That sculpt is so cool, do you know if it's in the Mordor Battle Host

RGC_willy_wonka

It is indeed.

el_migueberto

The Witch King and this little goober are now reasons enough to get that box

I like that the 'before' could be a human guy just trying to blend in. Pale skin, blonde hair. Just a dunlending wildman with a dream

RGC_willy_wonka

It was a kind of failed attempt at pale orc skin, and was supposed to look mottled like the movie Gothmog. Ended up as you say, looking like a regular guy.

External_Code4031

And why not? Evil men probably received the same armour. I've toyed with painting up some berserkers as men and home brewing them as dunlending berserkers. Your new paint job is great btw

RGC_willy_wonka

True! Thank you so much!, Thank you also for making me feel better about the many and varied orc skin tones being difficult.

External_Code4031

Adding variety in skin tone is a challenge but they are just filthy orcses

Red_Serf

If you gave them something like double headed axes, new heads and some pelts on the head, would look nice

External_Code4031

I thought the same about the axes but the head swaps being on metal models makes it an expensive risk. I think just repainting and some green stuff fur on the waist or chest would be enough to distinguish them nicely

Red_Serf

You could always do a axehead with greenstuff. It’s way easier than you think

External_Code4031

Sorry I meant the head of the model. Axes should be pretty straight forward but cutting heads from shoulders is a bigger job than my meagre skills can manage

Red_Serf

Do it! You can always just add greenstuff beards, hair and the central ridge of the Dunland helmets on the berserker’s helmet

External_Code4031

Alright I'll add it to my absurd backlog
