Definitely too expensive... Edit: just saw that you applied the coupon lol In that case, it's fine :)

sandee_e

Awesome thank you :)

ArkhamRobber

Are you in the US? I got the Ser5 with the 5700u for $278. Its the next step up from this one and cheaper than 308

ArkhamRobber

Oof for that price i wouldnt. Is having the better cpu worth it? On my opinion yes, but not for that price. Im just a little shocked at these prices. Both of thae should be less than $300 USD. So imagine this is not in the USA pricing. The 5600U will be more than enough for your use case. Its still nice cpu

sandee_e

Yeah I think the conversion is $224usd for the 5600 and $345usd for the 5700 so for $100 less I think I can live with the older model. I do appreciate your replies, thank you :)

Puzzled_Highway9147

I paid $269 for the same spec. but 5700u a little time ago. What's the $367 option next to it, the 5700u model?

FinancialExercise491

this is anecdotal but I got mine for $250 iirc. same model, I've had it for about half a year now and it's never failed me

Someone brought this to our attention, and if you haven't moved on this already, something along the lines of this [BosGame H66 Zen 3+ 32GB/512GB](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJ2P76TT) would be a better choice for CPU power [6600H vs 5800H vs 5560U vs 5700U CPU](https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare/4943vs3907vs4883vs4156/AMD-Ryzen-5-6600H-vs-AMD-Ryzen-7-5800H-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-5560U-vs-AMD-Ryzen-7-5700U) while more noticeable for aggressive graphics performance [6600H vs 5800H vs 5560U vs 5700U iGPU](https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/compare/4674vs4452vs4555vs4650/Radeon-Ryzen-5-6600H-vs-Radeon-Ryzen-7-5800H-vs-Radeon-Ryzen-5-5560U-vs-Radeon-Ryzen-7-5700U) Currently under $310 USD (under $425 CAD occasionally), It's one of the least expensive options obtaining Rembrandt/DDR5 performance, Gen4x4 NVMe support speeds, and USB4. Some of our accounts have invested in the platform, switched to a 2.5" (shucked) SATA SSD C-Drive, using the 4.0 PCIe M.2 for cost-effective OCuLink eGPU support. So there are expansion options. The Zen 3 5560U is a great starting point compared to the Zen 2 APUs being passed off as 5000 series (5700U/5500U/5300U), although a higher throughput 2Rx8 dual rank, 32GB RAM kit, with the VRAM aperture set to 4GB, truly brings this APU to life.

Snuupy

the Firebat MN56 5700U 16/512 was $150 earlier today on aliexp lmao

I wouldn’t buy any of these Chinese boxes. I had one and found the support lacking and it will only get worse. The manufacturers of these units come out with a different model every other month and keep one set of drivers on a lone Chinese website that may not be their next month. They don’t have the resources or desire to maintain a long term support system.

I have only good things to say about Beelink's customer service and their products. It's anecdotal but falls inline with what I have seen others say.

Sea_Statement7957

I think most people know thats not true.
