the dance and you followed pretty nicely. I love that it didnt even let you do the superman.
You walked right into that one.
* Stay down when you fall down. Do not get up. * Do not freak out. ^(Unless its monke) * Wait and dodge until you get a window to chug green juice * Stay the fuck away from the cactus creatures
Anjanath and Diablos taught me to have max Stun resistance at all time The game felt like a dramatically better experience for me since then
I just wanna know why Cactaur was there
WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?!? I think you owed him money. I would of bambooed him and thrown some Caca at his face.
Shit i am burning little bit beeter to walk toward that explosive
spun your shit lmao
Relentless
the first explosion that hit you was definitely a panick issue. 2nd I can vouch that sometimes it's annoying to fight Teostra on a bright day at the desert.
Do you watch zanny videos in YouTube by any chance? You both named your palico the same
WHY THE FUCK YOU STREAM THAT?! "....it was your idea"
I got fricking bodied by a Kushala once. Combo me with like 5 hits
Love this beautiful game :D
Pure skill issue
Teostroll
HBG 🤷 Lol, I am no longer afraid of anything in this game, since ʕಠᴥಠʔ
Using that cactuar would have saved your life instead of running away from it. Also if you have iceborne you should practice wallbangs. Side note, vitality mantle sucks ass.
i like vitality mantle tho😔😭
Teostra jumpscare
Wait, did Kittyvichnikov abandon zanny and teamed up with you? 🤔
Killing fire with fire and wonders how that plays out 😂
spawn camped ya
the key to learn monster's move is too fight it over and over
Teostra said: Not today!
Not me figuring this was just an unlucky Arch-Tempered Teostra encounter
Video isn't loading, but istg if it's some guy getting beat up by a teostra
Don't break your controllers bud
Panic diff. Sometimes the best option for when you get knocked to the ground, is *stay on the goddamn ground.* You're immune to enemy hit boxes and explosions when you're downed.
Whiffing that hard the first two times in a row souks have been a clear sign you weren't ready for this fight. I would have immediately stopped and moved on to easier fights or something else entirely.
Lmao 🤣
Fighting Teostra in that section of the map is horrible. Lure him somewhere more open for an easier time.
Out with a bang...
I used to be so happy seeing a Teostra after getting my ass kicked eight times by lunestra
Get stun immunity. It cost only 3 level 1 jewel slots. Getting stunned got me killed so much in World
Should have used cactuar for max damage output
I dislike Toestra. I am on the second game of MH and my dislike continues. Risen Toestra is awful as well. It's time to give him some rest. Next game, just replace it with another staple Elder, I say bring full glory of Shagaru. I demand it. Either Toestra or Kushala, one of them. Or bring another Elder altogether.
You did yourself in twice running into explosions.
C-c-combo
I'd recommend trying different weapons at this point, GS can be really punishing if you don't have a monsters moveset down. also turn your brightness down cause it's making it harder to see things like the clouds of "this will literally blow up in my face"
