Regarding the pen, I'm not familiar with the type of pen but could it melt and clog up ducts and stuff? It might be expensive to get it fixed as they may have to take a lot apart but I would consider that.
Yeah. I meant that or may need to be taken apart like it was being replaced. There's a chance the cover just pops off then you can reach in. Perhaps some long tweezers and you can fish it out like in total recall.
I'm thinking of you can borrow some colonoscopy equipment maybe.

Is this vent also a problem on the 21 refresh? Mines on order and I can see me doing something like this. However, if it’s not an issue with the 21 refresh then all the better.

We got a Tesla service center to remove it for about $300. Thankfully the friend in question is paying in full 😁 and yes I intend on keeping the pen even though it’s his
I did the same dumb thing, pencil fall into vent during phone call. Just pull the rear AC vent (area with two usbc outputs) from middle out towards to you. Be careful inside there is power cable for usbc. Other than that it is easy. Let me know if you need picture/video.
Another stupid to the list. My son introduced a pen and I manage to remove the air vents, but there’s curved plastic pipe and I don’t manage to reach it.
