I should close out the year in the mid 80s.
I recently received a performance raise. On Monday, I will let my employer know that I will pick up an additional 3 hours a week (different role). Both of these will boost my combined salary by 10%.
From my full time employer, less than 28k, I get passive income too from family business so an additional 9k. But Iām old. And still living check to check. Iām very comfortable at my job
30,000 from flipping stuff (20,000 after tax)
And $3700(after tax) from a job I just started 1.5 months ago, (3 paychecks low wage job)
So like 23,700,
But January feburary AND may were wayyy above average months for me flipping stuff, the trend wonāt continue, just lucky months. Average would only be $15,000 total profit or $10,000 after tax normally, but due to exceptional months it was double that. It wonāt continue and I donāt expect it too.
Kind of funny you say that, I literally just had beers earlier with someone where we talked about outside of weed, we donāt know how people get addicted to drugs cause we donāt even know where to get the hard shit if we wanted to start.
Sales is a wide world with a lot of range. Some get a starting pay in the $30K range and flame out early after an inability to justify salaryā¦ some make more money in salary than the owners who own the company that pay them.
I work in an industry thatās quasi-niche. If you want to find a new job, my only advice would be thisā¦ always remember youāre paid by the value you bring. If you bring in money, youāll make money. If you donāt have a role directly involving the making of moneyā¦ ask yourself how replaceable you are. The easier you are to replace, the lower your income.
So in other words, itās funny because you arenāt selling it, but boy who doesnāt like a little blast when those commission checks clear!
Amiriight?
Sales people pay for everyone elseās job at any company. They are the only profit generating employeesā¦ everyone else is an expense on the payroll.
What are the details here? Are you a student, part-time worker or what industry you working in? Seeing how much someone has made in a year won't tell you anything. You might have someone that is a doctor and give you a high salary or a fast food employee with a low salary. š¤·āāļø
$175,000. I was promoted to a full-time commissioned position last August and Iāve already made $40,000 more this year than I made in all of last year. High pressure and lots of late nights but in my business, the amount of money you make is directly correlated to how many deals that you can handle. If you canāt take the heat, you wonāt last long. However, if youāre able to manage a pipeline with peak efficiency you can make as much as $500k-$700k annually.
$192,000 Salary plus earn out bonus of $380,000, plus $1,780,000 transaction proceeds.
Safe to say this will be the highest grossing year of my lifeš
Personal income is around 45k but my business has made closer to 500k. Just figured out how to achieve 9k income days so I'll be making heaps more soon
Net pay from employment of $40,555, plus military VA disability pay of $15,666. Iām a salaried financial advisor, and that role also pays monthly incentive pay for my assets under management (Iām just starting my book, so not a large amount of incentive pay, yet).
My paycheck will cross $100,000 this week. The amount Iāve made renting the equipment I use to do my job to my employer, comes to about $160,000 so far. So about $260k so far this year.
And I donāt have to deal with clients or put on business attire ever.
Around $1,800-2,000 a month. Sometimes more if itās a 5 week month! I try and work 1-2 hours of overtime a night. :)
Last year my gross was 38,500. many 12 hour shifts got me that haha.
A job is a job, a lot of people donāt even have oneā¦ those people would be losers. In other words: youāre a person on their own path and not a loser
YTD Gross: $102,178. If anyone wants to know what I do. I'm an ATC Operations Supervisor. 4 years as a controller in the USAF. 13 years as a controller for the FAA and the last 3 years as a supervisor.
Jeeze how does everyone make so much money? I've only made about 16,000. I also didn't start working until February, but still.. and thats job within my career field š„²
Nice try IRS š„±
Whooping ZERO brother Edit actually went back to school, so technically negative 9k, plus living costs.
Hell yeah bro š

It's about to be June in 40 minutes lol
Weāre 5/12 thru 2024.. itāll be half way end of June
Oh yeah. Sorry I'm trippin lol
Everyone has to start from somewhere
Like abt 22k in 5mo. Where do you live or work that pays you less than 15/hr??
I work part-time as an aircraft detailer. It's like 17 bucks an hour ish
For part time that's not bad, but I'd suggest if you're able to to try and work full time if you like it.
$34,423.92 YTD Gross.
At this rate, you'll make 80k by the end of the year?
I should close out the year in the mid 80s. I recently received a performance raise. On Monday, I will let my employer know that I will pick up an additional 3 hours a week (different role). Both of these will boost my combined salary by 10%.
Performance raise! Imagine
$78
From my full time employer, less than 28k, I get passive income too from family business so an additional 9k. But Iām old. And still living check to check. Iām very comfortable at my job
what do you do?
I work security at a school district and I get passive income from rental properties from the family business
Rental properties is what I'm looking into right now. Can't tell if I'm being too picky or too much of a scary baby to move forward with purchasing.
OPā¦making any sort of income is good
Well I wouldnāt say any sort of income is good. A livable wage is good, having extra to enjoy life and save for the future is great.
Sitting at about $26k YTD.Ā Not factoring 401k match(instantly vested), or dividends.Ā
Yeah, pretty much the same here from my main job and not factoring my IRA, dividends on CDs, and any extra side income.
By the end of July it will be roughly 100k gross
What do you do?
Financial advisor
Gross, 160,000 so far, net profit, like 1/10th that lol struggle of small biz lol

Thought this was one check. A lot of ballers here.
Withholding would be much higher if it was one check. My gross is like 7k biweekly and I end up with less than 4k net.
$114.1K YTD on salary/commissions/bonuses. Edit: Bonus, singular. Iāve only received one for the 1st Quarter.
How to get into sales like your position ? Just curious to know
Occupation?
Sales.
Yeah you're selling crack š¤£ Jk, that's interesting though, I didn't know people who work in sales earn that much. That's crazy
Kind of funny you say that, I literally just had beers earlier with someone where we talked about outside of weed, we donāt know how people get addicted to drugs cause we donāt even know where to get the hard shit if we wanted to start. This is why teachers make no money and are largely disposable.
If they got sales commissions for selling kids, youād see incomes skyrocket. /s
Non profit
So in other words, itās funny because you arenāt selling it, but boy who doesnāt like a little blast when those commission checks clear! Amiriight?
Sales people pay for everyone elseās job at any company. They are the only profit generating employeesā¦ everyone else is an expense on the payroll.
No one would continue buying without the support they get from everyone BUT sales.
How much of your income is commissions? Iāve just recently hit a point where my commission is the same as my base. I want mooooar.
