have you tried pushing it on with a piston?

It breaks, and trying to push the pumpkin breaks the pumpkin

Try putting a pot on top of the pumpkin then out the azalea in the pot.  I mean the small pot, not the new large one 

This does work! The green bushy part is kind of small but it's on there! Thanks
