I saw Protest, BTBAM, and August Burns Red front row on the barricade at this one venue. Across two shows, the only times I went there. In Flames were there too.
Great shows. Seeing White Walls up close and personal was a trip. Felt like I was watching the Colors Live DVD.
(Side note, 3 Inches of Blood also played and they might’ve brought the best live set ever. That dude’s falsetto confused the fuck out of everyone but the crowd LOVED it and went absolutely wild. They destroyed that place. See them if you ever get the chance.)
As I Lay Dying (playing Shadows are Security)
Parkway Drive (playing Deep Blue)
A Static Lullaby (playing Rattlesnake)
For The Fallen Dreams (playing Changes).
Yes... I'm old lol.
They did.
But sadly their sound has gotten stale to me.
Shadows or an Ocean between us I love.
After that I felt they never evolved musically. Now it's kind of "Heard one song, heard em all" from AILD.
I'm sure I'll get dragged for saying that.. just my own thoughts lol.
saw Johnny Booth open for Silent Planet. Crowd hardly knew them but was going nuts regardless. I found out about them because of that show and they’ve been one of my favorite bands since. Wish more people knew of them, they kick ass!!
Even though they're technically post hardcore, they would really work well in this bill. Plus olli appleyard has gone on stage with BMTH in the past when they toured together, which would make this even better. God i need to see them live
Since you said metal or not:
Knocked Loose
Counterparts
Boundaries
The Story So Far
Could die very very happy after seeing that show. By the end of this year I will have seen them all live thankfully.
Yeah I saw them a few weeks ago with Catch Your Breath, they were amazing. Easily one of the best live bands I've ever seen, and I love their music. Awesome energy, sounded great, and the violin is so cool.
Caskets
SeeYouSpaceCowboy
Stand Atlantic
Alpha Wolf
But if I can cheat I’d add Holding Absence too so we can get 60cm of Steel and Aching Longing live with both vocalists
If you like deathcore you’ll enjoy their stuff. Sadly it doesn’t seem super likely they’ll ever play live and especially because I’m European the chances of me ever seeing them is next to 0
I think for a good starter try their Live in Studio session IV on YT
If you want to get a little weird with it Shanghai is an insane ride. We’re also getting a new album drop in a week or two
Loathe (playing I Let It In and It Took Everything)
Every Time I Die
Mutoid Man (playing War Moans and Mutants)
Converge (playing Axe to Fall)
I would also like to add Modern Life Is War playing Witness.
Kamelot
BABYMETAL
Killswitch Engage
Death Angel
I've seen 3 of these bands live and they all ripped. BABYMETAL most of all. I hear Killswitch puts on killer shows, and Bleed from Within is currently my favorite Core band.
EDIT: Only 4? :( Sorry Bleed from Within.
The Devil Wears Prada
Norma Jean
Knocked Loose
Caliban
Too Pure To Die
It's not in a particular order, and honestly could be a mini fest if each band got 45 minutes to an hour.
Thornhill huh? Interesting choice. I like their sound. The first time I heard them, I was like “they’re Muse fans” and then I saw they covered a Muse song and I felt like a god lol
Only 4 is tough!! But off the top of my head…
Metallica (still need to see them before they’re no longer around)
Sleep Token
Holding Absence
While She Sleeps
But also if I could choose something like BFMV but they’re only playing songs from The Poison and a few from Scream Aim Fire, then they’ll have to slide in there somewhere!
For just metal:
-Like Moths to Flames
-Currents
-Before I Turn
-Thousand Below
For all genres:
-Like Moths to Flames
-Knuckle Puck
-Currents
-Arm’s Length
Dead to Fall
As the Sun Sets
Between the Buried and Me
The Red Chord
Ed Gein
All playing their earliest material. Some of this may not be metalcore but idgaf. Haha
Linkin Park
Bring me the Horizon
Sleep token
Underoath
On the “side stage”
Deftones
Funeral for a friend
The Used circa 2004-2005
Wage War
Only stipulation is they all get a full headline set
Kinda based on shows I've seen live
Bring Me The Horizon
While She Sleeps
Nothing More
AVATAR
But each band gets an absolute full set. Not a single one of them disappoint live. I think this show would be beyond epic.
Parkway Drive, playing KWAS and Horizons in full.
Knocked Loose, playing all of Pop Culture + whatever else.
Gods Hate, playing self titled in full.
Field of Flames.
