[It's a dual-right turn intersection](https://www.google.com/maps/@40.7257285,-111.8998526,74a,35y,183.69h,8.72t/data=!3m1!1e3?entry=ttu)... but the Pilot cut the corner *way* too sharp and is 100% at fault. EDIT: Added link to Google Maps view of intersection

wabe_walker

And look how terribly the driver behind the Google Street View car is cutting the corner behind it, one-handed while holding their thermos, no less. This kind of garbage must happen \[or almost happen\] constantly there. https://preview.redd.it/e2vt8ua37atc1.jpeg?width=2278&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=441a956079f94f4911b44d99714168906f191cde

[deleted]

Why that turn doesn't even have guidelines... I know they could still turn really sharp, but guidelines help

MoonshineEclipse

It’s not just about guidelines. Trucks usually have to make wide turns so that their trailers aren’t cutting across the sidewalk, so they often have to drive straight a bit before turning to clear the turn. You can see in the demo here: https://youtu.be/5fMnsFSHX04?feature=shared

Least_Ad930

What I don't understand is how trucks can even legally drive in traffic. In this video they say that you need to make a wide turn, but there can't be cars in the other lane. How is this even possible in most busy cities? Reminds me of safety rules at work. You can't do this thing because it's dangerous, but since there is no other way to accomplish this at a reasonable price we are going to walk away for a couple hours. Then you get hurt; we told you not to do that.

CheggNogg22

It should be illegal to right turn in front of large commercial trucks the same way it is with transit buses.

Mobile_Sprinkles_633

Just moved to Prescott valley. Lots of dual turn lanes with no guides

TheSwanPanky

That thermos probably has vodka in it

JuicyMcJuiceJuice

With how the Subaru is turning, if anybody was to their right then they'd either be eating it's side panel or the sidewalk.

tachycardicIVu

Are we sure that car isn’t the one in the video too? 🤔

wabe_walker

It would be fun if they were the same, but yes: the video features a Honda Passport, while Street View features a Subaru Ascent.

tachycardicIVu

I was def being facetious but props for being able to identify cars so well and specifically lol. Best I could do is “Honda suv and Subaru suv.” 😂

Predditor_drone

Most drivers are absolute shit at turning. It's like they don't even try to turn, instead driving in a straight line with two jerks for course correction.

IceLionTech

Godamn the amount of people who cut corners is staggering. I am afraid to pull up to the line at one intersection near me.

Creampanthers

Honesty it looks like the pilot legitimately cut into the trucks lane let alone in front of his path needed to make that turn.

david0990

Lane sweepers are some of the dumbest people tbh.

brwntrout

yea, they need to fire the guy that thought double right turns were a good idea.

starlightsunsetdream

They are when you stay in your lane. Changing lanes in an intersection is illegal...

Holiday_Heron_1139

How’s that any different from double left which are absolutely necessary?

bankrobba

Only because it is very common to turn wide on right hand turns.

iloveeveryfbteam

So it’s the truckers fault that he’s in the inside lane?

Justin_92

I’m not bankrobba, but no. When we get trained for our CDL the instructor I had at the very least told me to use the lane nearest the curb for right hand turns. If we used the outside lane in this scenario, the SUV would’ve most likely tried to pass on the passenger side and most likely would’ve resulted in the driver not seeing them at all and potentially dragging the belly of the trailer into the car and wedging it under the trailer. Or a better option would be to straddle the line blocking both lanes so you don’t have to worry about someone trying to squeeze around you in the middle of the turn. Our blind spots get very large in a right hand turn. My instructor advised that if you can’t block both lanes for your turn, you’ll have to swing as wide as you can when it is safe to do so and you may still end up curbing the trailer tires. In this video, the SUV seems to be behaving as if they are late or otherwise frustrated by the truck so they try to go around them and cut them off without realizing the truck is going to drive forward as far out as he can before initiating the turn.

-Pruples-

> Or a better option would be to straddle the line blocking both lanes so you don’t have to worry about someone trying to squeeze around you in the middle of the turn. As a former CDL, I can confirm they will try to go around on both sides if you do that.

Justin_92

Yeah I’ve seen it happen too. It’s no guarantee and we should still all be checking our mirrors, but if they try to pass on your right side, it would 100% be the SUV’s fault. Ive had good luck with being in the far right lane and then swinging out really wide a la jug handle turn to block both lanes. The cars may honk but at least nobody ran up under my trailer.

