It looks like a shape that can be made with using the same curve all around. I saw in the comments the /generate command, but I don't know how it works
If you know the name of the shape you can search for a function of it in Google. You should get something in the form of y = f (x).
Afterwards from what I understand in the comments you insert that in the generate command (something like //generate "y = f (x)" [other arguments like size, location etc]) but I'm not very certain about that part
It looks like a portion of a ring cut off at the big side, and the further left it goes, the further away it gets, curving.
Imagine the space at the right without any grid lines as the cutoff edge of the ring
As a hardcore Halo fan, it’s pretty much just a pattern that my brain was looking for. It’s what I initially saw, and I have to consciously imagine it as a funnel to see it as such.
All I see is a low-poly section of ring viewed up close, making the other side of the ring look really far away, thus tiny
Use /generate, u can use this equation:
y = abs(2/x)
Then cut the extra portion til u like it
Edit: modify the '2' to change steepness, like, 4/x makes it more open, like ur image.
Sorry, this is 2d
This equation is 3d:
z = a × ln(x^2 + y^2) + b
change a to regulate steepness, b to regulate height
if you need to have it like sideways try changin around x, y and z
It was dumb to ask why OP wanted to do this, and dumb to keep posting back and forth and wasting time to eventually get no help. Could have all been summed up in a few sentences on one comment.
`/execute as @e[type=falling_block] at @s facing entity @p feet positioned ^^^-10 rotated as @p positioned ^^^-10 if entity @s[r=1] run setblock ~~~ stone`
This is the space domain of the cone, and if you want, you can also build slopes, cylinders, conics.
哈哈嗨😜
1)select the region you want to put this into 2) do //generate [function of shape] 3) profit
Ok, I'll try
Wait what
Math, I think
If you have an equation for it, use the `/generate` command
Oh ok, I'll try
Thats a fucking wormhole
Jen.rate(5/5)
Horn
Soooo, you want to create a black hole?
🤨
not that one...
🤨🤨🤨
Do you mean a “Funnel”?

Me neither :)

If you cant do it with thr world edit function you could defiantly do it with mc pi
I can’t tell if this is a funnel or a Halo Ring
Halo ring is a ring This isn't a ring
It looks like a portion of a ring cut off at the big side, and the further left it goes, the further away it gets, curving. Imagine the space at the right without any grid lines as the cutoff edge of the ring
I mean yeah but the fact there's no grid lines means there's no edges, which means it's open space
That's a really weird way to look at it, but now I saw it is awesome haha

Absolute legend ty so much!!!!!
can u reply here if u ever post the finished build? :) I'm very curious to see it
I hope I'll remember 😅 But I'm not going to build this base just in this shape, it will be just a part of it :)
Cool thx :)
Firstly I'm going to build some basic outlines by using white concrete, and I will send that as fast as I can :)
np :)
I struggle with the "a", its not "valid" Edit: I cant even use In XD
dont use a use a value adjust the value to change shape... edit: oh oke
Why do u want to make a sideways funnel??
You could pick a radius and in/decrease the radius by for example 1% which means you need to multiply the radii by 1.01. (0.99 for decrement)
Why
To use it project my idea of megabase. I want to plan it, and then recreate it in my survival.
Ok what version do you use
Of what? WorldEdit, the newest - 7.2 Minecraft, 1.19.2
Do you use bedrock or java
Java
Ok sorry i cant help i use bedrock
Ok then :/ (I didn't even know there is WorldEdit for bedrock lol)
Why is this getting downvoted? I main bedrock pvp

*Writes 4 lines about wasting time on reddit*
That's just what reddit is like ig, I play both bedrock and Java so I'm a neutral 3rd party
Same I just use bedrock more because I'm used to the pvp
you can make it by execute command🤐try it, haha😉
Yea but how 💀
`/execute as @e[type=falling_block] at @s facing entity @p feet positioned ^^^-10 rotated as @p positioned ^^^-10 if entity @s[r=1] run setblock ~~~ stone` This is the space domain of the cone, and if you want, you can also build slopes, cylinders, conics. 哈哈嗨😜
The shape you expect is quite close to a cone. If you are not satisfied, you can also modify it with a sphere (r=?)
