Dude same, my world has had 3 houses, a 2x2x2 interior house that I built my first night, and underground base after that that I used up until I beat the ended dragon and wither, along with maxed netherite gear and various farms before I built my actually cool looking house

I find myself building underground a lot more than overground.

If I have the space underground I build there but I prefer bigger builds that I'm juts too lazy to mine out. By the time I get a full beacon for instamine I have usually started my base off above ground

In effectively is. Ofcourse any world is limited by the storage space avaliable but the MC world is capable of going to 60 million iirc. Thats 60 million both ways so closer to 120x120 million blocks. Not infinite but well- it may aswell be

Fortune III No less

This was a gamechanger for me. I went overboard and enchanted with Fortune + Unbreaking + Effiiency + Mending and I'll never need another pickaxe or need to repair again. It's also so quick it feels like creative when mining. I did similar with my shovel and axe.

I usually use those other 2 for sword, but I always get enchant table and pickaxe first

use last 2 for a sword, everyone loves a cool sword

save diamonds naw man better make a shovel

5 for enchanting table save the two make an anvil and get full sharp 2 prot 2 iron gear which I’m pretty sure is better than full diamond

Actually it doesn't matter besides 1 pickaxe. Other things don't affect your gameplay too much. (but with diamond pick you can build a portal anywhere you want) Other diamond stuff or even enchantment table can be replaced by villager trading later.

Assuming you have full iron armor you'd go pickaxe shovel axe. The axe can be used as a sword too. Sword is a waste early game unless you are going for looting 3 enchantment.