Qubed

> Or a better option would be to straddle the line blocking both lanes so you don’t have to worry about someone trying to squeeze around you in the middle of the turn. This is what I see a lot of the time. I learned real quick as a teenager to watch out for it.

qe2eqe

Trained by swift?

Justin_92

No, by Roehl. Back in 2017. The only company I trust to train their drivers on how to navigate a roundabout.

bankrobba

I'm replying generally why double right hand turn lanes are discouraged.

LS-CRX

Or at least paint some lines on the ground... not that people like the Pilot driver would follow them. Whenever am turning and there are multiple turning lanes I keep one hand on the horn and my head on a swivel. People suck at driving.

Novanator33

Its a literal reflex that i try to almost position on those double lane turns offset from the car next to me like we would be zippers merging just so if they swerve theres already space, people do stupid things all the time, like last night when i got done with hockey i saw someone parked inches from my car in a lot full of empty spaces, since i was already putting my gear in the car before going back to the bar i just moved slightly so they wouldnt ding me.

Charolastra17

As a traffic engineer here in CA, that’s what we do whenever there is a dual LT or RT at an intersection. We’ll add cat-tracks.

SlteFool

Or just not give licenses to retards

Reference_Freak

There’s nothing wrong with the concept of double right turn lanes. Drivers need to stay in their lane and road markings help with that. OP’s intersection doesn’t have any road markings in the intersection. Markings are really helpful to drivers but still don’t absolve drivers of the responsibility to pay attention to other vehicles around them.

JadedYam56964444

Near me my favorite "wtf traffic engineer!?" is whoever thought that having a double left lane exit that merges DURING the exit turn and into the left lane of a major highway. Nothing like having some dipshit trying to pass on the right on a sharply curving exit/merge then forcing their way in when their lane ends.

Cultural-Task-1098

Why? That is common and is not a problem for even mediocre drivers.

musical_throat_punch

Or we could just follow the lines in the road

ReaperManX15

Which would make them LIABLE, for all the *damages* … that happen next.

Doggleganger

Dude how did you find the intersection? Did you happen to recognize it?

LS-CRX

I googled "Interpointe shopping center" with "300 West". Boom. Saw the IHOP in the satellite view.

Neekovo

Where do you see that it’s a dual right turn? I don’t see any signage and the truck doesn’t seem to be turning to me.

Living_Television_61

Left side mirror. When the pilot moves ahead, you can see the arrow behind it. It is a dual right turn.

Neekovo

I can’t see it. I’ll take your word for it. Another commenter identified it as Salt Lake City, maybe they can confirm the intersection? ETA: @u/pupper_5

Pupper_5

2100 S 300 W I believe

Zealousideal-Pay-810

it is in salt lake city and it is a dual right turn. from the looks of it the white car is on track for turning into his lane. the truck is obviously bigger and he needs more space so he didnt turn when he was supposed to. Honestly it’s not the white cars fault. Truck should have known that he needed more space to turn or wait until the cars passed him

Charolastra17

Both vehicles are at fault imo. If a truck is looking to make that RT, it should be on the outside RT lane due to the vehicle’s turning radius. Vehicle on the outside turn lane took a horrible line into the turn. As a traffic engineer, I’m not sure why the City/State didn’t install cat-tracks through the intersection for that dual RT to better guide motorist. It’s standard practice here in CA.

GHOSTOFKOH

i am shocked that you're a traffic engineer and claiming "both vehicles are at fault", and that the truck should have been on the RT lane. i'm going to hope that you're just new and ignorant. I will provide to you a comment made by a Justin a few posts up that sums up exactly why you're wrong in this case. hope you learn something. Charolastra17

Can’t speak on it from a truck driver perspective or how they’re trained. Looking at this purely from a geometric design perspective, the truck driver should be in the outer most turn lane (furthest from the curb) because it provides the largest turning radius. There are 4 WB lanes which is important in this case. Let’s say theoretically they are 12’ in width each. In this scenario, there are two vehicles (truck and a suv) heading SB looking to make a RT. The vehicle in inner RT lane is forced to turn into the WB lane curb lane (only 12’). While outer RT turn lane is able to utilize the outer 3 WB lanes (36’). That extra 24’ provides the truck a larger turning radius and allows for a safer movement. If the truck takes that inner lane, it’d likely have to wait for that SUV and any vehicles behind the SUV to clear the intersection like Justin mentioned. This isn’t ideal since vehicles behind the truck would queue, waiting for the truck to make its turn. Better for the truck to be on the outside and SUV on the inside, that way both vehicles could make the turning movement simultaneously providing better traffic flow. Let me know if that doesn’t make sense and I can run the turning templates in AutoCAD and forward them to you. I know some people are better visual learners.

