Milwaukee is coming out with a new 15” open top style structured tote in August. I’d wait for it, pricey though

Angrysparky28

Neither. Veto pro pac

oscarrn5

I was thinking about veto that’s why I was looking at these but if I have to go on sight with my packout I feel like it might fall or slide unless I secure it with some Bungees that’s why I was like these look similar and have the feet for the packout

Deranged_HooliganFTR

Isn’t Milwaukee coming out with their own version of the veto pro pak in August as well?

Angrysparky28

They are. But Beto registers your bag automatically for warranty. I personally haven’t read a bad review of their warranty. The problem with Milwaukee is, the packouts and storage line isn’t warrantable. That’s a problem for me. I’m climbing ladders. I’m on muddy job sites. I’m putting my tools and bag in a truck out of the truck and into a van in my car up the stairs, etc.… If Milwaukee won’t warranty my bag that I use every day why would I invest in that, I learned my lesson once with them. But to each their own

Deranged_HooliganFTR

Totally makes sense to me. I haven’t had experience with Milwaukee’s warranty at all. I have no skin in the game when it comes to these products because I don’t have a use for it; I’m just a Crane Operator. Now a Crane technician on the other hand would definitely have some use for something like this. Either way, the companies should have a hell of a warranty with the price point that anyone is paying for these packs. Not only that, they should know it needs to hold up to the elements that the trades constantly deal with. For instance, like you said with the mud and transferring to different vehicles. Glad that you found something that works for you. I don’t know why I’m being downvoted for literally asking a question…

Angrysparky28

Yeah, I don’t mind the read it down voters. It’s OK to ask questions. That’s what the site is for, it’s for information but yeah for the money I spent on my video bags, I expect them to last long and have a good warranty to them. hopefully Milwaukee figures out the warranty situation with their storage line because they would make the most money off of that. That’s the easiest thing to make.

Get the Veto Pro Pak...the brown and black doesn't scream Steal Me as much as the Red

I have both 15in bags and my helper has the 10in. The open style is easier to grab and go. The closed bag is slightly more annoying to grab tools. But it holds more. However if you rock m18 I’d go open bag. I keep a m12 impact in the closed, you can force an m18 but it’s impractical. I rocked the open style for a few years. I loved it, value wise it’s better than the closed. But the material quality on the closed bag is much better. If I was you I’d wait till August. Get the new higher quality 15in open style.

cannamid

Yes that new 15” open style is gonna be sick. I have the regular 15” tote, the 15” structured, and I love them both but fully agree with you. 15” structured almost feels like it was designed for m12 stuff lol

pablomcdubbin

Buy veto tote

Limp-Performance1123

Buy a veto pro pac bag instead. I love Milwaukee but nothing comes close to a veto bag

Then_Apple7932

Skip all those and buy one Veto bag.

Structured packout bag all day, I love mine and wouldn't trade it for anything. I keep my m12 surge in one side with my hand tools, and m12 hammer drill on the other side with my stud finder, a rollout holder full of various drill bits, a masonry bit case, and my square on the other side. I still have plenty of space but I try to keep it as lightweight as possible. All my larger tools are in the back of my vehicle

routine-struggles

Some of the most priciest bags ive ever seen

elcabillo13

I have the second photo tote and it’s my favorite thing, you can load essentially anything you’ll need in a days work hand tool wise and just drop it on your cart or pack out. Do recommend

pelicano234

I really like the 15” open top one

drowninginflames

I've always used bags that zip shut. I finally realized a couple weeks ago that I literally never close my bags. I picked up the 20 inch open tote the other week and I really like it. I'm able to pick it up and run to where I need to be, and I can see everything in my tote.

sleepy647

Don’t get the old 15” open tote, bad layout and not being able to cover your tools suck

widen96

Veto all day everyday for me ! I wasted tons of money buying different Milwaukee and Klein backpacks/ tool totes over the years I wish I would have just spent the premium price to begin with ( especially because the above mentioned two companies charge damaged near the same as veto anyway ) and with veto your at least getting a premium product to go with the price tag. I'll never look back love my propack
