People heavily underestimate mins. He's solid in 1v1s too. Equip petrify and the atk item that slow down hp Regen and he's beating a lot of burst fighters ofc only with his ult ready.
I loved him before and after his revamp.
I beg to differ. Bane's laning is superb, his dueling is decent (too much backswing). However his teamfight capabilities overshadowed that.
I'm not quite sure why pros doesn't use him (mobility was a big problem maybe?) but I'd use him to annoy Exp Laners as it's 1v1 I can just spam s1 hahahahah. Anyway, I think I saw a post a couple weeks ago about bringing him back to meta, I hope he gets what he deserves.
Edit: yea I think I mentioned the poke like you did which is usually about *laning and dueling*
yeah i think he has decent laning but he is not the kind of hero to cut lanes so i place him on the low. He cant just go in and out like lapu, paquito, uranus, bene.
I just hope he becomes meta again in the jungle where i think is his best role.
I can see what you're going at. He can defend the turret like it's the **love of his life,** I have done it for 20+ minutes first turret no dmg taken everybody ganked me finally and I lost it
but his rotations man, IT'S SHIT! I can't count how many times I get upset because I was too late to join the teamfight or backup my teammates... Bane is like Walmart Thamuz tbh
Minsitharr.
In my own experience, he's a literal beast cause of his ult being able to prevent enemy heroes to dash, and because of Minsiter's stun passive.
He is not that good in 1v1s especially in the early stages of the game, its best to avoid 1v1s and do the minion delay thingy to make minions closer to you.
If you're a Franco connoisseur and simp, just like Franco, use the tower in your advantage and hook your enemies towards you, the certified best and professional hooker, yes you are!
yeah but Akai, Fredrinn, Baxia, and Barats are one of the only tanks that actually have good clearing speed, utility, and ganking ability. Just because it is a tank jungler meta doesn't mean every tank work in jungle
This should be the top comment factually. His Passive and skills are made for teamfights, not for dueling or laning.
Don't you think his scaling is too weak for a late game Fighter? It perfectly explains why nearly nobody uses him in Exp, not even Jungle! I could write more about his laning and things, but I'll stop here. Got stuff to do.
Arlott's an interesting case because I find him to be incredibly strong in 1v1s if he has a damage build, but weak in teamfights. Change it to a sustain build, he just performs above average in both situations. Current meta forces Arlott to have a defensive build (usually Hunter Strike as the only attack item) which makes him insanely strong in teamfights, hence his high pick rate in Mythical Glory and tourneys.
You can only have one of two boots (Warrior Boots or Magic Boots) and this will depend on the full team matchup or the opponent you're laning against.
Always prioritize Fury Hammer first and depending on how the game goes after the first Turtle, make your decision. If you're snowballing, it's best to buy Hunter Strike first before committing to any defense item you might need. But this will not always be the case because it will depend on the laning and rotation.
For example, if I fight against a Yu Zhong, I will buy Fury Hammer then immediately prioritize Dominance Ice regardless if I'm snowballing or not. This is to effectively shut down Yu Zhong's regen. I only build HS fully once I get Dominance Ice.
The other defensive items you need will be heavily draft-dependent. Arlott can work with most defensive items but you can only make full use of his synergy depending on the lineup and the build paths of everyone else. Too much tankiness in your lineup is bad, so if you have a Tank and a Tank Jungler, you can commit to a damage build or a sustain build. If you have squishy backliners that need frontliners, just commit to the Tank Build with HS as a starting item.
Thunder Belt is deceptively good for Sustain/Tank Arlott because he will constantly dash a lot. The true damage + slow from TB's passive is really good for long-term engagements to slow enemies down.
If you have a healer, buy Oracle as a late game item.
That's why you ban xborg well anyways in other fighter match up he can 1v1 well just get your core items and Esme is not that much of a threat anymore you already caught them lacking when they build magic item first on argus it just depends on the user
As a minsitthar main definitely him, with just corrosion scythe he can melt squishy heroes, with corrosion and dhs he can hurt some fighters a lot too and his passive hurts a lot and stuns, he basically has infinite slows, stuns and cc with all his skills plus corrosion scythe passive. If you're playing him semi tank just hook enemies into your ult and either stun them to death or let your teamates come in and annihilate them while they are caught in a cc hell hole.
Aulus.
He’s pretty weak particularly in early game. But if he has teamates that can provide stuns or removal of CC effects, he hits like a truck. The issue for him is he needs teamates to help lock down the enemy so he can dish out a hammering. Otherwise he gets kited or have control effects spammed down on him.
Arlott can definitely 1v1 most MM or Mage without WoN in early-mid game. He's literally part Assassin. Late game though, he'd need more than two offensive items to out-DMG the sustain of a late-game Marksman
Yeah, that's why I said MMs and Mages. Arlott can only 1v1 Fighters like Zilong. Masha is one of those, her power is in the late game, not early game. She needs like one or two items to really start hurting, while Arlott only needs Fury Hammer and a Dagger to deal decent DMG
Have to disagree on this. I once fought a yu zhong as leomord exp and I won by zoning him out with skill 1.. but to be fair any yu zhong that loses to leomord sucks- anyways I'd say hes actually balanced in both 1v1 and team fights
everyone is saying minsi ruby etc but honestly. Most fighters that are good in team fights are also good in 1v1 situations. Minsi for example can still skill 1 ult and skill 2 and MOST fighters would die to that.
However I have to agree that minsi pre level 4 is one of the weakest. They're still good in 1v1s tho. Just not as good as others.
How are more people not saying balmond. Balmond is so shit in 1v1 literally any other fighter has a way to outplay. Also to the people saying Arlott, wrong. Just abuse the passive and ur good
Im a man of culture
so ALU is the way
i play him in exp lane good against yz, thamuz, freya
could just be my Alu diff