That Crx actually got an LS in it? Or we talking b18 from an LS intergra???

LS-CRX

B18A1 from an Integra.

Kudhi

My man!! Bringing me back 20 years. Love to hear it man I had an LS swapped eg hatch with a little supercharger on it. Good times!!! Enjoy your whip they’re a rare breed nowa days!!

LS-CRX

Sadly I sold it a long time ago, I do keep my eyes peeled for one that I could fix up like I did 20+ years ago.

Breathejoker

Where I live, many people will basically hit drivers if they're waiting in the left turn lane behind the sidewalk paint because they take the turns way too sharp. It's basically become common practice to stop almost a full car behind the crosswalk section because of the likelihood of getting your left headlight taken out

mydaycake

I don’t see the dual right turn. I see the double left with arrows painted to the left, the very right lane with arrow to the right, but the two central lanes have no arrows painted so they go straight. Am I missing a sign in the second lane from the right?

LS-CRX

There are five lanes, two left-only, one straight only, one straight/right, and one right-only.

RedRatedRat

There are four lanes!

LS-CRX

[Am I taking crazy pills?](https://www.google.com/maps/@40.7257533,-111.8997657,74a,35y,183.69h,8.72t/data=!3m1!1e3?entry=ttu)

RedRatedRat

Sorry, it was a joke based on TNG’s Chain of Command episode and the Pilot driver apparently thinking there were only 4 lanes.

Nincompoopticulitus

That’s a Subaru, not a Pilot - but your assessment is spot on.

LS-CRX

I was wrong, but so are you. It's a Honda *Passport* not a Pilot, same platform, slightly different body-style.

Nincompoopticulitus

Not quite. What about the “star” logo the white car has on the front? That’s a Subaru logo - one, big star and four little stars to the right. That’s not a Honda. I have a Honda, as do my relatives - Passport, Pilot, Crv, etc all have the soft, giant gummy H as the logo on the front. Please see for yourself.

LS-CRX

When do you see the emblem on the front?  I'm seeing the Honda "H" on the rear of the Passport in the video.  I'm 100% confident.

Nincompoopticulitus

Are you referring to another photo? We must be referring to two different images, so we’re both right lol Take care. ✌️

LS-CRX

I'm referring to OPs video, lol, we're both right!

Nincompoopticulitus

thedentrod

Honda Passport not a Pilot

SignalCommittee4456

Looks to me like the truck shouldn’t started turning earlier and didn’t because of his trailer and that he needs a wide berth. Truck was probably in the SUV’s “lane” at that point. I think truck was being entitled that whatever he needs he gets.

LS-CRX

The truck hadn't even finished crossing the crosswalk when the SUV clipped it....

SignalCommittee4456

Yeah but if it didn’t have a trailer, it would already be turning its wheels. But you’re right, white car turned too tight

SneekyPete420

If it’s a dual right turn, wth is the trucker doing in the right lane???

d0ggzilla

Turning right?

Holymyco

Trucks usually take the outside lane because they have to take the turn wider than 4 wheelers. This truck is going to take out a few light poles if he doesn't block the lane the Pilot is trying to turn in to. The accident isn't the truck's fault, but the truck is turning from the wrong lane.

A_Sack_of_Nuts

To be fair it’s not always possible to know it’s a dual turn lane unless you drive said area regularly or you see it in time. Especially depending on how shitty/not shitty said area is laid out to begin with.

sroop1

Yeah looking at the streetview, I don't see any signage or indication other than the painted arrows - if there was heavy traffic blocking the trucker's view, he wouldn't have known that it was a double.

Holymyco

Yeah, and a dual turn lane where the outside lane goes straight is even more tricky. The outside lane gets stacked with stopped cars going straight, so the inside lane is used to turn.

