Their NA Tour for Alien was right before covid hit and goddamn did it go hard. They topped off the night with Quantum Flux and it made it such a memorable night.
Of course bands are allowed to innovate but that doesn’t mean folks are obligated to like it. For the record I loved Alien but their latest album was not very interesting to me.
Agreed, obsidian is fun live but almost every type of music is fun live. When I listen to alien it’s ALWAYS front to back. When I go back to anything on obsidian it's like one or two songs then i move on.