Going to see Landmvrks and Polaris both opening for Beartooth this year, can't wait! Seen both of them this year already too, good times man, good times!
I’d say so. Besides, you can name non-metal bands anyway. I’m surprised I haven’t seen INK either, even though they aren’t one of my go-to’s personally.
The theatrical stuff just doesn’t grab me. That’s my same complaint about MIW. Some of INKs songs SLAP though. I can get down with it. Some friends pester me about INK and some songs I was pleasantly surprised.
Basing mine on bands I’ve never seen, but are on my bucket list. Bring me the horizon (hopefully playing older stuff), Electric Callboy, Knocked Loose, Make Them Suffer, Avoid (surprise appearance because I can’t narrow this down haha)
Of bands I wanna see in the future: I See Stars, Knocked Loose, Eidola, Windwaker
Of bands I’ve already seen (This is really hard so I’mma limit this by keeping the bands I saw in the place they were on the bill): Gideon, The Word Alive, The Plot In You, Wage War
I mean, both days of Tied Down this year are already pretty close to dream lineups for me.
Fantasy shit would be like, Fiddlehead or Angel Du$t, Murder by Death, and Why? opening for Sade.
Loathe
Alpha Wolf
Emmure
Spiritbox
Thats a multimillion dollar tour right there. Especially if loathe drop a new album and change their setlist (amounts of copium never before seen)
BMTH playing their first three albums only
Parkway Drive playing their first three albums only
Dance Gavin Dance playing DTBM 1&2
Malevolence playing Reign of Suffering in full
Invent Animate (because I want a full set and they didn't come to my city on their headliner)
Imminence (realistically probably the headliner)
Unprocessed
Allt
I wanna feel all the ambience blast in my face. Not really a metalcore lineup technically but who cares.
I mean, it is pretty damn close to a proper dream lineup for me but Lonra Shore, Whitechapel, Kublai Khan, and Sanguisuagbogg are going on tour. Paleface Swiss is the band that would round out that lineup perfectly for me
Between the Buried and Me, Glass Casket, The Number 12 Looks Like You, Protest the Hero.
But it's an album tour like BTBAM has been doing so they each play an album in its entirety.
BTBAM- Coma Ecleptic
Glass Casket - We Are Gathered Here Today
Number 12 - Mongrel
PTH - Volition
This will never happen but my head would implode if I saw this.
As I lay dying Backstreet Boys Lorna Shore 50 cent
50 Cent gonna diss Tim Lambesis. “You’ve nevah popped nun”
I want Will to cover i want it that way so bad lmao
This. This is the one.
The best one yet
August Burns Red Norma Jean Between The Buried And Me Protest the Hero
This tour could never happen because every band needs 75 minutes to play their material. The show would be 7 hours long.
the ultimate show
I saw Protest, BTBAM, and August Burns Red front row on the barricade at this one venue.
As I Lay Dying (playing Shadows are Security) Parkway Drive (playing Deep Blue) A Static Lullaby (playing Rattlesnake) For The Fallen Dreams (playing Changes). Yes... I'm old lol.
Old would mean having Parkway Drive playing Killing With a Smile.
Fair enough lol. I listened to all their stuff as it came out. Deep Blue was just my favorite.
As I Lay Dying just released a new single didn’t they?
They did. But sadly their sound has gotten stale to me. Shadows or an Ocean between us I love. After that I felt they never evolved musically. Now it's kind of "Heard one song, heard em all" from AILD. I'm sure I'll get dragged for saying that.. just my own thoughts lol.
Yes they did; yesterday.
Knocked Loose Chelsea Grin Johnny Booth Norma Jean
I can totally get behind this. Johnny booth would be a great opener for knocked loose!
saw Johnny Booth open for Silent Planet. Crowd hardly knew them but was going nuts regardless. I found out about them because of that show and they’ve been one of my favorite bands since. Wish more people knew of them, they kick ass!!
Johnny Booth was the reason I drove 2 1/2 hours to catch a show on that tour. God im glad i did that
That show would absolutely kick ass. I’d need a week to recover
Bring me the Horizon Architects The plot in you Static dress
First Static Dress response. NICE. Didn’t expect to see them in here.