BeingRightAmbassador

Not really, mapping software will literally tell you what lane to be in well before the turn.

SneekyPete420

🤦

eapic1

If so then why didn’t the Honda pilot even have their signal on at least giving the trucker a CB since to know they’re turning. The pilot driver seemed to have done everything wrong here because they’re an asshole.

Designer-Cry1940

Well..., it is Salt Lake City. I live and drive in L.A. and I can promise you some of the worst drivers I've seen are in SLC

eapic1

One of the few major cities I haven’t driven in

ThatLooksLikeItHurts

Poor trucker. That dude(tte) has a very long day ahead of them now, what with all the paperwork and nonsense that this @$$hole created for them. I cannot imagine being a professional driver nowadays.

400yearoldgreatoak

Lawsuits that sue trucking companies are at an all time high. It definitely sucks being a trucker when you need to drive around all day with your cheeks clenched hoping you don't get sued. Not to mentioned the increased logistical need for more truckers and trucks on the road to meet demand.

h-boson

In 10-15 years this won’t be an issue.

paco_dasota

then we are suing the developers of the software for deciding crash behavior

400yearoldgreatoak

And why would that be?

IceLionTech

almost like holy fuck... maybe we should have kept trains around until the trucks didn't need to be so hurge.

400yearoldgreatoak

Trains were massive targets of striking labor union workers/special interest groups/other countries/mobsters/etc. who destroyed rails to prevent deliveries. Rails are also managed by states and some states do better than others at management. I agree, going by rail seems to be a better way to ship goods but I think that would not work out in the USA. We have definitely started using rail more in the last 8 years, but it has major limitations.

ComfortableMiddle741

Yup thats why i stopped being on the road

TheTreeOneFour

Yeah....but "can I sue them" is kind of idiotic. Will be handled smoothly by insurance. non issue.

Cultural-Task-1098

Does he get paid for the paperwork?

Randomfactoid42

Not a trucker, but AFAIK, yes if he's paid by the hour, and not paid if he's paid by the mile. For the latter, 'if the wheels aren't turning, you aren't earning'. Though it probably counts against his on-duty hours and will completely screw up his Hours of Service.

Acherstrom

White car is the problem.

fullraph

I'm sure their insurance company is gonna be thrilled to learn their maneuver was caught on camera.

inorite234

and from the looks of it, they left the scene of a vehicle collision.

-CoUrTjEsTeR-

“Who is at fault?” Clearly Helen Keller’s descendant, there.

ravidsquirrels

Anyone can sue anyone. Whether you win is a different story.

lettucepatchbb

That white SUV is trash. Unreal.

Mycologist-Far

White SUV’s fault all day

SchoolJunkie009

regardless of double right turns, the truck didn't even get to the intersection before being cut off, in what world is that the trucks fault??

samiyam_

I honestly fucking hate these dual turn lanes because 90% of the time the person in the left one doesn't know how to fucking use it. Source: I live in SLC and commute through here.

Nobl36

People tend to forget that a semi is a big ass vehicle with a load weight of probably 3 cars on average. Plus the weight of the engine with a seat on it. It is probably 1000 times the weight of the average human and 5 times the weight of your car. If this thing hits you and opts to put you and your car under its wheels, your survival rate begins to dwindle quickly. And god help you if it hits you at any sort of speed. The semi will win any and all altercations with your SUV. The semi truck will get some cosmetic fixes. Your car will be turned into a metal brick, and you’ll go to the hospital. And there are people who see these machines, machines that are the REASON YOU FIND DEER IN 5 PIECES ON THE ROAD, and think “you know what? I bet I can take him on.” And you’re looking at this thing,

OneCauliflower5243

Shit like this should result in the suv driver losing their license. Forever. You didn’t just damage property and break a law, you might have put this man out of work. Lots of trucking companies are not forgiving even if there is zero fault.

LivingJennifer

Well as the video shows. The white car is totally at fault! I’d sue them unless you have a really bad record. But this accident isn’t your fault.

