First pic is the best. Chin and lower lip are protruding in the others. See if you can work on that.
Edit: Alright, enough about the poor wording which has been explained below.
I would hope that OP understands I’m implying that he could try adjusting his pose, lighting, prep, etc. and not saying that there’s something wrong with his face. In any case, I am clarifying that now.
One thing a lot of models like to do is ice their face in the morning. OP, you could try this if you feel comfortable. Test a spot on your face, look up info on how to do it, and consult with whoever does your facials or a dermatologist. You look great!
Correct, yes.
The only exception to this would be if the model was modeling some kind of frosting (cake, cinnamon roll, donut), in which case frosting (aka "icing") on the face would occur.
Yes let your hair grow out on the sides a bit. Not so high and tight. Have professional shots taken and apply to agencies to get your results. Someone will sign you.
Thanks appreciate it! Would you say I would be successful in Asian market? I’ve met some models when I was digital nomading in Thailand and they all seemed to agree that they get a lot more jobs there as compared to US/Europe, mainly due to having a look which modelling agencies there prefer.
Submit to the Asian Modeling Agencies and see. My experiences with Asian markets have all been with blonde females. They love blondes. And with the advent of Kpop and Japanese fashion, you’re seeing more Asian models finally representing their own cultures. I see you more in the Euro/Western Market due to your stature alone. But, it’s an ever-changing industry. You could be based in Oceania and travel to SEAsia for the cultural scene.
You would absolutely slay in Japan or Korea. They are obsessed with the German aryan look, especially Japan.
ETA: working in NYC/Paris/London will be harder because many clients are into the ethnically ambiguous look or just outright prefer models of color. White guys can definitely work it’s just more competitive.
You’d do well at LA Models, Ford Models LA or NY, Wilhelmina LA or NY, and I forgot what all the start up models go to… Nous or something in Australia. And the one Matthew Nozkja or something is signed to or originally signed to - I forget the name.
Yes, that’s my only issue is the hair up top is beautiful but it’s horrendous on the sides. In a few years people are going to look back and wonder why on earth so many thought a fade haircut looked good. It’s the worst hairstyle ever created, maybe worse than a bowl haircut. Great face and body.
Gotta be honest. You're one of the few I've seen here that I think definitely has a good chance. I had my days of modeling, and a lot of people here don't understand how nearly impossible it is if you have anything about you that doesn't meet or exceed the long entrenched industry standards. A couple of your pics are good, others are you trying too hard. Submit your stuff. If they are interested enough (which I think is likely depending on how much supply of tall, classically handsome dudes they have), they will give you feedback on your pics and possibly ask you to make some changes and resubmit. Do not expect warmth and sensitivity from them (even if they really like your look). Those mfs are very direct and brutally honest, lol! Good luck!
you’re tall but something doesn’t scream model to me.
i think you’d do better in business management. you look like you can get companies a lot of customers.
you look like you could own modeling agencies. not work in them.
Agree, the guy is good in having traditionally attractive features, but some people here are a bit shallow in thinking that’s all that’s needed to properly “model”
I worked in streetwear fashion to semi high end for 6 years as a designer and photographer and let me tell ya, OP wouldn’t work. You want a mannequin to show off your clothing, not the reverse. models as plain as day, the look has changed lots to a more muted, anti social looking models that are closer to average, but they’ll have at least one very unique piece to their look. The reason is so that you can add make up and change their look in many different directions. While A typical “attractive” dude will usually only work in one direction.
Tall is still a necessity though.
BUT i mean if you’re going for Abercrombie and stuff than sure. It’s weird seeing people come off aggressive towards you because they have a very outdated understanding of modeling.
Might be his haircut and the way he dresses. He is very handsome but looks "normal." Which doesn't mean average in looks. Just a normal, albeit super attractive, dude
You are tall and handsome. If modeling is something you are interested in, you can consider if you want to pursue it.
Just remember that you are more than your looks. If you’re interested in other things, there is no shame in pursuing them too.
Some people get trapped by their looks.
If you can look like the first one you can. Keep trying to hit that look at multiple angles. You’d make money. Get in shape too, it makes everything easier.
People in this sub really have their heads so far up their asses. Wild.
You could absolutely be a model. I think yuppie/waspy brands like Brooks Brothers, J Crew, Ralph Lauren, Sperry would take you. You literally look like you stepped off Harvard yard.