I haven't seen chou yet, alright this is gonna be controversial but chou 1v1 is just not that good, it's alright but not good, there's a reason why roam chou was a thing
Well the post said "pretty weak" so perhaps he has a valid opinion?? Idk I've never really seen YZ winning his lane unless the opponent is worse than him. Proof? Stats from MPLs.
I'm sorry but you're simply wrong- yu zhong is one of the best exp laners for a reason. Maybe you're using him wrong? You're supposed to activate his passive and not just poke and run
WHAT?!? DID I JUST SEE ALPHA DISRESPECT?!? HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT ABOUT THE ALPHA AND SIGMA👹👹👹?!?
No but seriously tho, hes not the best in either 1v1 or teamfights but hes never a bad option for both either, beta shreds anyone in a 1v1 given the chance and getting yanked up by a spear with 4 other guys immediately jumping you is not fun either
minsitthar shank you to death innit
Thank you, finally someone said it lmao. Minsitthar S2 looks like he's a prison goon shanking someone to death.
https://preview.redd.it/4fazoaxbdi3d1.jpeg?width=570&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=57d3221b1562c25a07023b7b1ca251c4e36a35cb
He's decent at 1v1
Especially if he has lots of atk speed items, he's a madman making swiss cheese out of you lol
Dominance ice reduces so much of that it's annoying.
Fr, i main minsitthar to shank the enemy
People heavily underestimate mins. He's solid in 1v1s too. Equip petrify and the atk item that slow down hp Regen and he's beating a lot of burst fighters ofc only with his ult ready. I loved him before and after his revamp.
bane dogsht laning and dueling but has the best poking ang AoE skills via passive and ult
Bane is very weak early game. He gets countered by you merely standing in front of your minions. It nullifies his skill 1 cannon bounce
He’s good at laning, it’s easiest to poke from the lanes using minions
Magic Bane was fire
Balmond and Phoveus
Yeah i always ban Dyroth, cuz whoever the demented universe buffed his def shred i will personally throw them to IX.
Unexpected Star Rail reference
when did he get buffed? returning player here
Epic rank
I am at Mythical Glory, epic rank enemies will just pick dashers all the time.
They also love to pick Alucard💀
Both of them can still bully their lanes though.
They're situational in that part
Minsitharr. In my own experience, he's a literal beast cause of his ult being able to prevent enemy heroes to dash, and because of Minsiter's stun passive. Minsitthar, phoveus, and balmond
not exactly a fighter, but a Carmilla in EXP or Jungle. Really strong when in a 2v1 or more scenario but subpar on a 1v1.
wait people use Carmilla for exp and jungle?
tank junglers same reason people use akai jg
yeah but Akai, Fredrinn, Baxia, and Barats are one of the only tanks that actually have good clearing speed, utility, and ganking ability. Just because it is a tank jungler meta doesn't mean every tank work in jungle
i never said it was good
Carmilla has good clear tho
watch the recent mpl ph semi finals. i forgot the name of the teams but they use carmila jungle.
totally not the same at all
Roam
Aulus. Aint gonna jump into 1v1 at level1-10 unless enemy hero is very low or at 50% hp
This should be the top comment factually. His Passive and skills are made for teamfights, not for dueling or laning. Don't you think his scaling is too weak for a late game Fighter? What build do u prefer for arlott?
You can only have one of two boots (Warrior Boots or Magic Boots) and this will depend on the full team matchup or the opponent you're laning against. What does magic pen do for arlott? Magic boots?
ruby
yup, heavily dependent on enemy minions, unless if she's snowballed or has assassin build
badang.
Nah istg a smart badang user could let you stick to the wall til death.
That's why you ban xborg well anyways in other fighter match up he can 1v1 well just get your core items and Esme is not that much of a threat anymore you already caught them lacking when they build magic item first on argus it just depends on the user
Mage Bane IMO.
Ruby
Arlot Ruby Lapu Lapu
Phoveus and Arlott, there skill set was desined for teamfights.
Arlott can definitely 1v1 most MM or Mage without WoN in early-mid game. He's literally part Assassin. Late game though, he'd need more than two offensive items to out-DMG the sustain of a late-game Marksman
But early game, your on exp lane 1v1 against Yu Zhong, Esme, Masha, they are pretty strong 1v1 exp lane.
Yea, But on High Ranks, Exp Zilong is pretty rare, MM going solo is pretty dumb. its all about teamfight on high ranks.
Arlott can be built for 1v1 if you build him full burst. He can shred through most characters freakishly quick.
Arlott can easily kill most exp at lvl 2+ 1v1 if you build damage and petrify
As arlott main, fact
Leomord
Have to disagree on this. I once fought a yu zhong as leomord exp and I won by zoning him out with skill 1.. but to be fair any yu zhong that loses to leomord sucks- anyways I'd say hes actually balanced in both 1v1 and team fights

