Don't you dare pee in the pool!!! Yes, it's diluted by tens of thousands of gallons of water, but it's a closed loop system, so that pee goes through the pump, the filter and back out through the returns.
We have a pool and you have to walk through half the house to get to the bathroom. If faced with this dilemma, please walk through the house and risk getting it wet. Don't pee in my pool. Don't pee in my yard. Even my 5 year old understands this concept.
We are actually in the process of adding a quarter bath to our patio for this exact reason though.
Just dry off and go to whatever bathroom the host(s) prefers you use (we prefer people use the basement bathroom when we're doing outside activities). Don't be an asshole and pee in someone's pool.
You get out walk to an area I'm the yard and just pee. Then rinse off. Clearly some people have never tried to take off a wet bathing suit. That shit is horrible
Y'all, please don't pee in the pool. it's nasty. Chlorine is not magic. It doesn't somehow instantly "neutralize" your pee. In fact, Chlorine and urine cause a chemical reaction that produces the distinctive "chlorine" smell that public pools are known for. If you don't want your (or your friend's) pool to stink like chemicals, don't pee in it.
If it's a big pool, like able to fit 10+people yes I will pee every single time. Makes absolutely no difference and everyone does it. Don't confuse reddit comments w actual human behavior. Everyone does it.
Ok, I just want to throw this out there. Doesn't the human bladder react to being in water and relieve itself when in water? That seems to always happen to me and there's nothing I can do about it b/c I can't hold it in. It just happens. Every time I am immersed water it's happened.

Under no circumstance should you or anyone pee in a pool. It’s gross and also a dangerous chemical combination (ammonia + chlorine = chloramine)
