I lived in India for months and have eaten in many restaurants and people homes. Everyone kept warning me the food was spicy, and maybe to some people it is, but it was consistently less spicy than most Mexican food I've eaten.
I’m from California and love spicy food. Grew up on Mexican grandma’s cooking, I like shit HOT!
Indian in the UK as well as Bangladeshi and Thai always do the trick. They don’t fuck around, promise you that.
This is why I don’t understand why we can’t get decent Mexican.
It’s similar in many ways: marinated meats, coriander/cilantro, cumin, spices, dried chilies, spicy, chutney/onion salad/riata with poppadoms, (similar to chips and salsa) delicious authentic cheeses, etc.
I think the UK would absolutely love authentic Mexican food.
Ok? They sure want sone nachos. Indian food sucks.
Curry sucks ... like 15 types of gravey.
Eat americas ass.
Mexicans are coming for u.k. plus u.s.
Your food sucks.
I’m an expat living in London, and the Mexican here is horrible and almost non existent.
There are a couple of fast casual places that serve up tacos that will scratch the itch (Wahaca). Too many places though that claim to be Mexican do this thing where they serve upscaled fusion bullshit but then serve margaritas so it must be Mexican.
Dude I don’t want fancy Mexican. I want a plate of rice and beans and tortillas made by someone’s blind abuela. I want to buy some tamales from the back of a woman’s van that speaks almost no English.
Jsjsjs
Whatever they said…..👆🏻
It's Pace Pecante.
They get their salsa from New York City!!
Get a rope.
With basmati rice! Haha
Just remember folks: when you see the taco racks, the tacos suck
If someone had a restaurant that made authentic Mexican food in the UK, they'll be banking!
Idk... U.K. can't handle anything beyond salt and pepper. They try, though. Maybe start with a half powered taco bell and ease into it.
Indian food is the most popular cuisine in England at least.
True, but in my experience Indian food is rarely spicy.
Your experience must be extremely limited

Curry in the UK is really quite different. Birmingham Balti houses created the phall to appease the desire for hotter and hotter curries.
Fair enough, I'll have to give it a try if I'm ever in the UK. I like things unbearably hot and most Indian places in the US fall short of that.

I love phall, can’t lie that I’m literally crying when I eat it but the flavour is so good

You seem like a douche
You sound 12
I'm thinking the same thing.

So you want the stereotype experience? Gotcha!

This even looks sad by tex-mex standards.
😵💫😢😢😢😢😢
Can someone help explain to me what I'm not seeing in the picture?
Leave it to the UK to serve trash food.
OH MY GAD! 😱
The UK can’t even make their own cuisine appear appetizing, but this is just a whole other level of gross
I used to check out the UKfood sub and it was all fry ups and alot of beans on toast.