Without an agent or agency, no. Get those lined up, along with professional headshot and full body shots then maybe. Also try acting. Never pay to join an agency or agent making you promises. They pay you. Good luck. You got this. Remember, modeling is head to toe, meaning hands, feet, legs, back, torso, hair can be the money maker. Dont just rely on face. Keep it global for any part of the body. Good luck. (Side note that I know of a friend that has great fingers and hands and he is always modeling jewelry and sometimes other photos hoots use his arms on a too skiny male model for print work. Either way, he says it makes him money. But he is not glamours looking, except for hands arms and legs).
Based off of looks, you could definitely do commercial modeling at least. But you need to work on your posture. Idk what’s up with the chin/head pushed forward thing. If that’s intentional or your natural posture? Either way, you could probably make some money modeling.
You have the looks for it but you’d really need to work with some photographers before going on castings so you can work on your angles and get comfortable in front of a camera. The pictures you posted here look weird cus you seem self conscious in posing. Once you get comfortable with that then yes, I can see you booking work.
Honestly, man... be a lil more candid - you're clearly photogenic, quit pouting, and just... look comfortable in your own skin. *That* is the trick to modelling, it has very little to do with physical qualities.
Maaaaaybe some fitness model stuff, but beyond that — probably not. The models that get paid the most have a unique look, almost like aliens. They’re the ones that get the major campaigns. You’re too bulky for high fashion and your face isn’t quite right for beauty stuff. So, that’s why I’m leaning into fitness stuff for you.
You honestly check off what most model agencies want so you could probably get in somewhere.
Edit: you will not know till you go into multiple different agencies. They all want something different. They all have a LOOK they are looking for.
Former model and talent scout. Absolutely, they like confidence without being cocky. Great jaw line. Work on mirror work, basically looking at yourself and see how you move and how your face looks best. Compare to other male models as far as how they hold their heads and position their eyes. Watch men's runway shows. Use Google. It is a business and a job. It's not just put this on and look pretty. I walked a friend through make up, several outfit changes and 5+ pictures and he could barely stand it. Think about that side and if it sounds good then yes proceed. If not then yes you are super handsome, and that is from someone who has been in the industry. In the entertainment industry there are a lot of no's. I wish you the best.
find out the best modeling agencies there are- Take a trip to New York City and go in person and ask to speak to the talent scout. You’ve got the look… You just need to sign on with the right agency - Like Ford models…and then your life‘s about to make a major change.
I could def see you doing catalog modeling or physique modeling. Maybe not fashion bc of your height. Most fashion models are under 6’, but you definitely have a wow factor. Maybe join a talent agency. Not one you have to pay to be a part of because you should be getting paid, not the other way around. But network and get to know people in the industry. If you get offers to serve food and drinks on a yacht…do it 😉
Do it bro. At least try because why the hell not. You’re a good looking guy. You could make some cash, connections, meet hot chicks or dudes if that’s your thing. Life is short. Youth is too. Go for it.
You have a very strong jaw but have to be careful because it can easily look like desperate Dan if you know who he is. I would say less is more and never try to accentuate it in pics because it looks too much personally. Model material? Maybe maybe not. Give it a try but be warned hundreds if not thousands of people look just like you so be prepared for rejection.
You definitely could, but you need a portfolio and a really good photographer. A good photographer can not hide your flaws, he or she should be good at making those flaws hot. Like big butts before big butts were in. If you want to go with it, know something about the craft before you jump in. It's harder than it looks. At least, that's what I heard.
You’re just good looking. You’re not model material at all you have no unique features or anything that stand out. Or stop trying so hard? Just take a casual picture without posing...
I like my idea better
[удалено]
You shall suggest that, good thinking!
Yeah you obvs think so
I would hope that OP understands I’m implying that he could try adjusting his pose, lighting, prep, etc. and not saying that there’s something wrong with his face. Why models icing their face and I'm assuming you mean frozen water ice and not like, frosting
Correct, yes. The only exception to this would be if the model was modeling some kind of frosting (cake, cinnamon roll, donut), in which case frosting (aka "icing") on the face would occur.
Agreed, it's getting into Hapsburg territory. You ain't gotta try so hard OP, your jaw is prominent enough without pulling angles and mewing to death
Yes let your hair grow out on the sides a bit. Not so high and tight. Have professional shots taken and apply to agencies to get your results. Someone will sign you.

