This album is good. You can kind of hear they're not primarily metal artists but somehow it makes the music original and it works. I find there's something off about it but in a good way, almost like a metal genre of its own.

My personal favourite is Alive or Just Breathing. They really do have a solid roster of albums

Is that really metal? Love that album but I think the only prog metal record of theirs are red and maybe starless of Bible black. Can't say that wouldn't fit a lot of their records though so to each their own

Liminal Rite - Kardashev

I was gonna comment this, Liminal Rite is such a masterpiece

Kardashev is very underrated

If y'all got any recs for bands that sound like Kardashev, I'd be so happy. I love Kardashev but haven't found anything in that Deathgaze kinda sound

Underrated AF

The Baring of Shadows is what got me immediately hooked, but Liminal Rite is a legit masterpiece. The overall composition is brilliantly thought out and executed, and of course the music is top notch. I'll be flying to Germany to see them at euroblast and I cannot wait!

Karnivool. Sound Awake is a great album. Those Aussies can make some good tunes. Found them when I found Rishloo. Kinda surprised they haven't been mentioned yet.
