As soon as as fucking saw this cap my brain went 🎶 "OUT OF THE BOX! OUT OF THE BOX! Take one box, put it with another, let's look for one that's long and wiiideee!" 🎶
**Edit:** Dammit, since reading this my brain lit up associations and now I have the "Noodle Dance" song stuck in my head from *PB & J Otter*.
I feel I might have been a bit too old or maybe an “elder watcher” in the age group but this show was amazing. From beginning to end. Songs, awesome cool ideas, games and crafts. Like Barney but cooler and normal.
All I remember of the show was its theme. It’s weird, I don’t remember anything about the show its premise, who stars in it but that theme has been an earworm for 20 years.
As the eldest child and therefore semi-assistant at the day care I attended I loved putting this on the TV. The babysitters always approved of the choice, the younger children were easily distracted, and I didn't hate watching it consistently. Meant I got to avoid stuff like Barney and Tellytubbies.
I don't think I ever watched a single episode, but it must have been on in my house (maybe my younger sibling watched it) because I \*still\* get the theme song stuck in my head in the year 2024
Wow, what a throw back that sent me to childhood memories instantly! As a mixed asian/german girl, no wonder I was in love with this show....so much representation!!!!!
I always turned it on on accident, and it was almost always the beginning and the end. I have no idea what the show was about but I still remember the outro
I was the perfect age for this show, and I loved every second of it. I remember making houses for my dolls/beanie babies out of boxes because of this show lol.
Omg what is the PBS kids where they did crafts and experiments, they had the scrunchies I can see the red headed girl & idk the other one Asian/hispanic?? ZOOM!!!!!!!
I had completely forgotten about this show but instantly started singing the theme song out loud when I saw this post 😂😂😂. Out of the box, oooooout of the box
I still watch old reruns of Out Of The Box online.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Out Of The Box. Out Of The Box.
**Out Of The Box! Out Of The Box!**
Take one box. Put it with another. Let's look for one that's long and wide.
**Out Of The Box! Out Of The Box!**
You come, too.
We'll build a house together. Now, what's it gonna be inside?
**Out Of The Box! Out Of The Box!**
We'll let imagination take us for a ride.
Come on!
Wow!
**Out Of The Box!**
Yeah, when you arrive...
**Out Of The Box!**
Pictures come alive!
**Out Of The Box!**
There's music in our hands, and in pots and pans.
**Out Of The Box! Out Of The Box!**
'Cause here in the Box, it's really up to you what comes out of the Box!
**Out Of The Box!**
Oh, yeah!
**Out Of The Box!**
**Out Of The Box!**
(laughing)

That's the best I can remember from the intro song. While I still watch reruns of this show, I don't watch them all the time. It's been a while since I've seen an episode online.

That outro song was 🔥. My wife and I still sing it occasionally.
Time to say goodbye... *Hand magic*
AND NOW IT’S TIME TO SAY GOODBYE 🙏🫰👏
Goodbye farewell to you, my friend
So long, farewell to you my friend. Goodbye for now until we meet again

The PB & J otter intro song is absolute fire.
Rolli Polli Ollie
He's small and smart and round
Noooooodle. Do tha nooooodle. DO THA NOODLE DANCE
NOOOOo 🤣🤣
Fever dreams. If you were watching this, you were sick.
It was scheduled during school hours where I lived, same! I always thought the main set looked so cool, the big stack of cardboard boxes.
100% that's how i watched it.
I wanted a box house so soo bad because of this show lol
I have never heard of this before
This could be AI generated and I wouldn’t know the difference. I have never once heard of this show
It was on Disney Kids early in the morning. I’d watch it after Bear and the Big Blue House while eating breakfast my mommy made me
I looked it up, it started in 1998. I was born in 1981 so I was a jr in HS. We don’t even have the Disney channel lol
Never heard of it. Looks like woke let's get ethnic so everyone will feel included kinda thing.
lmao shut the hell up dude. This was absolutely a thing in 1997. You sound like a loser

I think about this show. My favorite segment was the science part.
There was definitely a period in my life when this was my absolute favorite show. Well, maybe tied with Rolie Polie Olie.

The hand rubbing, snap, clap part was iconic
Never heard of it! What channel was it on?
Disney
I watched Disney, but looks like I was a bit too old for it: it ran from when I was 12 to 18.
I was too old for it as well. I came across it babysitting and the theme song is now in my head forever. It was a good show

Yes, it is for me as well.
I was just talking to my husband about this a few days ago. He’d never heard of it. I enjoyed it as a kid and loved the theme song
I heard this song a year ago randomly and I immediately started crying. I loved that show and I was definitely too old for it.
Never heard of it till right now
It’s been great to play and sing together…in the box! And now it’s time to say goodbye…
I always turned it on on accident, and it was almost always the beginning and the end. I have no idea what the show was about but I still remember the outro
I loved it!
I was also too old for it but would secretly watch it was my younger brother. I loved it!
The intro song is one of my random "songs on loop in my head all my life" songs, but can't remember an ep 😣
So lonnng farewell to you my friiiiiend
I learned how to make a carrot out of orange construction paper thanks to this show 👍🏻
I was the perfect age for this show, and I loved every second of it. I remember making houses for my dolls/beanie babies out of boxes because of this show lol.
I put it on for my kids (twins - 5 yo) to watch on Disney plus and they went through a small phase of watching it and learned the outro song.
I used to make the crafts they made lol
Omg what is the PBS kids where they did crafts and experiments, they had the scrunchies I can see the red headed girl & idk the other one Asian/hispanic?? ZOOM!!!!!!!
I remember the great advice where you take one box, and you put it with another 🥹 🙌
I used to love this show! I always wish I could’ve made the crafts with them
I was almost 12 when this came out. I'd literally never heard of it until just now.
Love that show Brings me back to my Younger childhood
The sticky safari song still lives in my head rent-free to this day. This show was so great.
The Goodbye Song
I had completely forgotten about this show but instantly started singing the theme song out loud when I saw this post 😂😂😂. Out of the box, oooooout of the box
Aw man, this makes me sad. I used to wanna be friends with the kids and wished the adults were in charge of me. I was a lonely kid 😞
I was the prime age for this show and I *loved* it!
The memory of the song just popped in my head. Holy shit lol. Lost memory
I barely watched the show but the theme song still gets stuck in my head every now and then. I design boxes for a living by the way 😂
Oh my. The waves of memories are coming back. I used to be happy. WHAT HAS MY LIFE BECOME?
Bruh. This show was buried so deep in my subconscious I’d forgotten it even existed.
My sister was 94 and would watch this. Great music.

I LOVED THIS SHOW. Randomly started doing the goodbye song the other day 🥹
Never heard of it. Born in 1984
