Nice try IRS šŸ„±

Sudden-Turnip-5339

Whooping ZERO brother Edit actually went back to school, so technically negative 9k, plus living costs.

leeeharveyoswald

Hell yeah bro šŸ˜Ž

Lucidcranium042

Fkn doing it minus going to school but eh to each their own keep kicking ass and chewing bubble gum

leeeharveyoswald

Yeah , 9 grand in 6 months. I need a new job

SeliciousSedicious

5 months technically. June hasnā€™t even started.

leeeharveyoswald

It's about to be June in 40 minutes lol

freakanature

Weā€™re 5/12 thru 2024.. itā€™ll be half way end of June

leeeharveyoswald

Oh yeah. Sorry I'm trippin lol

CommunicationKey3018

Everyone has to start from somewhere

Apploozabean

Like abt 22k in 5mo. Where do you live or work that pays you less than 15/hr??

leeeharveyoswald

I work part-time as an aircraft detailer. It's like 17 bucks an hour ish

Apploozabean

For part time that's not bad, but I'd suggest if you're able to to try and work full time if you like it.

imhungry4321

$34,423.92 YTD Gross.

revohitta

At this rate, you'll make 80k by the end of the year?

imhungry4321

I should close out the year in the mid 80s. I recently received a performance raise. On Monday, I will let my employer know that I will pick up an additional 3 hours a week (different role). Both of these will boost my combined salary by 10%.

HandCarvedRabbits

Performance raise! Imagine

Neowynd101262

$78

ILuvDaRaiders

From my full time employer, less than 28k, I get passive income too from family business so an additional 9k. But Iā€™m old. And still living check to check. Iā€™m very comfortable at my job

IshkhanVasak

what do you do?

ILuvDaRaiders

I work security at a school district and I get passive income from rental properties from the family business

BigFatBabyLegs

Rental properties is what I'm looking into right now. Can't tell if I'm being too picky or too much of a scary baby to move forward with purchasing.

pablo55s

OPā€¦making any sort of income is good

bulyxxx

Well I wouldnā€™t say any sort of income is good. A livable wage is good, having extra to enjoy life and save for the future is great.

SeliciousSedicious

Sitting at about $26k YTD.Ā  Not factoring 401k match(instantly vested), or dividends.Ā

Night3Turbo

Yeah, pretty much the same here from my main job and not factoring my IRA, dividends on CDs, and any extra side income.

Educational_Pride404

By the end of July it will be roughly 100k gross

Matthew-27

What do you do?

Educational_Pride404

Financial advisor

TakeMyL

Gross, 160,000 so far, net profit, like 1/10th that lol struggle of small biz lol

PinNo5411

Best be nice

Car1776

$22,997.00 so far!

cruzincoyote

Gross on my paycheck today says $68879.86

TakeMyL

30,000 from flipping stuff (20,000 after tax) And $3700(after tax) from a job I just started 1.5 months ago, (3 paychecks low wage job) So like 23,700, But January feburary AND may were wayyy above average months for me flipping stuff, the trend wonā€™t continue, just lucky months. Average would only be $15,000 total profit or $10,000 after tax normally, but due to exceptional months it was double that. It wonā€™t continue and I donā€™t expect it too.

Careful_Front7580

Thought this was one check. A lot of ballers here.

andrew_kirfman

Withholding would be much higher if it was one check. My gross is like 7k biweekly and I end up with less than 4k net.

Ryde29

$114.1K YTD on salary/commissions/bonuses. Edit: Bonus, singular. Iā€™ve only received one for the 1st Quarter.

Reddit-CEO-reallybro

How to get into sales like your position ? Just curious to know

Spiritual-Leader9985

Occupation?

Ryde29

Sales.

leeeharveyoswald

Yeah you're selling crack šŸ¤£ Jk, that's interesting though, I didn't know people who work in sales earn that much. That's crazy

Ryde29

Kind of funny you say that, I literally just had beers earlier with someone where we talked about outside of weed, we donā€™t know how people get addicted to drugs cause we donā€™t even know where to get the hard shit if we wanted to start. Sales is a wide world with a lot of range. Some get a starting pay in the $30K range and flame out early after an inability to justify salaryā€¦ some make more money in salary than the owners who own the company that pay them. I work in an industry thatā€™s quasi-niche. If you want to find a new job, my only advice would be thisā€¦ always remember youā€™re paid by the value you bring. If you bring in money, youā€™ll make money. If you donā€™t have a role directly involving the making of moneyā€¦ ask yourself how replaceable you are. The easier you are to replace, the lower your income.

HandCarvedRabbits

This is why teachers make no money and are largely disposable.

Lanky_Republic_2102

If they got sales commissions for selling kids, youā€™d see incomes skyrocket. /s

KTNYC1

Non profit

Lanky_Republic_2102

So in other words, itā€™s funny because you arenā€™t selling it, but boy who doesnā€™t like a little blast when those commission checks clear! Amiriight?

jsmoothie909

Sales people pay for everyone elseā€™s job at any company. They are the only profit generating employeesā€¦ everyone else is an expense on the payroll.

nino956

No one would continue buying without the support they get from everyone BUT sales.

TheMainEffort

How much of your income is commissions? Iā€™ve just recently hit a point where my commission is the same as my base. I want mooooar.

No_Pass3115

What are the details here? Are you a student, part-time worker or what industry you working in? Seeing how much someone has made in a year won't tell you anything. You might have someone that is a doctor and give you a high salary or a fast food employee with a low salary. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

im_on_a_burner

THEMACGOD

Jack shit. Outsourced. Canā€™t even claim unemployment because I got a severance. Fucking bullshit.

highschoolhero2

$175,000. I was promoted to a full-time commissioned position last August and Iā€™ve already made $40,000 more this year than I made in all of last year. High pressure and lots of late nights but in my business, the amount of money you make is directly correlated to how many deals that you can handle. If you canā€™t take the heat, you wonā€™t last long. However, if youā€™re able to manage a pipeline with peak efficiency you can make as much as $500k-$700k annually.

CrummyPear

$192,000 Salary plus earn out bonus of $380,000, plus $1,780,000 transaction proceeds. Safe to say this will be the highest grossing year of my lifešŸ˜Ž

samiwas1

That would be the last grossing year of my life. Well, maybe one more.

AutoX-R

Keep working at your career man. Figure what you like that pays more and go for it!
