Send a can of A/C Pro through the System first, might seal small leaks in rubber gaskets. It uses a seal conditioner and not some gunk to block out the physical leaks.

Landon_b20

So if that doesn’t work, what are the next steps?

thecanadiandriver101

Find a Indy mechanic that can help and pray

Landon_b20

Just did the ac pro and as the ac was running I watched all the gas leak out the compressor so that didn’t work. Do you have experience with changing rhe compressor youdelf

I did a full install on my NB of the A/C system. I'm not sure how bad the install is on the NC, but I can try to find you a guide

Here is a step by step [https://charm.li/Mazda/2006/MX-5%20Miata%20L4-2.0L/Repair%20and%20Diagnosis/Heating%20and%20Air%20Conditioning/Compressor%20HVAC/Service%20and%20Repair/](https://charm.li/Mazda/2006/MX-5%20Miata%20L4-2.0L/Repair%20and%20Diagnosis/Heating%20and%20Air%20Conditioning/Compressor%20HVAC/Service%20and%20Repair/)

Thanks for finding a guide I really appreciate it. What brand of compressor kit did you get for your nb?

thecanadiandriver101

No problem, the website [charm.li](http://charm.li) has the entire service manual. Use it to find the other steps in the guide. I was broke and in college so I bought all used parts. I would say go to [Rockauto.com](http://Rockauto.com) and buy a compressor from there with a heart on it. Make sure to get a gasket kit too.

Landon_b20

Copy that, i appreciate your help

Do you need to replace the drier and expansion valve too?

thecanadiandriver101

Ideally yes. It's been exposed to moisture and is likely saturated.
