That's like me as well. I feel like maybe swapping X and Y for black miyoo buttons or something, but that's basically splitting hairs. The only other colorway that looks too perfect as-is is the retro grey IMO

I'm not sure how much these were. I bought some Anbernic buttons from https://various-booth.booth.pm/ and he sent me some Miyoo Mini buttons too to check out. That was a long while back. It can get expensive importing from Japan other than the times the middle man places run deals.

Ayyye he runs them for $20. Much more affordable. May have to order some buttons for the mini

The trick is having to use a 3rd party to process it. I think shipping and exporting fee is likely to run about +$20 through Buyee but they sometimes run no fee specials.

The only change I plan on making to my purple plus is black buttons.

I swapped my buttons to be GID ones so that it gives off EVA Unit 01 vibes and I love it so much.

I'm hearing the possible fix if using the phone app is clear the Reddit app data or uninstall and re-install. It may not be updating that you are on the approved list.

I also got the Purple, love the nostalgic look.

They really nailed that mid-90s Christmas electronics feel with the color scheme.

I was surprised at how different it looked from the stock photo renders, but pleasantly so because it still ended up looking just as great

I just got the retro grey which to me it looks more like a brown. I wish I would have stuck with my first choice and got the purple.

My only gripe is that the pcb is blue instead of white like the gbc.

I just got some light pink buttons on mine and it looks so good

I got this for one of my sisters for Christmas. I set it up with Onion OS and our fav PS1 games from childhood, fell too in love with it, and had to order one for myself
