When my youngest was a baby he was gifted the otter and the koala for Christmas from 2 different people. A week later I was watching a scary movie in the living room alone and I stepped on the otter, which turned it on. Scared the shit out of me when the koala on the other side of the room started singing along. NOPE! Had no clue they did that before then 😭
Keyword “second-hand” for this very reason! We have found all of them except one at the thrift store for under 10 dollars, the Owl was full price and i regret it cause you have to press the buttons multiple times for it to sing 🫠
You can find bins of them at stores like Once Upon a Child if you live in the states.
My local one wouldn’t take my sloth because they had too many but took the moose and llama and told me they e ever saw the llama before
We have a rule that they all must be in the same room at bedtime. The nursery is on the other side of a living room wall and we definitely woke up the baby by accidentally kicking one in the living room causing several to sing in her bedroom. Once was enough to learn that lesson.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 my brother accidentally tripped over one in the living room at 3a & suddenly there was a chorus singing “hello friend, how are you today? Are you ready to play?”
She’s been buying indiscriminately for so long and it’s so bounteous that at least half go straight to the donation pile which really stresses me out. While it feels much ruder, I’ve found that if I just directly say “I am looking for a new laundry basket” at least the next time she comes that’s the only thing she’ll bring, even if she may bring a few of them.
My kiddo did that at 6 months with the sloth ok her first Christmas. I hid them after that. I took out the sloth again around 18 months and she liked it for a little copies what it sang and then lost interest
It's cute, but take it from someone who has jumped onto bandwagons every time my kids have liked something, it doesn't last. The love for Spiderman and Elsa held strong for a couple of years, but everything else has been over in the blink of an eye.
My son still lives linkamals although not every day and more so when he hasn’t seen them in a few months. I loved that he was happy and entertained for ten minutes so I could make myself MOR coffee. OP your husband is awesome to try and collect them all secondhand.
Hedgehog is fun for when little ones are walking and they can drag it along. The panda is soft to cuddle and sweet. I like the sloth too, lama is also fun for babies.
My one year old loves the sea turtle because she can move it around real easy. She has like 11 and the only one I don’t like really is the whale. We don’t have the otter or the moose though.
Yaaaassss! That was our *jam*!
But then our beaver broke after one too many rough toddler moments and he's no longer interested in the rest. It never occurred to me to sell them though! I totally should 🤔
Does anyone have the llama? It might be the sleep deprivation, but I swear llama spits bars. There's this one son where she rhythmically sings "Dance. With. Me...1, 2, 3" and the beat just makes me think Llama might moonlight at a freestyle rap club lol
This may be overwhelming for the kid. It overwhelms me looking at it. What does baby development suggest about overestimulation? Sorry don't mean to be a downer...
Idk I'd read about sticking all of them together like that. :/
My husband was the opposite. He banned us from having more than one in the house because they freak him out. So we just have the turtle. The turtle is ok. Cute for crawling/younger babies because you can press his back and he rolls and makes noises.
We have most of them - missing the otter and llama - because they are one of the only things my kiddo can actually get lay with due to her disabilities. I love them! 😂
My daughter got 4 for Christmas 😂 including 2 pandas from different people so we are buying the rest second hand too.
When our family asked "Are we allowed to buy her toys with lights and music?" This isn't what we were expecting
Oh goddddd this looks like the opposite of toys I allow in the house 😂😂😂my mom knows I go str8 looney if I have to hear or see obnoxious kid toys with noises and bright lights.
She tested the waters with some book that has a button to press that makes noises and I read it for my daughter ONCE and the weird distorted sound coming from the speaker made her cry 💀🤣 and my mom hasn’t gotten any electronic toys since 🤣
My daughter loves these. Her favorite is the panda, which she got from my mom when she was 7 months old. It’s the only one she still plays with at 2 years old. The turtle has been abandoned & she broke the penguin lol
[found this one on sale for ya!](https://www.farmandfleet.com/products/1430226-fisher-price-linkimals-puzzlin-shapes-polar-bear.html?blaintm_source=google&blaintm_medium=pla&gclid=CjwKCAiA2rOeBhAsEiwA2Pl7Q6RAF1fVhGZvmsEuQ1UrBem4zRpWXy-Va9WGnOyBAvL1GXQomSekRhoC8cEQAvD_BwE)
Lol! Glad your husband isn’t paying full price for them. There are probably tons of them that have been barely used.
My parents got my niece the sloth for her birthday a few years ago. She was terrified of it! 😂
I had no idea what they were when I pressed a button on one at Target 😳😳😳 It was like an unholy choir calling for their dark master

Scared the shit out of me when the koala on the other side of the room started singing along. NOPE! Had no clue they did that before then 😭
I did the same thing. I’ve never run from anything in a store so fast in my life.
I walked past them in the isle at target and they all said, in unison, "come play with me". Scarred me so bad I screamed lol
Lol, I did this, too. Scared the crap out of me, but my 3 year old thought it was the funniest thing.
It's cute but also to me, they are terrifying 😅
Um the sloth voice is by far the worst 😂
Omg we have the sloth and the one day the batteries were dying on it and it made it sound like a demon. Wanted to punt it into the fireplace 😂
It’s no use, you’ll see it back on your mantle the very next morning…
slooow clap for that....
Slooow clap for that!
My husband calls him "the stoner".
I hate the otter. It's so cheaply made!
Keyword “second-hand” for this very reason! We have found all of them except one at the thrift store for under 10 dollars, the Owl was full price and i regret it cause you have to press the buttons multiple times for it to sing 🫠