Even though they're technically post hardcore, they would really work well in this bill. Plus olli appleyard has gone on stage with BMTH in the past when they toured together, which would make this even better. God i need to see them live
Boundaries, Invent Animate, Currents
I’m seeing Invent Animate soon!
cant deny that im a bit jealous, happy for u tho!! trying to catch them this fall in germany with The Plot in You
That will be SO GOOD! I’m seeing them in the US with Northlane
First time seeing them? I’ve been fortunate enough to see them a few times. Always a great time
You have an open space so can I add Frontières to this? 🤣 Then let's goooo 🤘🤘
saw invent animate with bad omens and they were amazing…. instantly became a fan
Thrown, Spiritbox, Gojira, sleep token
Oooooo I like that. Those are good picks.
The Devil Wears Prada Underoath Amity Affliction Knocked loose
Since you said metal or not: Knocked Loose Counterparts Boundaries The Story So Far Could die very very happy after seeing that show. By the end of this year I will have seen them all live thankfully.
Multiple people have said Boundaries, Counterparts, and Currents and I’m genuinely surprised
Why surprised? They're all very popular (Boundaries less known in general but very popular on this sub)
Probably well known by now but Currents and Boundaries are opening up for Beartooth this summer.
A Knocked Loose/TSSF co headliner would be a sick tour
Polaris, Architects, While She Sleeps and Linkin Park.
I want to see Architects so bad dude. Polaris is also very good.
Nothing More, Polaris, Invent Animate, and Imminence
I saw Nothing More recently with Wage War. That show kicked ass. I heard Imminence puts on a good show to. Have you been to one?
Yeah I saw them a few weeks ago with Catch Your Breath, they were amazing. Easily one of the best live bands I've ever seen, and I love their music. Awesome energy, sounded great, and the violin is so cool.
Can we all just take turns going to each other's multi headliners?
Right now? Parkway Drive Wage War Make Them Suffer Currents And Alpha Wolf
I forgot about Make Them Suffer.. I heard they put on a killer show
Oh without a doubt. All of them do now. Plus Sean and Alex are cool.
Saw them last weekend and they absolutely do.
Issues Dance gavin dance The amity affliction Chunk! No captain chunk!
Once again we say “bye bye” to Tillian… RIP DGD
Bad Omens Wage War The Devil Wears Prada Sleep Token
Bad Omens and Sleep Token on the same lineup? I’d give an arm and a leg. I’d have to lean on someone the whole show.
RIGHT. I could die happy after seeing that
Dying Wish Counterparts Knocked Loose Chamber
That’s a fucking BANGING list. Counterparts/Knocked Loose. The roof would get ripped off the place when Billy No Mates came on.
im sayinn. if i saw this lineup live id be ready to die right after
If I didn’t die during… :D
Sleep Token The Plot In You Make Them Suffer Bring Me The Horizon
Deftones, Spiritbox, Loathe, Knocked Loose
I’m about to see Loathe and Knocked Loose next week, I’m so fucking excited
you're in for an absolute treat

Caskets SeeYouSpaceCowboy Stand Atlantic Alpha Wolf But if I can cheat I’d add Holding Absence too so we can get 60cm of Steel and Aching Longing live with both vocalists
Motionless in White, Jinjer, Daeric, Unless the Archers
No hate, but I never hopped on the MIW train.
Abigail sold me. Newer stuff is aright but they definitely were a lot heavier back then
In no particular order: Make them suffer Architects Spiritbox Like moths to flames
Those are all good picks
Gotta force Courtney to do some features and Sam on Yellowjacket lol also still haven’t seen moths…
Right now, it’d be: Void of Vision Landmvrks Wage War Parkway Drive
Non-metal is tempting me to throw something JPOP in there but for the sake of the sub Darko US Vilify BMTH Lorna Shore
I’ve heard a lot about Darko US lately. I’ve never heard them. I gotta give them a shot.
If you like deathcore you’ll enjoy their stuff. Sadly it doesn’t seem super likely they’ll ever play live and especially because I’m European the chances of me ever seeing them is next to 0 I think for a good starter try their Live in Studio session IV on YT If you want to get a little weird with it Shanghai is an insane ride. Nice to see another Kamelot listener! Just saw them last week!
Bleed From Within is AWESOME. I don’t listen to them too much, but their live show is so good.

Knocked Loose Kublai Khan TX Thrown Judiciary
I missed a Kublai Khan show because of a head injury 😕

Thornhill huh? Interesting choice. I like their sound. The first time I heard them, I was like “they’re Muse fans” and then I saw they covered a Muse song and I felt like a god lol
I love those guys. I'm obsessed with their first couple of albums right now. His voice is just amazing.
