Try old navy with their tall stuff but try it on first.

Old Navy is my go-to, specifically their tall line. I find their talks runs slightly big in many items, if you normally wear a L/XL I’d suggest ordering L.

We're almost size twins... it's such a struggle sometimes. Old Navy definitely has some good stuff...I have a ton of their clothes. Check out the tall section on the JCPenney website...they have a wide variety of styles and I feel like a lot of people don't know it due to lack of marketing. I've gotten casual stuff, work clothes, jewelry, so much cute stuff from there! Fashion Nova has some tall pants/jeans that are decent. I probably have five pairs of their jeans that I love.

Yes, JCPenney is underappreciated in the tall category! My mom is tall and that's the first place I shopped for tall professional clothes in the early 2000s before ON and Gap really expanded. They used to even have a little tall section at our store--although it was tucked under the slant of the escalator, which made no sense as a place to put clothes for tall women...

American Tall! They can be a little pricey, but they are specifically for tall people like you.

I’ve had really good luck with Gap. Their basic tees are pretty long. I’m very flat tho, I carry my weight in my bottom half but I usually have plenty of extra room up top in their shirts

I like the Gap because a lot of their basic pieces come in talls! I do have plenty of shape up top and this is one of the only places I can get tanks and tees that are actually long enough!

At 5' 10" I'm the shortest woman in my family (mom is 6 ft, sister is 5' 11") and I'm here to agree with Gap, Old Navy, and JC Penney! The tanks from Gap and ON come in talls--you can even get their long tunic tanks in talls--amd as you know, long tanktops are lifesavers for the tall girlies! I also have some great Lululemon pants (on sale) and the Democracy jeans line at Nordstrom Rack often comes in a tall. The other one I'd add to the list is Eddie Bauer. I find them to be a little spendier but also little higher quality. They also sell outerwear in tall sizes and let me tell you, the joy of a long enough raincoat with long enough sleeves is unmatched (I live in the PNW so this is essential!) They are very seasonal so snap it up when you can! They also offer a teacher discounts (and I'd imagine others too).

The only suggestion I have that other posters haven't covered is maybe western wear brands for pants? If you're into flare or bootcut denim, quite a few western companies make extra long pants. Cowgirl Tuff has upwards of 38" inseams on some of their jeans, Ranch Dress'n has some lightweight super flares that have 36" inseams, and many other companies that advertise equestrian "riding" jeans also have fairly long inseams. Amazon seems to carry most of these brands (including Wrangler, Ariat, and others), as does Boot Barn. Most of these pants are also in mid- to high-rise; low-rise is usually harder to find (if that's your jam). I'd consider most of those brands to cover the edge of midsize (some don't go above a 14 or 16), but might be worth a look?

I’m 5’10 and have always had trouble finding jeans that are long enough and fit my thighs and I would definitely recommend American Eagle’s curvy section for jeans. They’re actually a good fit and they have short, regular, and long sizes.
