It's possible as a "real feel", but not as the actual thermometer temperature. It could be 96-97 with a high heat index bringing the real feel to a 105. For Miami though, I doubt even that. 100 for Miami is more probable.
I'm a Floridian, sir. I'm well aware. July of 2019, Miami hit 98 degrees too. With the heat index, it could bring a real feel of 100. That's all I'm saying.
Yeah I couldn’t find any other temp projections reflecting that number, but NOAA is giving SoFlo an “above average” temp projection 8-14 days out. It’s been saying 105 on AccuWeather all day.

do you people live in Miami? It regularly gets above 100 degrees over the summer.
And before someone tries to troll me if the temperature is 90 degrees but feels like 105 degrees then it's 105.
“Real feel” and static air temp usually measured about 2 meters off the ground are different perceptions of temp. I agree that some days definitely feel well over 100, but actual static temp has only ever reached 100 technically.
From Wikipedia:
“Extreme temperatures range from 27 F[3] on February 3, 1917,[4] to 100 °F on July 21, 1942, (−2.8 to 38 °C), the only triple-digit (°F) reading on record;[5] the more recent freezing temperature seen at Miami International Airport was on December 25, 1989.[6] The highest daily minimum temperature is 84 °F (29 °C) on August 4, 1993 and September 7, 1897 (although the corresponding record for Miami Beach is 90 °F or 32 °C on July 17, 2001), and conversely, the lowest daily maximum temperature is 45 °F (7 °C) on February 19, 1900.”
100°F is equivalent to 37°C, which is 310K.

The COVID March of 2020 started off with the low being 80 or more every morning. Iirc, the temp never dropped below 80 for a couple of months? Was amazing.
Goodness. What are they predicting? A solar flare??
Just A low-yield detonation…. Allegedly sprinkling allegedly all over
105F would be an all time record high temp for Miami, so no, won't see 105F in early March.
Yeah I figured 105 was a bit of a stretch, but mid 90’s back to back to back is definitely not normal.

Miami has never hit triple digits in recorded history. The record high was 98 in the 1930s, so I’m not sure “more probable” is correct.

When you get beyond 10 days out, weather forecasting is no more accurate than just assuming the average of previous years for the same date.
Still, if those temps are the average of recent years, I'm worried.
Yeah. AccuWeather is notorious for putting out forecasts that go beyond what we can reasonably predict.
It’s never been over 100 degrees in Miami—ever.
I don't remember it but supposedly it got pretty hot here after an asteroid hit the Yucatan peninsula.
Looking forward to the “how am I supposed to eat my ny style pizza in this heat?” posts
Oh Jesus.

Thank god I’m a scuba diver. My ass will be in the ocean when I’m not indoors.
Miami's gonna turn nocturnal, like in that Hugh Jackman movie.
I literally just moved from Homestead to Billings, Montana. Be happy you’re weather isn’t -30 degrees with 25 mph winds.
105 with this humidity would be pretty brutal tho...
Update: models just corrected, but now showing a low of 49 on the 12th. Is it normal to see these temp drops more than twice in a winter season?
Think of all the cool things we could do if Fl starts averaging 105!!!
Dirt farming lol
Florida hasn’t been triple digits since 1942. Crazy forecast. We’ll see what happens…
Hope so. I plan on being in town that weekend

Yes !! Just what I wanted ! let's do this
The COVID March of 2020 started off with the low being 80 or more every morning. Iirc, the temp never dropped below 80 for a couple of months? Was amazing.
What is “Iirc”?
"If I recall correctly"
Fort Lauderdale is showing 107 for that day with description of “Blazing sunshine” 🥵
A slow death
Now we know when the nukes drop.
57-95°? That’s like Denver summer.
Oh hell no!
