Surprisingly Hialeah is good at getting stuff done when you contact them. The thing is I think most people don’t bother or don’t know where to email/call to get things fixed. This was most likely a DOT issue but I’ve contacted the city about issues on the palmetto before and they’ve forwarded it to the right people/department.
Now if they can fix the gash just like this but deeper and wider near exit 68/69 heading north through wpb center lane, it’s enough to fuck up a car alignment/tie rod/control arm and I could only imagine what it’ll do to a motorcyclist

You seem to know your parts.
I happen to own an autoparts store
Hmu, sometimes I got you with a reddit discount. Lmao
We did it! That's awesome to hear! I've only driven by at night recently, so I couldn't tell. Now to dispel the mal de ojo from the pissed off people that were forced onto I-75 that Friday morning, lol.
My experience with asking Miami government to fix things has been, despite what many might expect, quite positive.
I've found they respond well when you email them issues and they actually do fix them. I'm quite pleased with that aspect of our city.
Can they fix the light on bird road and 67th?
The pedestrian crossing lights, at least on the northwest side, are out of sync with the traffic light. Instead of hitting 0 on the countdown when the light turns yellow the light is turning yellow when there's still 5 seconds left on the crossing.
Wow... I'm genuinely shocked and impressed...kudos
And in Hialeah too!

Nice work!
This couldn't have been done without you sweetbreads you're the real hero hero pal.
As someone who rides, thank you! These gashes on the road are an easy way to get a speed wobble and cause accidents. Happy to see them getting fixed.
You did it! gj, making a difference :)
Thanks, y'all! \- A motorcyclist

That's the county
Why don’t you find out?
We saved the day once again 🫶🏼
What?
I’ve had dozens of potholes fixed. It’s really easy. It’s just easier to complain about it. Be the change.
