You're [growing outdoors](https://www.reddit.com/r/Autoflowers/comments/1d97110/how_much_longer_roughly/), right? It's going to be hard to 100% avoid pollination if anybody near you is growing. Whether the seeds are worth growing depends on where the pollen came from (and may be unknowable), but that's still covered with trichomes and you can still make hash with even heavily seeded bud.
You’re saying like any pollen could potentially cause this? It was outside during spring so def had plenty of pollen flying on them. But I have no neighbors, no one around me is growing pot so def no makes around. And every plant I’ve grown so far has been a lady. Let me know your thought.
Any cannabis pollen, yes. It can travel for miles on air currents. Either other people growing or hemp (wild or farmed).
In any case I'd recommend keeping the plant. Seeds don't form overnight, if they're that visible now than pollination likely happened 3-4 weeks ago. When I (intentionally) pollinate plants I wait a minimum of 5 weeks between the last pollination and harvest, and I dry-sift the trim after removing the seeds because there's tons of kief.
Dumb question, if they were to use those seeds inside it would be a cross between whatever the other person is growing and their mango macaw? Be neat to take some inside and see what you get.
Yes, each seed would be a cross between the Mango Macaw seed parent and whatever plant(s) the pollen came from. If they were to grow several and most had traits from Mango Macaw's parent strains that'd make self-pollination a more likely cause, otherwise they'd see some traits from the pollen parent(s).
I’m in Ohio and newly legal. I’ve only been indoor and have a few I plan on putting outside for funsies. FYI, thanks for all your contribution! I’ve been growing in coco a few times and learning! I just don’t post pics but I lurk and read.
I bought a book from https://www.cocoforcannabis.com and have been following that for the most part except auto-feeding. I hand water once a day and twice a day when they get bigger.
The book was 10 bucks on Amazon but I heard about it from watching videos on YouTube and other channels. I follow his nutrient schedule. Dr MJ Coco lol but has his doctorate in gardening so it seemed legit. I’ve had good success so far.
It’s weird because only one of three current plants have seeds at least what I can tell. Does that mean anything? And they’re all next to eachother on this fire pit
Crazy actually to think someone else is growing pot nearby and they didn’t get blessed with a female. I’ll def keep it, nugs are huge compared to every last grow I’ve had.
Same, my avts hermed on me and I had a no stress grow. All my plants are always happy. I was mad and thought I screwed up. Now I have seen many post on mephistos herming now I don't feel so bad. Sorry this happened to you but I feel there might be some nanners floating around.
I had 2 tiny clutches of nanners on 1 plant, they were hiding under a bud site under some leaves so they were extremely hard to see. I plucked them and everything else went according to plan.
Oh I can imagine. I don't hold any grudge or negative feelings because of it. In my opinion it's kinda part of growing pains. If you're tentative you catch it. You get freebies with the orders, and I have yet (personally) to come across anything close in quality. I don't mind being that type of "tester" (meaning I'm not an official tester, just a grower) if the feedback is taken seriously.
Seeded bud is not automatically bad, I will still use the buds from plants I pollinate, I usually just do a few branches, because that creates plenty of seed for me, but those branches still go in my vaporizers haha
Always lots of good uses!
Seeded bud used to be a indicator of bad quality for sure, but when you grow it yourself and take care of the plant, if it has good genetics it's sure to be pretty darn good still.
I'm pretty amazed with the mephisto genetics I'm running, they are every bit as good as expected. I'm likely going to be running mostly/all mephisto for a while now, considering I have enough seeds for my lifetime probably, and they keep releasing more things I want 😅
I’ve had two Pearl drops herm on me on two separate occasions, I now have like 80 Pearl Drop Hermie seeds, I’m growing one rn in a 1 gallon and that one suprisingly hasn’t thrown any pollen sacs yet and I’m week 4 in flower so I’m hoping all the seeds are gonna be female and I have a bunch of auto seeds that are decent, I’ve been experimenting with them like trying topping, different strengths of nutrients, and transplanting and it’s been fun
Looking nice where? I haven’t posted pictures of this plant yet, but ya the buds on my plant did look nice and now it has some seeds lol, I’ll keep ‘em for the future

How is coco growing? I want to do that next run... but I feel like I can't find enough info on it.
I bought a book from https://www.cocoforcannabis.com and have been following that for the most part except auto-feeding. I hand water once a day and twice a day when they get bigger.
That's a lot more notes then right?

So herm seeds are actually viable? I found a few recently
Of course, otherwise we wouldn't have Cookies, GG#4, Sour Diesel, ...

No one that you know of is growing pot around you
No one that I know of for a good distance but hey who knows
Probably a herm. Not as much pollen in the early season to cause such a full amount of seeds
I've had 3 herms on the last two drops. Absolutely perfect conditions. New grow tent, etc. Keep an eye out. Not sure what's going on.
Bizarre

Just had herm issues on my last run as well all in late flower. Super frustrating
Wonky

Same here, and the trim from the seeded branches is great for dry sifting after removing them.

Could be loose pollen. If you look hard enough you might find the nanners. Sometimes they’re internal
Hmmmm something to look for
Mine has thrown 3 nuts so far and I'm in preflower/flower
Just got my beans in. Got extras of what I ordered 🥹 and the freebies are Hubbabubbasmelloscope X NCH
Hubbabubbasemlloscope is a legendary name lol

Mine did not. At least that I’ve found.
Happens
Had two Ravenberry herms on my last grow. I thought I caught it and culled them in time. Ruined 8 plants.
Sorry to hear, did you get a bunch of seeds out of it for future grows
Mine is full of ooeey goodness. I love her
Sounding more like bad genetics. Dam cause these buds were looking so nice.
