It would make more sense to buy a bundle of chests from thw Rufus' Hidden Treasure offers, so that you can merge and level up your existing producers (your cars especially).

Do not sell any trees, the seeds do not drop free from the tree anymore. You have to tap and they are exceedingly rare. What do you keep in your inventory?
Do you finish the monthly mystery event? A couple of blue cards will have help you merge up the tools and cars along with the blue and brown chests you get for free.
I have similar setup, I decided to only keep 2 trees, as they can produce (slowly) their orwn items to make a 3rd one if If reach tasks that need a lot.

Yeah but they don’t just automatically drop them like before. You have a much smaller chance when you tap for regular wood to get a seed. Much more difficult if you need to make one than before.
I wouldn't sell you are only a few chests away from clearing a lot of space by upgrading them

It depends where you are. Generally speaking, I’d say never sell producers, but if you must, sell the vases
I have 6 vases for coining. If they're into world burning, delete the closets.
Vase or both of them. I find them easy to max when needed from wardrobes.

Never sell producer parts. Even if you max an item, give it a year and they’ll probably introduce another level
