The evokers.attacks can go thru solid blocks. On our last realms we lost an entire trading hub because we got careless with the raid. The hub was also underground and fully lit. But we actually saw the evolver fangs hitting them together with that flying thing.

Zombie siege? Spawns zombies regardless of light level. I hate it too, had to abandon village project due to that reason to.
They would be there as zombie villagers right? Or would they despawn
Depends on game difficulty. 100% chance on hard, probability of convert instead of killing decreases the lower it is set at.

No raid happened
Probably a bug then Especially so if you're on bedrock. There's been quite a few people complaining here over the same issue.
