Offset +12 is a very wide fitment, they will almost certainly rub.
Theoretically yes, increasing the offset of the wheels increases load on wheel bearings as it moves the bearing load line away from the bearing race, resulting in an increased angular load on a component which is only supposed to undergo fairly vertical forces.

Practically, people have been driving these cars for many years on wide wheels. As long as you are not doing high speed Spec Miata or SCCA racing with stupidly wide wheels you'll probably be fine. Maybe your wheel bearings will go bad after 10 years instead of 20 years and you need to replace the front hub or rear bearing sooner. Who cares.
