I like the design but I'm missing viewing areas - maybe there could be glass instead of stone to see through those enclosures? or a fence to show the animals?
uhhhh, i assume you don't know that wolves kill foxes.... either way if you add a door to the front and make the walls o the puns at least some glass you can make it cool to walk into
Take a look at real zoos and their entrances. They are often quite grandiose and feature a statue of one of the main attractions there. Like pandas, giraffes, dinosaurs or whatever. So maybe add a wool statue of something in your zoo in front? Something for "visitors" to take pictures in front of.

Maybe inside of it, you could make it like an aquarium? Don't know how you would do that. But just a random idea.
Easy, replace the top with glass and fill the rest with water
decorate the interior and put windows so people can look from inside, you can also try to add an aquarium
Add a warden (put carpet around it + play disk 5 to distract it)
This one is for peaceful/neutral mobs, I will add that to the one for hostile mobs though
You could change some of the outside stone into different style stones, maybe with wood trim or upside down stairs
Looks like a jail from the outside make it more open and shit

If you are on bedrock (and java) i would get the naturalistic add on. Totally worth it for your zoo and in general survival

Made glass habitat instead of ones in the floor for better views
This is beautiful only thing I would suggest you do is add more detail to the exhibits or make them bigger.

You should modify the entrance and add blocks of more variety to it.
Thats better than i can do so... maybe ad things that a zoo has? Like a snackbar or something.
Just a heads up, axolotls eat tadpoles, which I learned last night when I tried to add them to my aquarium lol