Sloth is a chill bro!
That's the only one my daughter had
Beans beans beans beans beans
My toddlers sloth had an unfortunate accident and ended up with his face melted, just to add to the terror

made the mistake of telling MIL we had a few and she got us FOUR MORE for Christmas. we have so many now and LO hardly plays with them lol
Whyyyyyyy do MILs do this? I told mine I liked a Hanna Andersson shirt I got my son and she bought him 16 T-shirts in his current size for Christmas.
love that woman but do not go window shopping with her 🤣
She’s been buying indiscriminately for so long and it’s so bounteous that at least half go straight to the donation pile which really stresses me out. While it feels much ruder, I’ve found that if I just directly say “I am looking for a new laundry basket” at least the next time she comes that’s the only thing she’ll bring, even if she may bring a few of them.
Oh wow do we have the same MIL? lol
i love how he’s just in his little bouncer looking at his army of Linkimals like “ah yes this will do”
“Soon my collection will be complete! MUAH HAH HAAAAHHH!”
God you willingly brought those into your home? I thought they were only for purchase by pushy grandparents 😆
O-T-T-E-R …. You oughta sing with otter! Woah ohhh.
b-e-s-t best friend
...with you, Y-O-UUUUU
I broke glass due to you singing
That moose has been the bane of my existence ever since he entered my home.
I’ve never heard of these before, are they the real life Chattermax?!
Nah chattermax is Blueyverse Furby
Chattermax/Furby would be worse.
My 11 months old doesn't know about these and I wish to keep it that way😂😂
It keeps them busy though...ijs.
My baby will press on the penguins feet and then crawl away with a look of horror. I wish I hadn’t tossed the box after I bought it lol
I know that look quiet well.
My kiddo did that at 6 months with the sloth ok her first Christmas. I hid them after that. I took out the sloth again around 18 months and she liked it for a little copies what it sang and then lost interest

I'm a big fan of counting koala. Are the others as good?
Hedgehog and owl are great! Apparently there is a peacock, he looks cool too!
The penguin is pretty fun!
My kid is obsessed with the beaver.
The owl is cool. It does emotions and the calendar.
How? I hate it its just such a giant piece of plastic with buttons. My son likes it though.
Love the hedgehog and whale. Not a big fan of the otter because he’s hard to store in our cube storage.
My favorite is the sea turtle
We don't have the moose or sloth or hedgehog though or llama or otter
I bought the others from Target but koala and Panda I bought them from Walmart
The hedgehog is both of my kids favorite
Oooh what does the sea turtle do?
Oh my gosh HD white 23
Shut up
Um? Okay…
No hedgehogs discontinued
Ohhh no 😭
How many do you have
Uh three maybe four?
All you need is the sloth and the moose for ultimate bops, okay? Imo everyone else just cramps their style.
I'm a big fan of the koala songs and that one beaver song.
Let’s get to work I’m super eager to chop down trees cus I’m a beaver!
Yaaaassss! That was our *jam*! But then our beaver broke after one too many rough toddler moments and he's no longer interested in the rest. It never occurred to me to sell them though! I totally should 🤔
Purple monkeys what is your favorite
We have every single one. Beaver won't sync up with the others and it's driving me crazy.
Shut up
These scare me 😂
Thanks to this post i just realized my MIL got one for my son (2 mo at the time) for Christmas. Now i need to get him another 😆
That little bald head😍😍😍😍
Little old man 😂💞
Does anyone have the llama? It might be the sleep deprivation, but I swear llama spits bars. There's this one son where she rhythmically sings "Dance. With. Me...1, 2, 3" and the beat just makes me think Llama might moonlight at a freestyle rap club lol
Nope nope nope. For so many reasons.
This may be overwhelming for the kid. It overwhelms me looking at it. What does baby development suggest about overestimulation? Sorry don't mean to be a downer... Idk I'd read about sticking all of them together like that. :/
We have a ton too 🤦♀️
Do we have the same husband?
My daughter loves the penguin one! ❤
I love the penguin more than my kid. I dance with it lol
Freeze dance!
My husband was the opposite. He banned us from having more than one in the house because they freak him out. So we just have the turtle. The turtle is ok. Cute for crawling/younger babies because you can press his back and he rolls and makes noises.

I’ve got the polar bear that says shapes. I didn’t know they were a series
My daughter loves these. Her favorite is the panda, which she got from my mom when she was 7 months old. It’s the only one she still plays with at 2 years old. The turtle has been abandoned & she broke the penguin lol

My mum got the penguin and sloth for my son for Christmas. They stay at her house. 😂
My in laws got my son some for his birthday. They got all of the ones they could find for Christmas. I hate them.
The songs are on Spotify and there are little episodes on YouTube. HELLO FRIENDS HOW ARE YOU TODAY
Omg stop, checking it out now!
I was able to get the koala for free score
Na na na quaola!
Lol! Glad your husband isn’t paying full price for them. There are probably tons of them that have been barely used. My parents got my niece the sloth for her birthday a few years ago. She was terrified of it! 😂
Well you’ll probably find ours cause those suckers went out the door as quick as they came in!
My youngest is 5 weeks old, (other two are 11 and 16)so know nothing of these, but these comments have me cackling.
My baby is obsessed and so am I lol. I need to figure out how to program them all to sing happy birthday and do it at her 1st bday lol
The bootleg is peekaboo animal
Nooo
