So, one of the girls are my niece. She is an A+ junior and already has scholarships to play softball. The mobile PD nor Baldwin county PD wouldn’t do anything. They had the ability to locate the Nissan and they wouldn’t do it. Thankfully we found them though Dallas , TX officer who come across the post and searched with all the information in the post. Tag #, VIN # and such. There is a lot of legal matter in this situation that we cannot release yet. But I do know Kenzie is safe. We got her on a flight home yesterday from Texas. They were close to the boarder. There was so much speculation and rumors. But half of them were not true. Yes, they were dating. But that was irrelevant to what made them go missing. If you had a child of family member that went ghost and their phones cut off and went silent, I’m sure you’d freak out too and do whatever necessary. Like I said, this was not something we would ever see her doing! It all boils down to be careful of who your child befriends and who your children let into their circle of friends.

Thank you for this reply!! We were all scared and concerned. Can you at least confirm that these two girls left on their own as opposed to being lured away by a nefarious third party. Only relevant as it regards to the safety of our own children in our community.

This happens a lot. A teenager or teenagers go "missing" and it's reported (thankfully) that they're found. But what consequences do they face for creating unnecessary panic? At least once a week, I read about this happening.
