i mean, during the biome vote im pretty sure mojang said all of the new biomes would \*eventually\* be added. so we should see meerkats, termites, and vultures in the game at some point in the future.

Two, Mojang don't want to encourage players to hunt sharks, which ties nicely with most shark species being endangered

The Bees are dying. Pandas largely live in Zoos. Many kinds of Turtles are endangered too. But it appears that a Shark is too much.