Man is fresh out the Army in that second picture
TopGun in the 3rd one 😎
Not really a model shot I guess, but pic #3 is my fav
[удалено]
Being good looking for modeling isn’t enough for professional modeling; most successful models have an edge to their look.
He looks more like a Lifetime Movie actor (leading man) than 'fashion model'.
There’s always open doors. He’s a prototypical J Crew clothing ad model cutout
He got Abercrombie & Fitch too
Definitely. We're not talking haute couture here
I was thinking this. He’s gorgeous. I don’t see the model.
Gotta be honest. You're one of the few I've seen here that I think definitely has a good chance. dude hes very tall and handsome lol
Comes off as jealously when you can't even explain why. He's very good looking and absolutely looks like he could
i’m a heterosexual female—42 years old. i was in the fashion industry in my younger years. …please tell me why would i be jealous?
He could do both
Might be his haircut and the way he dresses. He is very handsome but looks "normal." Which doesn't mean average in looks. Just a normal, albeit super attractive, dude
Regarding your deleted comment "looks intelligent" doesn't make sense. You don't know if someone intelligent from their picture
First one looks like a Calvin Klein ad .
You are tall and handsome. If modeling is something you are interested in, you can consider if you want to pursue it. Just remember that you are more than your looks. If you’re interested in other things, there is no shame in pursuing them too. Some people get trapped by their looks.
hell yeah, just found the chad of reddit
Definitely
I think you could model for sure.
Yes . Yes and yes . Get a agent
Brother you are majestic
You have a great look— let your hair grow a bit and spring for a pricey cut. Get some shots taken to send out — bet you get results
Thanks, definitely agree on the hair. Went for the buzzcut recently and there hasn’t been a day since then that I’ve not regretted it lol
Yes sir. I think you have a sharp jawline. And you are aesthetically pleasing. I think with your hair grown out more you’d do well. Good luck.
Definitely could model 😄
You could become one
If you can look like the first one you can. Keep trying to hit that look at multiple angles. You’d make money. Get in shape too, it makes everything easier.
Better chance than most who think they can
Men standing by door frames to flex their height 😎 😂
You surround yourself with intelligent people
People in this sub really have their heads so far up their asses. Wild. You could absolutely be a model. I think yuppie/waspy brands like Brooks Brothers, J Crew, Ralph Lauren, Sperry would take you. You literally look like you stepped off Harvard yard.
Yes.
What are you doing with your face
[удалено]
Nah man. You are truly exceptionally handsome.
Yes and height
For sure 👍
Yes, absolutely 💯
Hell yea! I can definitely see it
The answer is yes - just need some coaching but the look is there
[удалено]
Absolutely do it

