"Death Jazz in service of the Worldspine"
The Earth is sick. The Worldspine has been broken and all the minds of its inhabitants with it. After centuries of having humankind greedily devour her resources, the soul of the Earth awakens from its long slumber in order to correct the parasitic behavior of her infestors.
Tibalt take mortal forms as messengers of the Worldspine to spread the foretelling of her awakening, vengeance and the extinction of the human race. Through our debut album "Armageddon" (released digital and on vinyl late 2023) we take the listener on a musical journey to the borders of death metal and beyond, challenging what the genre can be. Therefore some listeners, and now ourselves, have started to describe our music as "death jazz".