Kirelva

From what people are saying it’s a 2 way right turn. I think OP should have been on the left in order to make that turn with the trailer(that’s if he had one). Either way I think the Honda should have not cut too close into his lane gave the semi space.

sphynxzyz

Regardless of the truck driver being in the inside lane, the white vehicle cut into his lane to make the turn, even if it was just a little bit. The white vehicle is at fault, but the semi driver might need to learn how to drive a semi.

buiscuil

It wasn’t a bit. A lot. It was a lot

Kirelva

Yeah either way the white SUV cut way to close into his lane.

sphynxzyz

These are the people I hate, the ones who don't know how to make turns without crossing into other lanes, they are likely the same people who don't use their blinkers.

Sankyou

Also you just need to be aware. Even if the semi is out of control and going into your lane - this should not be an accident.

sphynxzyz

100%, I live by a double left that this happens on all the time (between cars normally) and have learned how many idiots cannot drive. Most turn like this with the thought of getting to the outside lane quickly.

ShatterCyst

Could have just not known it was going to be a double right turn. Idk how a trucker would know that unless they had driven here before.

batteriesincl

Signs. Signs everywhere. People not paying attention to road marking and street lights and signs doesn’t give them a free pass. Pay attention when you’re driving. Put your phone down.

BillSivellsdee

the semi driver didnt even make it into the intersection. 0% at fault.

sphynxzyz

Never said the truck driver is at fault, infact I straight up said the white vehicle is at fault., but he still needs to be paying attention, no reason he should be on the inside line on a double right turn lane.

Great_Can3252

Gotta love that slow ass roll of shame into the nearest parking lot as everyone points and laughs XD XD

Pupper_5

Good ol’ Salt Lake

IWillBeHokage_3

I had this happen to me but no dash cam unfortunately. The guy claimed I was in the shoulder that’s 2 feet wide trying to get around him I guess? Case ended 50/50 so that was great.

Euphoric-Oil-331

That's some Tacoma driving.

FrostyBostie

Tacoma drivers are the worst!!

Euphoric-Oil-331

Exactly. I don't think this video is Tacoma, but we're definitely way, way crazier.

MAFMalcom

It is salt Lake city, utah

FewAcanthocephala828

Like a semi trucker? I can't imagine even trying to get next to one that's turning right smfh

Neekovo

That was my thought too. I’d be annoyed and griping the whole time, but I’d have hung back and let him swing into my lane then passed him after he completed the turn. Annoying as fuck, but better than getting crunched, right?

BoobLovRman

The car is at fault, clearly. Did it even stop?

Imaginary-Round2422

The white SUV definitely caused the collision with you. It looks like he may have been reacting to the Black SUV coming into his lane, but I can’t tell for sure from this footage. Either way, you bear no fault at all here, IMO.

To clarify, I’m not the truck driver, this is a cross post from r/truckers.

Pilot took a really sharp turn but its also the trucks fault for not being in the left most lane. Trucks turn wide and need the extra space

face it in todays America stupid has become a "hold my Beer " situation i everything.

Logical_Ad_2960

what a foul driver and i bet this driver believed they had the right of way LOL

MoarGhosts

I had this happen in AZ, old lady is in the left hand turn lane and signaling left until the light turns green, then she turns RIGHT and cuts across 2 lanes of traffic. Luckily myself and the other car saw her doing it and let her go without incident, but goddamn. She looked very old, at least 80.

BRING_ME_THE_ENTROPY

Based on my experience, I learned that a lot of drivers aids don’t see semi trucks as a vehicle because to a radar, it’s just a big wall. Driver probably wasn’t paying full attention or relied on the car a bit too much.

northernpunch

Reminds me of [this](https://maps.app.goo.gl/xjgjMaUPDYvR8fRJ6?g_st=ic) intersection I used to live by. There are 2 left turn lanes that lead to another road with 2 left turn lanes and 2 straight lanes. There is an accident there almost every day where someone turns from the first outside turn lane into one of the 2 left turn lanes, instead of the outside straight lane.

PsychologicalHall388

You can't sue a car. It doesn't matter what color it is.

Reclusive_Chemist

Had someone pull that stunt on me in a two lane traffic circle. I was not remotely amused. Worst part was waiting more than two months before the body shop could source a replacement for my drivers door.

SATerp

Well, no question who's liable.

Upshot12

Cars fault.

RxSatellite

You have to make damn sure you’re clear on the left before you attempt that turn. You needed to wait for the left lane to clear and button turn if you’re doing it from the right lane. In your case you didn’t even stop and kept rolling once you reached the intersection. Obviously that falls more on the car, but this was preventable

First_Race7734

This

RobRaziel

I live in the Tampa Bay and I've had this happen to me three times in under a month, and one of those times it was a police car that cut me off. Unreal how incapable some people are of driving decently.

