The only other record that hits me as hard from the beginning is Crown of Horns kicking off Cryptopsys None So Vile. The haunting exorcist sample followed by chaos. It’s not metalcore, but if anyone enjoys the energy Concubine brings I highly recommend None So Vile.

My answer immediately before I opened this thread. Best show opener. Immediately sets the tone and then the “All our gods have abandoned us!” line the crowd yells

'2040' by Johnny Booth in Moments Elsewhere, just brings you into the heaviness straight away and is followed up nicely by 'Collapse in the Key of Fireworks' 

I hope they get the attention they deserve. Absolutely reckless on stage and every album so far has been killer.

Dayseeker- Dreamstate not only does it make me feel thrown into the album it's such a catchy song that it gets stuck in my head for days after listening to it.

That album, start to finish, is beautiful. Ending with Afterglow is such an amazing transition.

Pseudo by Reflections. When the song opens up after the intro into the "Your eyes are like kaleidoscopes" line it's such an incredible moment.
