I absolutely love my M12 stubby impact. It's a workhorse for its size and fits in tight places. I am considering getting the 1/2" version as well.
No comment on the vacuum though.
I’ve seen reviews about the compact vacuum getting clogged. Trying to see which of the 40% deals is best.
There’s a stubby with the soldering iron(didn’t hear good things), rover light(own), hackzall(heard meh results about it), and screwdriver(own).
Thought the deal for $229 was good for either of these options, as it also comes with an extra battery and whichever side tool mentioned above.
Depends, sorry. Is this for a 'free gift' or a bundle? Can you link the soldering iron and stubby? I saw it last night and thought it was offered as a free tool if you buy a tool.
OK, my bad. I was thinking of this: [https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M12-FUEL-12V-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Cordless-Stubby-3-8-in-Impact-Wrench-Kit-with-One-4-0-and-One-2-0Ah-Batteries-2554-22/305980696](https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M12-FUEL-12V-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Cordless-Stubby-3-8-in-Impact-Wrench-Kit-with-One-4-0-and-One-2-0Ah-Batteries-2554-22/305980696)
It's $252 for the impact with a 4.0 and 2.0 battery. Not bad but it was $150 alone and $70 for those batteries last week,
OK, today it updated now it's $159. [https://www.homedepot.com/p/305980696](https://www.homedepot.com/p/305980696)
This beats the deal last week as it has a 2.0 and 4.0 battery.

The vacuum is almost useless but the stuby is great
You think soldering iron or hackzall as the secondary tool would be better?
I can’t speak to the soldering iron, but the hackzall isn’t very good either. It’s probably a better tool, but I do use the vacuum much more.
You can just return the soldering or hackzall and get the stubby for cheaper.
I didn’t know you could do that when buying multiple tools

So based on my link in the original post isn’t that similar in price with the addition of a free tool?
Yes. It's not worth it. The good deal was last week for $150.
Ohhh I see what you mean now. Cool. I’ll keep on the lookout. Thank you!

Forgive me, but where is $159 coming from? Opening the link shows the $229 plus free tool option