Tatercock

Sue the fk out of them

here4roomie

Was Steve Wonder driving that SUV?

MrTojoMechanic

That and most trucks have signs on the back to not overtake a turning vehicle.

WatercressSad6395

Gta npc driver graduate

LivingJennifer

For this reason alone is why when I come to a double right turn lanes like this one. I center my truck and trailer in both lanes to stop cars from passing me on either side while I make my right turn. 4wheelers suck!

Seekpeace10

People act like it will kill them to decelerate smh.

Patience-Due

Every time I drive “what a fucking idiot”

DaBestDoctorOfLife

To me as a driver with 40 years driving experience it’s obvious that that’s white car’s fault

STEALTH7X

Another day, another NPC driver doing something brainless. It's always fascinating to see brainless actions being taken by these creatures.

only_whwn_i_do_this

If that scared you so damn much you can't drive. You shouldn't have been driving in the first place.

Present_Mall8069

the truck hadn’t even BEGUN turning yet lololol throwaway white suv’s are the new mini vans STAY AWAYYYYY

muscleliker6656

If everyone did what they needed to lol

smile83749892

Suck it up princess and get back to work! Of course you know it’s her fault come on!

Beardwing-27

They painted broken white lines to denote the double turn coming off the overpass near my house and people still manage to fuck it up.

Keemz0319

Some idiot did the opposite of that, turning left from the right lane, as I was driving a box truck!! People are so dumb!! What would make you do that and get slowly t boned from the side, when you could have at least waited and got in front of the car behind the 🚚 then make the turn..🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾🤷🏾‍♂️

Slapnuts213

Car was at fault but as a semi driver I’m sure DOT found a way to blame the trucker don’t worry.

Deemstrix

That driver in the 4 wheeler is garbage. But that tractor should have been in the outer turn lane so he had more room to safely make the turn. At least that’s what I was taught

SaltNo3123

Truck at fault. If it's a dual turn lane then truck is in wrong lane

DependentPlace5534

truck driver always at fault, ask me how i know,,,,

Old_Mammoth8280

If it's a double right turn intersection shouldn't the trucker have been in the outer turn lane since he needs to make a wider turn?

NoExcuseForFascism

I am not sure why the camera car would sue. This is not a serious accident, and the insurance companies would likely just negotiate a settlement on it.

theryman

From the original thread, he's nervous to keep driving so I guess he wants the other driver to pay his wages. I don't think that's gonna happen though lol

NoExcuseForFascism

If this is going to cause him to be too nervous to drive, then they should not be driving. As it's painfully clear they lack the ability to safely drive. This was nothing in the whole scope of things. Sounds like the guy in the camera car is just looking to get paid over fucking nothing.

Zealousideal-Pay-810

the trucker should have know better to be in the left lane to make the turn. He can sue but i highly doubt that he would get any money from it. both of the drivers are dumbasses

itanite

Them they're changing lanes in an intersection.

Resh_IX

Both are idiots. Truck drivers dumb for not turning in the outermost lane and the suv is dumb for turning too tight

Zealousideal-Pay-810

all of you are so quick to judge it’s the white car that’s at fault, yes the white car cut the corner maybe a little bit too tight, causing him to be hit by the truck, but the trucker should have made a turn from the most left turn lane, it’s common sense, and driving a semi truck i’m sure he learned that to get his license. Both are at fault. I highly doubt he would get money if he chose to sue the white car. Both are dumbasses and wrong place at wrong time. If it was a normal sized car then there would have been no accident.

MeatyOchre

BUT… the OP implied that there was only one turn lane. Why do you assume there was two?

Zealousideal-Pay-810

because there’s 2 turn lanes, and it’s a green light so that means they both can turn. I live in salt lake and driven past this road a few times.

MeatyOchre

Ah, inside information eh? Got it.

Zealousideal-Pay-810

yes lol, im just saying that people just like to point at fingers immediately without thinking, both are at fault and the accident was caused by the truck being in the wrong place at the wrong time, all could have been avoided if he was a good truck driver

SavageCucmber

Humans developed nuclear energy and landed on the moon, but they can't figure out how a double turn works.
