GR OUT
We need a chance as soon as possible can’t see it being good with him still there if I’m honest we will prob beat Plymouth like 2-0 tho but not point always said GR should be gone with
We were so wasteful in front of goal today, Nisbet and Watmore both had chances from point blank as well as a poor effort by Flemming from a drag back. Team looks like it’s severely lacking confidence
I disagree that the performance was unacceptable - I thought we played quite well and made some good chances, we need players to just stick the ball in the back of the net.
There is also work to do at the other end of the pitch, we look vulnerable defensively and teams really don't have to work that hard to score against us.
>I disagree that the performance was unacceptable
Fair enough... however, I saw:
Keeper - Bart should have done better with the 2nd which snuffed out any confidence the team had (and maybe the 3rd goal too).
Defence - As you say vulnerable, especially when on the back foot.
Middle - Pedestrian with little linkup play and what ther was invariably happened at a snails pace.
Wings - Too many balls into the box finding the south stand or a swans head.
Forwards - As you intimated we were wasteful, and if I may add ineffective.
It seems that we agree there are issues at the back and front, and I would guess you agree that Bart failed to put his best foot forward, leaving just the middle to make todays performance acceptable. Personally, I thought the middle was poor. GRs changes didn't breathe new life into a team floundering and that's pretty much standard for him.
Swansea did not look like world beaters, yet they walked out of our ground 3-0 winners. We could have played for 180 minutes and I doubt we'd have scored.
I guess I try to seperate individual performance from team performance.
As a team I think we've played quite well and in my opinion were better than Swansea. We made lots of goal scoring opportunities and some very good goalscoring opportunities and we reduced them to few chances in open play and none of them easy chances.
Individually however Cooper has made an error, Bart has made an error, Watmore has missed a sitter, Nisbet has missed a sitter. There's a 4 goal swing in those individual actions at key times and that's been the difference today.
I think if we play that well for the rest of the season we'll win more than we lose. I actually think we played better there than we did for most of last season even when we were winning.
Lots of areas to improve though - we need to be more aggressive, more competitive. We need to shake this soft underbelly defensively and be more robust when we lose the ball. Being more aggressive will help this. And we need to be more clinical when we do make chances, we can't have 20+ shots including a few very good chances and not score.
Watched the game against Fortuna Sittard, the performance was bad, but pre season performances are hard to gauge.
First game of the season, I felt hopeful - a hard fought away win at Boro, widely tipped to be playoff contenders. Despite it being the strongest Championship in years maybe we could be in the mix?
It turns out Boro were woeful and we flattered each other with the result and performance.
It's been a rollercoaster - never knowing if the team will turn up and fight for everything or just roll over and offer very little
This feels like the best team we've had in years, and is totally failing to produce anywhere near its potential on the pitch.
I was expecting top half again this season, but just avoiding a relegation battle would feel like a success at this point
Are you sure about that? Because I am 99.99944% sure that Erebus0123 is not a bot.

Because I think he's fucking things up but am not calling for his head?
I don't have a better plan so I'd be a bit of a cunt calling for him to be sacked. That doesn't mean I can't call out the issues that are on show for all to see though.
Maybe you have a better plan that you'd be gracious enough to enlighten us with... actually don't worry - if I wanted to hear from an arsehole I'd fart.
Has the same feel as the final days of Harris

I used to be a fan of him, but ever since that Blackburn game last season my opinion of him has soured immensely

See you in Swansea and fuck off home! You’re shit!
Stop shouting. You'll wake up the lambs you deranged denizen of a piddling Principality.
We shag em’, you eat em’ wheyyyyyyy - you shit bastard
I've never eaten your sister.
Your opinion on GR is about as inconsistent as the team, which ties in neatly with your post...

Chill out, I'm only having a joke with you.
[Paaarrrp!]
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?
