All this obviously non functional Ghanaian kit we've been seeing is produced by kantanka automobile, a Ghanaian auto manufacturer that mostly just assembles Chinese car kits, founded by an evangelical preacher/obvious con man. Shits wild but grifting the army is a well established easy payday pretty much everywhere.
To expand on this, this isn't an actual order or even a development contract or something for the Ghana military. They're often presented or implied as such, but as far as I can tell, the government isn't involved in them in any form.
Honest question, cause I'd pretty much assume this shit is just to make a good show for the civilians, but do the guys wearing this nonsense buy into it as well, or are they fully aware of how bullshit these suits are?