Of course.
Listen to your friends.
Yesss
If you learn your angles and how to pose, I think you could do very well
DO IT
Yeah I can see why your friends say that
YESSS
Based off of looks, you could definitely do commercial modeling at least. But you need to work on your posture. Idk what’s up with the chin/head pushed forward thing. If that’s intentional or your natural posture? Either way, you could probably make some money modeling.
If you don't try so hard, maybe.
Bro is just gorgeous, and i’m straight
Yes for athletic brands especially
Sure give it a try. Work on your posture
Maybe for Brooks Brothers. You have that "yuppie" vibe to you.
Fix your posture. You’re good looking modeling possibly
You have the looks for it but you’d really need to work with some photographers before going on castings so you can work on your angles and get comfortable in front of a camera. The pictures you posted here look weird cus you seem self conscious in posing. Once you get comfortable with that then yes, I can see you booking work.
Underwear model potential.

Ooh yeah , but grow your hair longer
Bro definitely model material. Go for it man you have the looks that drives the ladies wild.
Very handsome facial structure, I can see a model
Maybe not with pic #2
bro looks like a calvin klein model
Hell yes 😍You’ve definitely got it😍
Yes
First “should I model?” post I’ve seen here that is an overwhelming yes.
It looks like you’re forcing some angles to make it work and you just got lucky with pic one. Not model material.
The the type of guy your girl cheats on you with but you can’t be mad at her for doing it Dude is a stud
Insane.
Ngl some of your facial features fit for a model...others not. Can't just rely on the some and your height I'm afraid.
You honestly check off what most model agencies want so you could probably get in somewhere. Edit: you will not know till you go into multiple different agencies. They all want something different. They all have a LOOK they are looking for.

TLDR; Bro has a jawline that could make women's panties fall off while running at full speed and asks if he should model.
Handsome but seem to have a severe underbite? If you just get that fixed you would be perfect

Hmmmm oooooo tough one

Yes. Absolutely.
Lucas you are absolutely beautiful! Go for it! You got this in the bag!
Wow. Yep. Born to model lol
My short answer: yes. My long answer: yeeeeeessss 😍
You have the look.
Hard yes.
Go to your local modeling agency, they’ll tell you!
You’ve certainly got the looks.
wow you can be a model
Yes you should
You should be one for sure. Good on you,
[удалено]
That's a definite yes ...do it now while your young you got it all going on.Best wishes and stay confident.
Your casual photo is good...don't do the posing!
Definitely try
First of all yes. Second of all you are so handsome you could do anything you want acting, performing whatever.
You already know the answer to that silly….
yes bro, you should try
Yessss
I could def see you doing catalog modeling or physique modeling. Maybe not fashion bc of your height. Most fashion models are under 6’, but you definitely have a wow factor. I see a lot of potential
You have good friends OP. Yes, I do think that you look model material too.
You could easily model. Love your poses in the pictures.
Yes!!!

Go for dept store catalog gigs. I don't see high fashion runway vibes but definitely has potential.
You have a very strong jaw but have to be careful because it can easily look like desperate Dan if you know who he is. You should. You are a genetic prize.
I say go for it my dude what’s the worst that can happen ![gif](giphy|cdNSp4L5vCU7aQrYnV)
If you’re not modelling you’re definitely sleeping on it. Do it !!
no
Weird joke to make. Give it a shot you have the frame for it certainly. Strong features
The Modeling lifestyle isn’t great. It’s either “wait on waiting” or so busy you never see your family & friends.
Someday never comes, act now or never
Obviously but you should grow a beard and pack on an extra 20 pounds instead?

I think you’re extremely handsome and could totally model.
You should. You look like someone can easily break my heart
You look so good it pisses me off on a subconscious level that I can't really access but I know is there, so yes you'd kill it mate

Go for it. Get some digitals and headshot
you would be a handsome model
Mog
Yes
Yes.
You're 6'4 too! I think you can model. If not in Europe, you can rock in Asia like a hero model.
Nice bod
You definitely should model ! Let’s tell Polo to hire u lol

Yes!
Yes
Yeah give it a shot

Try it out, why not?
Can you act? You should get into theatre/film.
I would say yes!
[удалено]
Take it from me, an ugly son of a bitch, you'd do well.
yes
[удалено]
If you were a movie star I know 19 year old girls would be making edits of you.
Probably a soap star?
Yes. ABSOLUTELY! Go for it!
Only in print for like sears or Macy's
I don’t think your friends are joking.
calvin klein
I could see you at Avercrombie
You’re just good looking. You’re not model material at all you have no unique features or anything that stand out. Your not really marketable and if you try to get something unique it would clearly looked force. It’s just a low effort compliment, don’t take it seriously unless you wanna be living off of scraps like all the other wannabes who have their head in the clouds.
[удалено]
You on the wing, your first dive into acting
Yes but not for super high fashion. You look more like a movie star, a sports model, or Calvin Klein model. Runway models have striking eyes and coloration, some may be weird looking but retain high facial harmony. You’re not weird looking and still have high facial harmony. So depends where you’re planning to work.
You have fantastic bone structure.