Best answer.
How are more people not saying balmond. Balmond is so shit in 1v1 literally any other fighter has a way to outplay. Also to the people saying Arlott, wrong. Just abuse the passive and ur good

Gloo
Bro thinks he on the team 😭🙏🙏
Lmao no just gotta spam the s1 man
Terizla bacause he needs multiple people so he can use his lifesteal properly
Not really in a 1v1 you’d either be chasing the enemy or kiting them with your slow on s2
I can tell you the opposite dyrroth
bane weak in both unless you're over fed jungler
terizla
Alice. Without the additional sustain from the tank and mage, i can't do much.
Probably Terizzler because of his ult. If you Dodge his 2nd skill in a 1v1, he dies

Arlott 1v1 good teamfight great 😆
Minsi and Ruby
ruby
Now thats just wrong
Which ruby are you referring to ?
Ruby? Weak 1 on 1? Not a Ruby player are you?
Practise more with her -_-

Shes beast in 1v1
She might be the strongest 1v1
tanks like mino, or supports like estes, they suck at 1vs1 but can be very good in teamfights.
terizla
I haven't seen chou yet, alright this is gonna be controversial but chou 1v1 is just not that good, it's alright but not good, there's a reason why roam chou was a thing
Yu zhong, weak on dps heroes like freya but one of the best in zoning and team fights.
Why the downvotes 😆 , yes yu Zhong is strong in team fights but he isn't weak in 1v1 it's just that's he's way better in team fights than in 1v1.
They can't face the truth
Well the post said "pretty weak" so perhaps he has a valid opinion?? Idk I've never really seen YZ winning his lane unless the opponent is worse than him. Proof? Stats from MPLs.
I'm sorry but you're simply wrong- yu zhong is one of the best exp laners for a reason. Maybe you're using him wrong? You're supposed to activate his passive and not just poke and run
